5 Teaming up, taking down the zero point

[A/N: Before I write the next chapters I want to know if you guys want to see Mineta in class 1-B, I'd like to keep him in class 1-A, but if you think it would be more interesting to see him in another class, then I don't mind making him change places with someone, like the guy who can copy others' quirks. That thing about two days without writing chapters starts now from the time this chapter was published.]

Each step made the ground shake, the robot's speed was too high, he wasn't fast enough to get away from it, besides, many of those guys were also in a pretty bad situation, if he didn't do anything, he risked getting really injured and losing a lot of potential hero points.

Think, think! There must be something you can do! Minoru's eyes were focused on the robot's body, he still had 10 or 20 seconds before it reaches him, if anything he had enough time to think of a solution.

Then he pointed to a boy next to them who was wearing a white headband around his head that made his spiked hair stand upwards. 'We saw him fighting when we're running around, he can fuse objects together by touching them.'

Minoru opened his eyes wide as the gears in his head started spinning furiously, the center of gravity of such a large robot is unstable, if its mobility is affected, perhaps using his quirk 'Pop Off', they would be able to knock the robot down... At that moment it would be possible to clog its exhausts using Yui's quirk and with the boy's help, they might be able to make it impossible to be unclogged.

Once the robot tries to get up and move its limbs that have been trapped by the super sticky properties of 'Pop Off' the servo motors will increase the energy output and generate heat that won't be exhausted.

If everything works as expected the robot will be forced to shut down in order to avoid frying its most essential components or even an explosion...

Blake watched from the side as Minoru worked on a plan on his own, the corners of his mouth raised in a smile, and he thought to himself. 'You're finally progressing... Sigh... Fortunately, that wish wasn't wasted, still...' He looked towards the giant robot and his eyes became teary for a moment. 'Well, sacrifices must be done to achieve your dreams, isn't it?'

"I know what to do!" Minoru exclaimed.

'Good, I'll watch how you'll solve this situation then.' Blake smiled at Minoru and disappeared. The world slowly sped up and Minoru started running towards Yui.

She was watching the scene completely shocked, she never expected UA to use such a thing in an entrance test. However, if anyone was to look at her, they would think that she didn't think much of this situation, her cold face made it difficult to understand what happened in her mind.

Suddenly a strong wind swept her, turning around, she saw Mineta and opened her mouth to say something, but before she could say anything. His face suddenly became serious and he extended his hands towards her, and with a single grabbing motion, he pushed her towards him as he spun around by forcing his feet while changing his center of gravity.

With one hand holding her close, the other he used to draw his kodachi in lethal-Raijin mode, and instantly cut with all his strength one of the huge blocks of concrete that the robot threw at the crowd.

Sweat poured down his face, as he sheathed his kodachi and let go of Yui, his right arm was shaking due to the stress of cutting through such a dense and heavy object, he would have to ask for medical assistance after the end of the test because he was pretty sure his arm was completely fucked up at this point.

"Wow!" Yui tried her best to sound surprised, but... she failed. "Thanks for saving me, Mineta-San."

Minoru nodded but he didn't waste time and was straightforward with her. "Yui I need your help to stop this thing, are you with me?"

"Mm, just tell me what do I have to do." She nodded and her face became somewhat serious.

"Then, hop on, we will have to go really fast." Minoru crouched with his back turned towards her.

Yui didn't waste time and quickly jumped on his back, this kind of fireman carrying wasn't any problem for Minoru, and she didn't think of it as a problem because she was sure that he had his reason for asking this.

Once he was sure that she was holding properly, he took some distance and started running with extreme speed towards the wall, with one of his hands, he started throwing some of the balls from his head on strategic positions to allow him a quick climbing, meanwhile, with the other, he grabbed some of the scattered stones around the ground.

Once he arrived at the rooftop, he let her drop off and gave her the stones. "Prepare to use them and be quick!"

She nodded and watched as he went down the building with a single jump and used the nearby pole to slow down his fall and jump towards another boy.

"Hey, you!"

The boy wearing a headband stopped to look towards Minoru. "What is it? Can't you fucking see that giant damn robot!? Just run you stupid!"

Minoru's eyebrow twitched, such a dirty mouth... but it wasn't time for that, he quickly explained his plan and asked his help.

"Alright, I'll help, but only because this plan of yours makes a lot of sense."

Nodding, Minoru quickly brought him to the rooftop he dropped Yui and went down, now that everyone knew the plan, he just had to act.

He tried making his right arm a little more comfortable and stopped in the middle of the road. Once the kids went past him, and the robot was close enough, he brought both his hands towards his head and shouted. "GRAPE RUSH!"

Blake watching this couldn't help but facepalm, well, it was a hero society at least, it wasn't that cringe... he tried to comfort himself with those words as he watched Minoru filling two areas big enough to cover the robots entire feet, and since he knew the distance between each footstep, he knew exactly where to throw them so that it would step exactly on top of the balls.

However, he didn't stop there, once the robot stepped in the first 'landmine' he started throwing the balls towards the robot's leg joints, he proceeded to do the same thing again with the other foot that also got stuck thanks to his quirk.

Once the robot trying moving once more, it quickly lost its balance and fell down to the left, only stopping after resting its shoulder in the same building where he left Yui and the boy with a dirty mouth.

Seeing that it worked, he turned towards them and shouted. "Now!"

Yui and the boy nodded and jumped from the edge of the building and landed on top of its head, they then proceeded to clog every exhauster. She would throw a rock inside the exhaust and press all of her fingers together and the rock would suddenly grow in size until it fitted the whole thing perfectly, then the boy with a headband touched the rock and the sides of the exhaust and fused them together in a molecular level, meanwhile, Minoru kept throwing his adhesive balls towards the robot arms and arm joints. In less than 10 seconds they finally finished everything. Yui and the boy left through the robot's back and ran towards the place he came from.

When the robot managed to synchronize with its gyroscope and tried to stand up, it realized it couldn't move its limbs and started applying more strength into its servo motors, the 5 store building to his left where his shoulder was touching, even started trembling with the amount of strength he was generating, but even then it couldn't move.

"1 minute remaining!" Present Mic's voice resounded making everyone turn to look at the giant robot and exclaim after seeing how he had been completely immobilized by purple balls and... rocks!?

The robot kept struggling non-stop while the teachers in the camera room looked towards battle center B and G with wide eyes.

"This!" All Might almost choke as he looked at both screens.

Nezu, an intelligent and big rat... or small bear... or something, looked at the screen with a smile.

"Mm, This year's batch is incredibly promising, working with strangers to deal with a stronger enemy and a demonstration of sheer power! Toshinori, perhaps the future spot for the representative of justice belongs to a group instead of a single hero."

All Might after hearing this gulped but soon enough he smiled. "Um, the future looks very bright. The new generation of heroes might be better than the previous one!"

Aizawa looking at the screen for the first time spoke a few words, surprising everyone. "This batch has potential." Leaving those words behind he left the room.

All Might smiled even more hearing his words if even Aizawa had such an opinion, the professor who expelled an entire class without mercy, then... things are really better now.

"Everyone with me! If you're injured, Recovery Girl will patch you up, there is no need to get anxious!" A man wearing the common uniform from the U.A. staff team approached the crowd and led them to a crowded place where Recovery Girl was taking care of the injured.

While he was waiting for his turn, Yui and the boy with a headband were talking about what they did in the test. "Did you saw how we defeated that giant monster!? Heck yeah! We totally rocked that bastard!"

"Mm. We work really well as a team, if we had to deal with the robot alone, we would probably fail miserably."

"Yeah." The headband boy smiled and turned to look at Minoru. "Well, credit where credit is due, I don't know how you came up with such a plan, or how you know so much of robots, but if you weren't there, this would be impossible. I'm sorry for cursing you early, I'm Awase Yosetsu by the way." He reached out his hand.

"Mineta Minoru." Minoru nodded and shook his hand.

"Mineta-San, it has been a while since we last saw each other." Yui approached him and tried to smile, but it was such a small smile, that unless you're a hundred percent focused you wouldn't notice it.

"Eh? You guys know each other already? Are you a couple? Friends? Childhood friends? Colleagues?"

Minoru messaged his ears, this guy was a bit too loud, he wasn't used to someone speaking like this. "You could say we are childhood friends more or less. But the last time I saw her was like 11 years ago."

Awase nodded. "Well, that's a lot of time, I'll let you two talk then, it's finally my turn to be healed." He turned to look to the left and smiled seeing someone from U.A. staff calling out his name.

After he left, Minoru turned to look at Yui who was sitting in a chair and looking at him with her head tilted to the side. "How have you been, Yui? Are your parents well?"

"Uhm? No one told you?" Seeing Minoru shaking his head and frowning she continued. "They died when I was four years old. I have been living with my aunt ever since."

Hearing this Minoru lowered his head, so they were in the same boat? And to think that both their parents died more or less at the same time... He couldn't help but think again about the past, he couldn't understand how something like this happened, especially so because his grandfather still refused to tell him how they died.

"Do you know how it happened?" Minoru felt a little bit guilty for being so straightforward with her, but at the moment his sixth sense was warning him of something, he could feel the smell of conspiracy in the air.

"No, aunt never told me no matter how much I asked, she said it was better like this, that knowing this wouldn't bring me any good." Yui lowered her head and started playing with her hands, making shadow figures on the ground with them.
