Three years passed in the blink of an eye, the child who once cried at every corner and was always victimizing himself grew to become a fine young man, having learned how to deal with his feelings, he succeeded in giving his first step towards his goal.

His journey was difficult, and full of hardships, from gathering the necessary amount of money, to dealing with the difficult process of creating the serums, he did everything in his reach to become stronger.

And biology wasn't the only thing he used in his favor, through his knowledge of software engineering and technology, he created two perfect swords that served his purpose both in lethal and non-lethal approaches.

That coupled with the two serums he used so far, one to improve his intelligence, and the other to improve his body, made him a much stronger person, he was confident that he could pretty much become a powerful hero given enough time.

However, he wasn't stupid to only rely on his body, through Blake's advising he decided to invest his money to prepare for the future. If there is one hero from his previous life that could demonstrate why preparation is the mother of success, that hero was Batman.

Through technology, Batman had many suits that gave him the capabilities to fight beings comparable to gods. And Minoru knew that to face his future enemies, he would need a similar thing.

His plans branched out more and more with each passing day, as he prepared himself for the future. Even collecting DNA samples from heroes and villains became part of his routine. One day he would use his accumulated knowledge and their own quirks to his favor and prove that one's quirk does not decide how far one can go.

Minoru had his eyes closed as he patiently waited for the test to start, since he knew how sudden it would be, he was already prepared to enter. Today he came wearing a black jumpsuit and with his two swords, personalized Kodachi's. They were created using a very advanced technique that mixed nanotechnology and software engineering, it's a three-stage sword.

The first stage is called lethal, in this stage, the sword will have a very sharp edge, and is mainly focused on killing an enemy or cutting through obstacles. The second is non-lethal, the edges lose their sharpness, and they became perfect tools to deal blunt damage. The third, which he calls Raijin, is an extension of the second and the first, where he can charge the blade with electricity to deal with more tough enemies.

Unfortunately, those were the only pieces of equipment he was allowed to take with him to the test, and the only reason they let him do it, was because they understood how little offensive power his quirk had.

However, he wasn't the only one allowed to do that, many contestants had quirks that required the use of external tools to assist them.

He wasn't thinking about anything really, his mind was pretty much blank at this moment, all that existed for him were his swords and his goal, but something unexpected happened.

'Huh?' Minoru turned his head and looked at the girl touching his shoulders with a blank face. "Do I know you?"

The girl blinked her eyes and seemed to be deep in thought, her shoulder-length black bob-shaped hair swayed with the winds as her cerulean eyes looked downwards, however, her expression remained neutral, not showing any emotion.

Frowning he was about to focus once again, but the girl next words and actions truly made him curious.

"Mineta-San..." She patted his head as if he was a kid.

"Eh!?" This time he couldn't regain his focus, this girl he never met in his life was too weird, how did she know his name? Did they truly meet before? Could he have simply forgotten her for some reason? He looked at her with more attention, and searched deep within his memories, he kept going back and back until he saw himself in an unfamiliar room.

"YOU CAN START!" Voice Hero: Present Mic's voice sounded everywhere, the people were stunned and looked up towards the tower where he was watching everything.

Clenching his teeth, Minoru memorized the girl's appearance so that he could find her later, and jumped above the crowd towards the gates that had already opened. The girl just watched expressionlessly as he left with extreme speed, doing a stunt that most people would find extremely hard to imitate, after all, not many could jump four meters in the air.

"What's wrong!? There is no countdown in a real battle! RUN! RUN!"

Hearing Present Mic's last words everyone hurried inside the battle center, but they were already regretting this situation once they looked forward and saw someone already dozens of meters ahead of them.

Minoru didn't waste a single moment, as soon as they entered his field of view, he started moving his legs and feet with much higher speed, sometimes it looked like he was tapping the ground twice with each step, in the blink of an eye he appeared beside the first on the left and with a single lightning-quick sword drawing technique, he cut the robot in half and used its explosion to boost himself towards the other one, which he finished with a single powerful kick that crushed the robot's hull and destroyed its central control unit, effectively killing it.

"What the hell!"

Some of them looked shocked, the others just felt more pressured, seeing someone easily taking care of the 3 points wasn't unexpected, the people shocked were pretty much dumb ignorants that knew nothing about how far training could make someone go, what truly bothered them was that there were now two less 3 points to destroy, so they needed to increase their speed!

Seeing the results of his training Minoru let a small smile escape, this power... it was something that Mineta originally would've never been able to achieve, but through science, he made this possible.

'We did it! It's finished, supercharging the ingredients with zero-point energy did indeed solved the issues we were experiencing with the model previously!' Blake smiled as he looked at the supercomputer screen after he added the zero-point energy and other parameters to the simulation.

Minoru was looking at the screen with wide eyes, he couldn't believe such a stupid theory actually worked. "Well, we have to thank Mr. Nikola Tesla for this success then... Sigh, if at least we could harvest this kind of energy with bigger efficiency, we could have devices that don't need to charge... pretty much infinite energy..."

Minoru ran up the wall as he made a backflip to avoid being hit by a 3 point missile and started falling on top of it, with his kodachi already in hand and ready to pierce through the robot's hull. "I count this as our victory!" He cut through the robot armor and slashed its central control unit.

However, it wasn't time to relax yet, his ears suddenly perked up and through the corner of his eyes, he could see five 1 points coming towards him at high speed through their wheels. Smiling he quickly sheathed his kodachi and touching his head he took four balls with each hand and started running away from them as he threw them on the ground in such a manner that they would never be able to go through this obstacle course he created.

After throwing 28 of those he smiled and stopped, the robots rapidly approach and tried to dodge the balls but their speed was simply too high, once they touched the first balls, they lost their equilibrium and fell hard on the ground, the speed was such that they exploded from the impact.

Seeing this he frowned, it seemed that he overestimated their maneuverability.

In a dark room where a big screen showed the camera views of the many battle centers, Aizawa Shota looked at one camera view with interest.

'This kid's training... Well, someone will definitely be satisfied with this year's students batch.'
