8 Chapter 7 - Todoroki Toya

At the foot of a mountain, a car was parked there when the doors of the car opened and two people came out, one of them was a cute white haired blue eyed boy who looked to be around 7-years-old and the other was a man with brown hair and golden eyes and light brown skin and wearing a formal bodyguard suit.

"ok, you remember the plan, right?" asked the boy

"yes, young master" said the man

"good, make sure to follow the script" the boy nodded in satisfaction, and with that they headed up the mountain.

There is a mountainous region close to the city Musutafu. It is an area covered with trees, vegetation and streams, on top of a mountain peak stood a white haired blue eyed boy who looked to be around 14-years-old, his hands were Infront of him and he was trying to control a bunch of violent blue flame.

The boys name's Todoroki Toya, he is the son of japan's number 2 hero, Todoroki Enji, or better known as Endeavor, and right now he was on Sekoto Peak, training he's quirk like everyday.

Toya knows that his father have high expectations for him, he wants him to become the number 1 hero and surpass All Might, so not wanting to disappoint his father, Toya was always hard working, training his Quirk to satisfy his father and gets his approval, but no matter what he did, his father never approved of him and always looked at him with a look of disappointment.

Every time Toya saw that look in his fathers eyes, he would swear to prove him wrong, so he started to train very hard, even if it hurt he didn't stop, no matter how many times he burned himself, he would always suck it up and continue training, even when his mother asked him to stop hurting himself he didn't, because she doesn't understand yet, but when he become the number one hero she will understand eveyone will understand hw great he is.

Lost in his own thoughts, Toya got distracted and lost control of his fire for a minute, which caused a nearby tree to get caught on fire, and since he was standing in the middle of a mountain full of trees, soon the nearby trees also got caught on fire.

Panicking, Toya tried to get away from the fire only to discover that most of the trees around him somehow had already caught on fire.

Just when Toya was about to fall to despair, he heard a childish voice.

"onii-san, watch out"

a cute white haired blue eyed boy appeared and started shotting water streams from his hands toward the trees, after a few minutes, all the fire was put out and the boy sat on the ground panting.

the boy looked at Toya and said.

"onii-san, are you alright?"

when Toya heard the question he broke out of his daze.

"y-yeah, but are you ok you look exhausted?"

"yes, I'll be fine, I just need to rest for a bit, but onii-san, what were you doing here training you're fire in the middle of a place full of trees, if the fire spread out, it could burn the whole mountain, and you might have been in danger"

"uh, this place is where my family always train so I have been coming here for a long time, but the real quetion is what are you doing here? you don't look more than 8-years-old so why are you alone in here?"

"ahaha~, I actully came here for a walk with my bodyguard, but he wouldn't let me play, so I ran away" said the boy while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment

"hi, a little kid like you shouldn't run around alone, what if...ouch" when Toya tried to lecture the boy and raised his finger to show his point, he called out in pain.

"ah~, onii-san did you get burned?" the boy asked with concern.

"no, no, this happen to me all the time when I'm training so I'm already used to it"

"doesn't you're mom get worried?"

"she does, but..." before Toya could continue the boy cut him short.

"then why are you making you're mom worried, don't you love her?"

"of course I do, but I don't want to disappoint my father" shout Toya

"but why do that if you're making you're mom worried?"

"that's..."

"onii-san, what's you're name?"

"Toya"

"Toya nii-san, don't you love you're mother?"

"I do"

"then why do you make her worried? you said that you're training and hurting yourself because you don't want to disappoint you're father, but at the same time you're making you're mom sad, does that make you happy?"

"n-no, but if I disappoint my father, I..."

"Toya nii-san, you shouldn't hurt yourself to fulfill someone else expectations, you should live to yourself not for others, and you're dad should love you either way, and if he doesn't, then that man won't make you, you're mom, or the rest of you're family happy, and what you're doing now is hurting them even more"

"I-I-I j..." flustered, Toya was about to a speak when a distant voice could be heard.

"Young master~, you're parents said you're not allowed to wonder around alone"

"ah~,no he found me, look I should get going, bye~" like that the boy started running away

"ah~ what's you're name?" shout out Toya

"Haruto" and with that the boy disapperd into the woods

a few minute later a man with brown hair and golden eyes and light brown skin and wearing a formal bodyguard suit stepped out of the woods, he looked at Toya with an expressionless face which made Toya tense up.

"excuse me, have you seen a white haired blue eyed boy passing from here?"

"n-no, sir"

"hmm, alright then"

and with that he disappeared between the trees

After the man left, Toya sat on the ground and started thinkikng about what happened today.

If it wasn't for haruto he might have died, although he have hurt himself beforr he never came this close to death before.

He also thought about what haruto said, ever since he awaken his Quirk he was always training and trying to become stronger to satisfy his father, but never did his father give him any kind of encouragement

And unlike his father, his mother was trying so hard to keep this falling family together, and only now did he realize made things more difficult for her.

He thought about his siblings, who are under his father abuse in home, while he's here trying to prove he's better than his father, only to realize he wasn't better than him.

Thinking till here, and remembering the pained looks he's mother gave him when he came back home full of burn marks, Toya clutched his head and his eyes started to tear up

'shit, what have I done' like that Toya cried his frustration out.
