3 Sports Festival

Katsuki was the representative for the freshman year and he walked out on stage, separate from the 1-A class. Midnight said "How you feeling Katsuki?" Katsuki said "Like first place is waiting for me." the other classes boo'd, Izuku looked around and said "He's serious, and the other classes are targeting us now." Cloud waved and said "Who cares what they do. We have to beat them to get first place anyway." Shoto grinned and Izuku sighed and shook his head with a smile.

Katsuki went back after flipping the other classes off and Midnight shook her head before saying "That was our representative ladies and gentlemen! Let's give him a hand!" the crowd cheered and clapped, Midnight giggled and said "Our first event! The obstacle course around the arena! It's nearly 4 km!" the crowd cheered again and the students got ready.

Katsuki looked at Cloud and said "See you at the finish line, hopefully I don't have to wait too long." Cloud waved and said "Try and keep up, bleach boy" Izuku chuckled and Katsuki grit his teeth. Midnight said "Ready! Go!" Cloud kicked Katsuki and Shoto before jumping off Izuku and shooting forward at lightning speed as he laughed.

The three grit their teeth and chased him as Cloud took the lead.

He was running in first place and a robot popped out, Cloud looked behind him and jumped over the robot, he kicked it behind him into the other students as he went forward. Shoto made an ice path and slid towards Cloud, gaining on him as Katsuki blew up his hands and shot forward.

Cloud was kicking robots behind him every time he encountered one, he saw Shoto gaining on him and grabbed a robot before throwing it in his path, forcing Shoto to freeze it and go around. Cloud grit his teeth and kept running, almost desperately towards the end as he came across a rope walkway over a pit. He saw it ahead and sped up he crouched at the edge and jumped into the air, he didn't quite make it but he grabbed onto a rope walkway and swung under it, flipping himself on to the other side as Shoto, Katsuki and Izuku, were right behind him.

Shoto and Katsuki passed him and entered the minefield, he grit his teeth and charged forward, trying to dodge the mines by pure luck, unfortunately, luck wasn't on his side as he stepped on quite a few as Shoto and Katsuki got further away and Izuku sailed by on a metal shield. Cloud looked around and picked up a bunch of shields, he threw one on the ground and stepped on it shooting himself forwards into the air, over the land mines.

He squinted at the three in front of him and threw the shield's like frisbees at them and in front of them. He hit all three and blew up the mines in front of them, blowing them backwards as he threw the rest of the shields at the ground where they were landing, hoping to sent them even further back. Unfortunately he only got Shoto, while Katsuki and Izuku ran ahead.

Cloud landed on the ground and grabbed the shield, whipping it in front of him and blowing up the mine, that was luckily hit, allowing him to pass the minefield and make a start dash for the finish line. Katsuki grit his teeth and blew up his palms and gained on Cloud and Izuku grabbed a shield and landed on a mine again, shooting forward.

Cloud was right in front of the finish line and Katsuki, Izuku, and Shoto, were right behind him, left with no other option, Cloud lunged forward and reached his hand out, passing the line and slamming into the ground as the rest crossed it half a second later as Cloud rolled on the ground and slammed into the stage. The other three got on to the stage as Cloud picked himself up from the ground and stood up.

Midnight wasn't sure who crossed first, second, third, or fourth between them and was handed a photo, she looked at the photo as the rest of the students crossed the finish line and said "Congratulations to the first 42 to cross the finishline! You will all be moving on to the second round! The placements are as follows! First place: Cloud! Second place: Izuku! Third place: Katsuki! Fourth place: Shoto!..." she went off and named all the passing students and said "For the next round you will be grouped into teams of 2-4! And you will be grabbing headbands from other teams for points! The number of points will depend on the placement in the race! Which means Cloud has the most points clocking in at 10 million!"

Cloud squinted at her and she winked at him, he cursed and crossed his arms as the other 41 stared at him. Midnight said "The time limit is 15 minutes and the winner will be decided based on the amount of points accumulated, including your original head band! If your team falls apart it does not mean you are out! You may use your quirks but not for malicious uses.." her voice turned venomous as she said "Any one seen using their quirks for malicious purposes with be punished!" her voice went back to happy as she said "You have 15 minutes to form your teams!"

Cloud looked around and saw that everyone was avoiding him, he looked up and said "What if nobody wants to partner with you?" Midnight said "They have to or they can forfeit. If you are left alone, then you're a lone rider." Cloud nodded and sat down, waiting to be a lone rider like midnight said.

Mei wrapped her arms around his neck and said "I won't let you be a lone rider!" Cloud turned his head right in front of her face and almost fell over as he mumbled "So close..." Mei giggled and pulled him off the ground, she said "Should I go on top?" Cloud nodded and said "I might be too heavy." she giggled and strapped her jet pack on as she said "It's finished!" Cloud tapped on it and said "Cool! Can we fly with it!?" Mei nodded and said "Of course! But you have to wear these special boots!" as she put his feet into the boots and strapped them in.

He grabbed the headband and put it around her neck as he said "Be careful." she opened her mouth and closed it mumbling "You're so nice.." Cloud chuckled and pinched her nose as he sat her on his shoulders and grabbed her legs saying "How do I use these?" Mei said "They're hover boots! You can hover in mid air while I use the jetpack! You ready?!"

Cloud grinned and said "Yes Ma'am!" Mei giggled and put her goggles on as she said "Let's do this!" Midnight said "The head band battle royale starts NOW!"

The teams all shot forward towards Cloud and Mei, she laughed and flew into the air as Cloud jumped and stepped over them, he said "Hang on and grab the head bands, we're getting them all!" she cheered and Cloud spun upside down as Mei grabbed a head band of a team, she tied it around her neck and clapped "It works!" Cloud chuckled and landed on the ground as the teams turned around.

Cloud turned around and jumped backwards as a myriad of quirk attacks hit the ground when he was as he said "Mei how many times can you use the jet pack?" she tapped her chin and said "Until it runs out or explodes I guess." Cloud sweat dropped and said "And approximately how many uses is that?" Mei said "Maybe 10-15 times?" Cloud chuckled and said "Let's we can survive."

He jumped back as Katsuki shot off his war horse towards Mei, Cloud said "Jet pack!" as he pushed her legs up, she fell back and turned on the jetpack upside down as Cloud flipped and kicked Katsuki out of the arena. He landed back on his feet with Mei on his shoulders again, she held her head and giggled as she said "I almost smashed my face into the ground!" Cloud ran around and said worriedly "Are you okay? I should've told you before hand, i'm sorry."

Mei patted his head and said "It's okay, I didn't get hurt at all! It was actually really fun!" Cloud let out a breath of relief and smiled as he said "Good!" she smiled sweetly and rested her hands on his head, feeling his soft hair. He spun around and kicked a team's head horse, knocking them down as he grabbed their headband and threw it up to Mei, who wrapped it around her neck.

Cloud and Mei continued taking headbands until it was just Izuku, Shoto, and Katsuki who had them left. The three of them had one or two each and Mei had the rest, Cloud grinned at them and jumped over a team that came from behind, he kicked the person on top towards Katsuki, who punched him away, but Cloud appeared behind the kid and headbutted Katsuki as Mei ripped the headband off his head and tied it around her neck.

Katsuki grit his teeth and charged at Mei, lunging off his horse again, Cloud said "Careful!" as he leaned back abruptly and leg go of her legs, he turned around and hugged her as he turned around and smashed his back into the ground. Katsuki smashed into Shoto and toppled their horse, Cloud picked Mei up and put her back on his shoulders as he reached up and turned the jetpack on, shooting away from the teams collapsing on them, they flew into the air as Mei was stunned at the sequence of events. Cloud ran in the air with the hover boots and landed on the other end of the stage as the buzzer called.

He let out a breath and popped Mei off his shoulders and into his arms as he checked her face and said "Are you okay?" she nodded dumbly and watched as he looked visibly relieved and said "Thank god, I thought you got hurt when we hit the ground. You know I sho-" she kissed him and wrapped her arms around his neck before separating and saying "That was so fun!" Cloud was frozen solid as he mumbled "So many people just saw that..." Mei looked around and her face turned red as she hopped off and said "There was something on your mouth! It's gone now!" before walking away.

Cloud scratched his head and watched her walk away before saying "Where are you going? We need to give the headbands." Mei gave the headbands to the judge and walked away, Cloud shook his head and sighed before taking off the boots and following her to give the boots back as Midnight announced the results "First place Cloud and Mei! Second Izuku's team! Third Shoto's team! and Fourth Katsuki's team! All the team members will be moving on to the battle tournament!"

Cloud caught up with Mei in the hallways to the locker rooms and said "Wait you forgot you boots!" She kissed him and said "I know!" as she grinned, he smiled and said "You did it in purpose?" Mei smiled and nodded, Cloud chuckled and kissed her as she wrapped her arms around his neck. They separated and Cloud said "Do you want to go get ice cream or something after?" she leaned her head against his chest and said "Bring paper and we'll design your new suit." Cloud smiled happily, she looked at him and said "Why did you smash yourself into the ground before?"

Cloud knocked on her head and said "You were going to hit the floor! Not only that, you would've smashed your jetpack." he shook his head and said "You obviously worked hard on it, I don't want to smash it." she stared at him and kissed him again, Izuku and Ochako passed by and their faces turned red.

Cloud turned his head and said "Hey guys!" Ochako mumbled something and ran away, Izuku smiled wryly as he said "Sorry to interrupt.." before going after Ochako, Cloud watched them leave and said "I think, they're embarrassed..." Mei tapped her chin and said "Why?" Cloud shrugged and said "Want to go get some food?" Mei nodded and held his arm as they walked towards the food stands. They got food together and sat down to eat, Aizawa sat in front of them and said "Making it public now?" Mei blushed furiously and Cloud scratched his head and chuckled sheepishly.

Aizawa shook his head and said "Anyway, that was quite the performance." Cloud sat excitedly "Was it good?!" Aizawa waved and said "It's alright but you still next to win the battle tournament." Cloud wilted and said "Yeah..." Aizawa smacked him and said "Stay confident! What did you train for?" Cloud nodded and Mei squeezed his hand under the table, he turned to her and smiled.

Aizawa sighed and said "Finds a girlfriend and has no time for his dad now..." he shook his head and Cloud laughed and said "I'll win for sure!" as he stretched out his fist, Aizawa smirked and fist bumped him before saying "Goodluck kiddo." as he walked away, Cloud watched him go and smiled.

Mei said "He's your dad?!" Cloud shook his head and said "He took me in, my parents abandoned me when they found out I didn't have a quirk." Mei gasped and rubbed his back saying "Oh my god! Are you okay?" Cloud nodded and smiled saying "Yeah, I don't care anymore." he spread out his hands and said "Look at what I have now. Friends, you, and I can be a hero even without a quirk!" he laughed happily and Mei smiled and held his hand, she looked at the time and said "We're gonna be late!" Cloud grabbed their food and she dragged him away to the stage.

The duo reached the stage and looked at the pairings, Cloud grimaced when he saw he was against Mei, she giggled and said "Perfect!" Cloud looked at her strangely and she said "I'll be able to showcase my inventions easily! You can help!" Cloud blinked and laughed saying "Okay." Mei clapped excitedly and they waited for their turn.

Izuku faced Denki: Izuku won

Shoto faced Hanta: Shoto won

Mina faced Eijiro: Mina won

Cloud and Mei's fight was up next.

They both walked on the stage together and Aizawa looked on, amused and wondered what as going to happen. Midnight announced the start and Cloud stood still as Mei popped a mic from her headphones and said "Welcome everyone! I'll be showcasing my inventions today!" the teachers sweat dropped and Aizawa laughed, Izuku chuckled and the other students rubbed their heads.

Mei showed off her inventions and Cloud helped show the crowd what they could do, she used her jet pack and hover boots as she jumped over him and walked on the air for a bit before touching the ground, she motioned for Cloud to attack her and he did while a pole extended from her jet pack and pushed her out of the way. She told the crowd how it worked and showed off her other inventions for around 10 minutes before waving towards the crowd and saying "Thank you!" as she jumped off the stage.

Midnight felt her eye twitch as she said "Cloud wins.. Thank you Mei for the advertisement.." Mei stuck out her tongue and did a peace sign before scurrying off as Midnight had a vein pop up on her forehead. Cloud chuckled and walked off the stage, Izuku said "What a great fight! I couldn't keep my eyes off it!" Cloud sat down and laughed saying "It was her idea.." Ochako said "And you agreed?!"

Cloud shrugged and she sighed before going to the waiting room. Izuku followed her to see if something was wrong, Cloud watched the rest of the fights until the second round.

It was finally time for the second round

Cloud was against Mina in the first battle.

They both got on the stage and Midnight started the fight, hoping that this would be an actual fight this time around, luckily it was. Mina shot out acid at Cloud, who dodged and charged at her in a zig-zag, dodging the acid spit she was slinging at him. She spit twice in the same direction and Cloud rolled out of the way before lunging forward and landing on his hands, he pushed off and said "Sorry." as he stomped on her stomach, sending her flying.

He charged after her and grabbed her legs before throwing her out of the arena.. into a wall. Cloud winced and Midnight declared him the winner, he ran over to Mina and picked her up saying "Um are you okay?" Mina's head was spinning as she said "My knight in shining armor is that you?" Cloud coughed and said "I'll take that as a no then." as he walked towards the nurse while Mina spewed garbage from her mouth saying "Am I on horseback? I wonder what being a wife to a prince is like.." Cloud started to sweat, maybe he threw her too hard.

He handed her to Recovery Girl and Mina said "Grandma? I'm getting married to a prince are you happy for me?" Cloud winced and Recovery Girl smacked her head saying "What prince?! They're always deadbeats!" as she walked away, Cloud was gobsmacked at the interaction and walked back to the viewing stands. He sat down and watched Izuku's fight against Shoto, Izuku put up one hell of a fight, breaking all of his fingers separately before breaking his entire arm, he had Shoto on the ropes until Shoto used his fire side and knocked Izuku out of the ring, Shoto watched as medics came and took Izuku to the infirmary before stepping off the arena and heading back to the waiting room.

Cloud watched Katsuki's fight against Fumikage and after a drawn out fight, Katsuki managed to win as the third round commenced. Cloud got on stage with the other two and wondered what they would do. Midnight said "We have three left! On rare occasions like this the one with the highest score in the two previous rounds will get a buy to the finals!" Cloud let out a breath of relief but maybe too soon as Nezu walked out and took the microphone from Midnight saying "I'm changing the rules."

The crowd gasped and Mei frowned "He's not gonna..." Cloud stared at Nezu, who looked him right in the eyes and said "Cloud will fight Shoto, then Katsuki. Back to back." Cloud narrowed his eyes and Shoto said "What if I lose?" Nezu said "If you and Katsuki lose, you will both fight for second place. If you lose and Katsuki wins you will fight for first place. If you win, its regular tournament rules."

Cloud clenched his fists as he stared at Nezu and said "Hurry up and stop wasting my damn time! You want me to fight them both then I will! And I'll win too! So hurry up and announce the start of the matches!" Nezu was silent before saying "Shoto vs Cloud will begin as soon as Katsuki gets off the stage."

Cloud jumped back and glared at Shoto as Katsuki walked off the stage silently, it was impossible, he had no quirk, how was he supposed to beat both of them in a row. He shook his head and hopped off the stage, Cloud stared at Katsuki and as soon as he hit the ground Cloud shot forward and kicked at Shoto's head.

Izuku came back from the infirmary with Mina and sat with the rest of the class, Izuku said "What did I miss?" Ochako said "The principle forced Cloud to fight Shoto and Katsuki back to back to win first place." Izuku frowned "That's not fair." Ochako said "That's what I said!" Mei grumbled from the back "Damn mouse..."

Shoto was already expecting it and covered his side with Ice, freezing Cloud's leg. Cloud jumped back on one leg and smashed the other one into the ground, shattering the ice as well as his shoe and pants as his leg started bleeding. Shoto wasn't playing around, he didn't care, he had to win.

Cloud grit his teeth and lunged forward, Shoto covered himself in Ice and punched at Cloud, who tilted his head and dodged before punching Shoto in the gut and kicking him in the knee, causing it to buckle. Shoto spread ice around the ground and froze Cloud's legs, Cloud ducked under the kick and smashed his fists on the ice, shattering it and doing even more damage to his legs, he had no more shoes now and both his legs were bleeding, he crouched and uppercut Shoto in the chin, sending him up into the air.

Cloud jumped and flipped, smashing his heel into Shoto's stomach, sending him down to the ground and smashing into the arena. He landed on the ground and kicked Shoto away before ripping off his sleeves and quickly wrapping them around his legs, to stop the bleeding, while watching Shoto get up.

Shoto got up and grit his teeth as he went half and half. Cloud got into a stance and waited for Shoto to make a move, Shoto stared at him and punched the ground with his fire fist, turning the stage into a fire field before surrounding Cloud in tall ice walls and putting his hand on the ground, trapping him inside, Shoto closed his eyes and said "I need to win, I'm sorry." as fire shot out of the top of the ice walls. Midnight sighed and said "Looks like Sho-" she was interrupted by a loud bang.

Shoto gasped and stared at the ice wall with his mouth wide open, another bang was heard and the ice wall cracked, another bang and a hole was made, steam poured out and Cloud walked out, his P.E uniform was in tatters and his legs and arms were badly burned and bleeding. The only part of his uniform that was intact was the part covering from his hips to half way down his thighs, he breathed heavily as his muscles contracted and the steam cleared, his body was in full view, he had perfect muscles on each part of his body, built for speed and power while not looking like a bodybuilder.

Cloud looked up and charged forward at the stunned Shoto, he jumped and kneed him in the chin before punching him in the stomach, sending him flying out of the ring and out of bounds. The crowd was silent, still in shock and Cloud roared "Bring on the next one!" the fire and ice disappeared and Midnight gulped and said "Cloud wins.. Next match is Cloud vs Katsuki."

Cloud walked back to his spot shakily and narrowed his eyes at Katsuki who got on the stage. Izuku shouted "This isn't fair!" a few other students spoke up, Nezu opened his mouth but Cloud said "Shut up!" the student choked and Cloud said "Life isn't fair! You think a villain is going to give you time to take a break if you're injured or tired?!" the students were silent and Cloud got into his stance and said "Either you fight and live or you die and take the enemy with you."

Katsuki narrowed his eyes and Cloud shot forward ignoring Midnight, who was trying to give him time to rest. Katsuki dodged the punch and threw one at Cloud's stomach, sending him flying and spitting out blood, Cloud smashed into the ground and got up, he wiped his mouth and charged at Katsuki again, he threw a punch but pulled back and punched Katsuki in the face with his other fist saying "What you have pity now? Fight back!" as he spit out blood and glared at him.

Katsuki snapped "Fine!" he threw a fist and caused an explosion on him, Cloud rolled out of the way and pounced on Katsuki and swinging his leg at his head, Katsuki ducked and caused an explosion on his back, sending him flying towards the edge of the ring. Cloud's pupils shrank as he grabbed the edge of the ring and lifted his feet so that he wasn't touching the ground. He flipped back on to the arena and jumped over Katsuki's explosion punch and kicked him in the head, sending him to the edge.

Katsuki exploded in front of him and flew backwards towards Cloud as he spun around and punched at him, Cloud met his punch with his own and tanked the explosion by sticking his feet into the arena as he punched Katsuki in place, they fought in close combat punch for punch, Cloud got some shots in on Katsuki's face but his explosions were doing more damage to Cloud, than Cloud could do to him.

Katsuki punched him in the chest and sent Cloud flying but Cloud grabbed his shirt and hugged his waist, Cloud slammed his feet into the ground and leaned back, smashing Katsuki's face into the arena. Cloud got up and swayed a bit as he reached out to grab Katsuki's leg but Katsuki smahsed his hands into the ground and caused and explosion, shooting him out of the ground and kicking Cloud in the face.

Cloud smashed into the ground and lost consciousness, Midnight watched silently as Katsuki walked forward and reached out to grab Cloud, who was unconscious and throw him over the edge. Katsuki threw Cloud but at that very moment Cloud opened his eyes slightly and grabbed Katsuki, taking him with him off the stage, Cloud used the last of his consciousness to flip Katsuki on his back as they slammed into the ground, Katsuki slammed into the ground first and Cloud passed out and rolled on to the ground with a smile on his face.

Midnight was shocked and said "Katsuki touched the ground first! Cloud won!" the crowd went crazy and Katsuki stared at the sky, unable to comprehend what just happened. He was going to win! He was so close! Mei flew over with her jet pack and landed on the ground next to Cloud and screamed "Medic!" Recovery Girl ran out and said "I swear this kid just wants to make my job harder!" as she dragged him away by his foot, Mei followed after her anxiously. Aizawa left as well, so did All Might and Izuku.

Midnight announced the second place match would begin in 15 minutes.

Recovery Girl put Cloud onto an infirmary bed and looked him over before frowning and saying "Everyone out!" Mei said nervously "What's wrong!" Recovery Girl said "I need to do surgery! Leave!" Aizawa dragged Mei out of the room and her, Aizawa, All Might, and Izuku watched from the window as Recovery Girl did surgery on Cloud.

A while later

Recovery Girl took off her gloves and kissed Cloud's forehead, speeding up his recovery and erasing his burn marks. Mei rushed in and held his hand as she looked at his face, Aizawa said "Is he okay?" Recovery Girl nodded and said "He might be out for a few days but he'll be fine after resting for at least a week. At least he won't be expelled."

Izuku said "Expelled?" Aizawa said "Nezu said If he didn't get first place, he would be expelled." Izuku gasped and said "That's not fair at all! Why?!" All Might said "Izuku! Do you remember what Cloud said before?" Izuku nodded and said "Yeah so?" All Might said "He was right. Life isn't fair, sometimes you have to fight until near death, villains won't give you a chance to breathe for the sake of fairness." Izuku was silent and Mei said with tears in her eyes "But this wasn't a death match! It was just a competition!"

All Might sighed and said "If he couldn't handle it here, he would die against real villains." Aizawa sighed and said "It's true." Recovery Girl said "All I know is that if this kid is in my infirmary on his death bed one more time, I'm gonna beat Nezu myself!" Aizawa and All Might shivered and teh three guys left to go watch the second place match.

Katsuki won and Aizawa accepted the first place reward for Cloud as he brought a bunch of classmates to see Cloud. Izuku put the medal on the desk and Cloud grabbed his arm saying "Is there money for first?" Izuku nodded and Cloud said "I heard Ochako talking, give it to her.." as he passed out again, stunning Izuku, who told Aizawa, who nodded and told Ochako, who cried and ran out of the room. Katsuki and Shoto stared at Cloud in the hospital bed, Aizawa left to get Ochako, leaving the rest of the students in the room alone.

Fumikage said "Anybody else find him desperate to win?" Izuku was silent and the rest nodded, Tenya said "He was running on pure adrenaline alone after Shoto, trapped him in the ice wall." Eijiro said "What happened at the end Katsuki?" Katsuki grit his teeth and said "He woke up and turned me on my back before passing out before we even hit the ground." Recovery Girl groaned and said "Why is my room a discussion room all of a sudden?! If he didn't win he would've been expelled! Now get out!"

The class was stunned and Katsuki and Shoto narrowed their eyes and Mina said "What do you mean?" Recovery Girl paused her video game and pointed to Cloud on the bed and said "Last time he was like this Nezu decided to sent him home because he thought he couldn't keep up with the group, being quirkless. Aizawa got him a chance, and Nezu agreed if he won first place, he could stay at the school. How many times do I have to explain this?" as she went back to her video games and mumbled "Hehe get rekt scrubs!"

The class had their mouths hanging open as they stared at Cloud, Katsuki and Shoto left with their fists clenched, they wanted to win they didn't NEED to win like Cloud did. They promised themselves they wouldn't lose again, no matter what. They rest grit their teeth and left as well, Izuku said "You're going to stay?" Mei nodded and Izuku nodded before leaving, Mei held his hand as she fell asleep on the bed.

A few days later

Cloud woke up in the bed and ripped off the IVs and oxygen mask before saying "Thanks." Recovering Girl waved, she had a VR head set and laughed as she said "Die noobs!" Cloud was confused and picked up his medal and Kumo before walking out of the infirmary, he was still wearing his tattered P.E uniform as he walked the halls. He looked up and saw his classroom and walked inside, covered in bandages.

The class snapped their heads at him and he walked to his seat and sat down, Izuku gave him a thumbs up and Cloud smiled before falling asleep at the table, Aizawa shot his bandage and smacked him awake, he shot up and said "Damn ninjas!" the class burst out laughing and Cloud was embarrassed and Aizawa said "Today you're going to be getting hero names." the class cheered and Aizawa said "First I'll show you your recommendations."

He pulled down a chart with all their names and a bar graph with number on the end, Aizawa explained "These are heroes who were willing to take you in for training. Usually they were more balanced but this year.." he grimaced a bit and said "Most of the votes were focused on Katsuki and Shoto." the class tilted their heads in confusion and Cloud looked at the graph and saw his name with a '0' next to it, he sighed and looked out the window, deciding to not pay attention anymore.

Aizawa kept speaking until Midnight walked in and looked at the graph, she didn't say anything but she looked annoyed. Aizawa said "Midnight is going to be judging your hero names. Keep in mind that your hero names will be portraying your image to the people." as he passed out sheets to every desk, Cloud immediately wrote a name down and walked to the front of the class.

He flipped his sheet and showed 'Null' Aizawa said "Null?" Cloud nodded and said "I don't have a quirk so Null! It's like nothing!" Aizawa nodded and Midnight nodded as well, Cloud threw the paper on the table and mumbled "Just like my pro recommendations..." as he walked back to his seat as Aizawa grimaced. Cloud propped his head up and looked out the window for the rest of the day.

The bell rang and Cloud walked out of the classroom with his school bag and Kumo as he went to find Mei, Aizawa followed after him with a paper.

Cloud opened the door to her room and saw the kid, that called him a quirkless loser, yelling at Mei "I said make my damn costume! You're not good for anything else!" Mei was staring at him with a blank face and Cloud was seething with rage, he grabbed the kid's head and smashed him into the ground, he unsheathed Kumo and held it at his neck as he said "Who the fuck do you think you're yelling at."

The kid gulped and said "I'm sorry!" Aizawa appeared and said "Cloud. Enough." Cloud sheathed Kumo and kicked the kid out of the room saying "Go find another tech person to abuse." Aizawa moved out of the way and caught the kid, before handing him to another kid and saying "Bring him to the nurse please." the kid nodded and brought him to the nurse.

Cloud said "Are you okay?" Mei smiled and nodded, he held her cheeks and squished her face as he said "You're good at everything, don't listen to losers." Mei teared up and hugged him saying "Thank you.." Cloud rubbed her back saying "Anytime." Aizawa closed the door and said "You're upset?"

Cloud was silent and Mei said "What happened?" Aizawa said "He didn't get any recommendations from Pro heroes." Cloud sat down and sighed, Mei frowned and said "How is that even possible? He won!" Aizawa shrugged and said "I don't know. The Pros do what they want." Cloud waved and said "It's probably because I don't have a quirk. Whatever I'll just train myself, who cares what the pros think. I've done it before."

Aizawa shook his head and said "You need field training." Cloud said "For what?" Aizawa said "Experience in real life situations." Cloud waved and said "I can go be a vigilante." Mei giggled and Aizawa shook his head and sighed, he handed him a paper and said "These are 40 choices that everyone gets. Pick one." Cloud opened his mouth and Aizawa said "I'm forcing you." Cloud sighed and Mei looked at the choices and said "This one looks good!" Aizawa waved and said "I'll leave you two alone, make a decision by tonight and tell me at home." as he left and closed the door.

Mei looked at the list and said "You really didn't get any nominations?" Cloud shook his head and sighed, she held his face and said "It's okay!" she kissed him and smiled saying "We don't need pros!" Cloud hugged her and chuckled as he said "A birdie told me you didn't leave my hospital bed for 2 days." Mei blushed and said "They're lying! I didn't even come see you!"

Cloud laughed and kissed her face all over as she giggled and said "Stop! You need to find a field training place!" Cloud said "Where are you going?" Mei looked to the side and said "I don't have to go anywhere..." Cloud groaned and said "Do I really have to go? What am I going to do?" Mei giggled and said "For field training idiot!"

Cloud sighed and flipped the paper over before drawing on the back, he drew a new costume and showed her along with his hero name. Mei picked up the picture and said "Null?" Cloud nodded and said "Like nothing!" Mei laughed and said "That's depressing." Cloud deflated and said "It's supposed to be like no quirk.." Mei giggled and said sarcastically "Ohh so cool!" Cloud grumbled "Thanks..." she laughed and looked over the drawing and got more into it as she went into tech mode and said "We can do this! I can make it so much better too! We can add the jet pack and hover boots!"

Cloud had his mouth open and said "Really?!" Mei nodded and said "I can make the hover boots into shoes and make them smaller! The jet pack can go under the kimono..." she walked to her desk and Cloud watched her and smiled, he liked watching her work, she turned around and said "You want a blank mask?" Cloud nodded and she waved "Boooring~ I'll just surprise you!" Cloud chuckled and said "Okay." she got to work and wrote down an address and said "Here's your field training address, now get out! I'll come find you when it's ready!" she kissed him and pushed him out the door, he turned green as he held the training workplace address.

He sighed and walked home. He walked in the house and put the address on the table before going to the training area, Aizawa grabbed him and said "Eh? Where do you think you're going?" Cloud said "Training?" Aizawa shook his head and said "Not for you kid, Nurse said no training for a week it's been 3 days, you have 4 left." Cloud grumbled and walked up the stairs to take a shower and get rid of his bandages.

A while later

He walked back downstairs and Aizawa had a paper on the table, he threw it to Cloud and said "Congrats Kid." Cloud took the paper and said "A recommendation?" Aizawa nodded and said "Yoroi Musha. 9th Hero on the billboards. He's a traditional old man." Cloud was confused and said "A traditional old man? Why would he want me?" Aizawa shrugged and said "Maybe he was impressed by your speech?" Cloud chuckled and said "I don't even remember that. Where is it?" Aizawa drank from his tea and said "Hosu." Cloud nodded and said "Alright, I hope I can learn something.." Aizawa chuckled, he was waiting for Cloud to meet the old man, that would be funny.

Also his hero name was a predetermined choice it makes sense because he was no quirk, it's supposed to inspire quirkless people!
