43 Chapter 43 New powers

"Hmm. In short, you have got power-ups…" Bisha muttered.

After waking from the coma, Rex told Bisha about Alpha and Omega nanites the next day. Only Bisha remained to listen to his stories.

[Omega-1 Nanite

The Omega-1 Nanite, also known as the Control Nanite, is a large, silver nanite. It grants Rex Kinzoku the following special abilities:

Creation of Omega machines

Unlimited nanites creation

Enough life force

It uses Spiral Force in exchange for energy. It is also 'key to everything'.]

[Meta-Nanites

The Meta-Nanites, also known as Master-Control Nanites or Master Nanites, are extremely powerful nanites created to control the Dominion Code, or put simply the "God Code." They could control the fabric of the universe. All of the Meta-Nanites are required to have the complete code. When used individually, the Meta-Nanites can grant control over gravity, matter, and anti-matter, space-time, energy, and mechanics.

They are categorized in colors:

Purple: Technology

Blue: Elemental control

White: Gravity

Green: Space-Time

Orange: Matter and energy

Purple meta-nanite works as a bridge, if connected to other meta-nanites, the host can make machines to use other abilities of other kinds. Like if purple meta-nanite is connected to green meta-nanites, Rex could make a watch like a machine that could store anything in a pocket dimension.]

[Alpha-Nanite

It is the biggest red nanite that is visible and placed on Rex's left eye socket. Rex's left eyes work like normal but it has to regenerate, it turned red granting immense healing and regeneration abilities. For the moment, it is unstable. It provides Rex, many abilities:

Advanced regeneration like immortality

Berserker form

Corrosive energy blast]

[Spiral Force: A mysterious force that enables the user to make machines. It is similar to Ki which can be enhanced the powers of nanites to make more machines.]

Rex was having a hard time swallowing these power-ups. Original Rex Salazar never had Alpha-Nanite since Alpha was a separate sentient entity that appeared in Ben 10 episode.

But Alpha-nanite which Rex possessed was different from the one that appeared in animated series. The most noticeable part was monstrous regeneration. It practically makes Rex immortal as it can heal him rapidly.

What made Rex happy the most was Omega-1 Nanite and Spiral force. Omega-1 Nanite is a cheat. It can make an infinite number of nanites at cost of spiral powers and guess what? He now didn't need to eat like horse to make nanites.

As for Spiral Force, he knew some Ki training methods from Yato. The reason why spiral force ranked B was that Rex trained Ki from his childhood. He can feel the power of spiral force which was much different from the nanites he possessed.

"Congratulations, Rex-sama."

"Thanks, Relissa," Rex said with a smile to the blonde-haired girl. She was Bisha's secretary along with her sister Ryoka who was a maid.

Then the doctor came to give a check-up to Rex. He nodded and after doing some tests, doctors gave a green chit to Rex's physical condition.

After some time, Nezu, All Might in muscular form, and Aizawa entered the room.

"You are looking well, Rex. I have to say, you are a strong boy." Nezu said with a nod.

"Thank you Principal Nezu for your praise." Rex said with a smile then looked at awkward-looking All Might and added, "It was an accident All Might so relax a bit, will you? And you can go back to your skinny form."

"What how did you… sigh* I knew you would have figured that out." All Might said then with a cloud of smoke, he turned into a skinny version. "So, Rex. How are you feeling?"

"Muy Bueno!" Rex answered in Spanish.

"Rex, what happened to your red eye?" Aizawa asked.

Rex was looking normal but yesterday, when he regenerated his arm, he had a crimson eye but now he was looking normal.

"Oh, it is right there," Rex said then closed his eyes. He opened his eyes again with a red ball in his left eye socket. "This is right here. I can switch on or off if I want to heal. Pretty cool right?" Rex smirked.

"Sigh* yes it is good," Aizawa said.

Rex looked at Aizawa and thought, 'Maybe I should create a machine to heal others…'

He could only heal himself but what about others? What if his loved ones are in danger? He decided to think about this after he gets home to think for some time.

Rex didn't want to discuss AFO in front of others, especially Nezu and Bisha. Both of them are related to the government and if All Might want something to remain hidden, it would be better to ask him when they were alone.

After giving an overview of his red eye he was discharged from the hospital. Rex didn't say anything about Omega-1 Nanite since it was more important than Alpha-Nanite. The reason was simple. Rex can't trust anyone from school anymore, especially Nezu. Even Bisha was talking the same thing that why Nezu ignored the security when reporters broke into the school.

Rex asked Aizawa not to tell any of his classmates that he was healed since he wanted to give them a surprise. Aizawa ignored Rex and went out.

They were in the car when Relissa was driving and Rex and Bisha were talking.

"You should tell Momo about yourself. She was continuously crying when you were in the hospital." Bisha said.

Rex felt a little bad. He knew that Momo had a feeling for him and he liked her too but he didn't want to enter any relationship for the moment. His feelings were complicated since he liked Melissa too. Not to mention, he was a good friend of Kyoka. He didn't want to break anyone's heart so he never tried to flirt with either of them.

Making a harem and asking them to share a man? Rex felt just so stupid and shameful from just this thought. There was no way a girl would agree to compromise her time with her beloved to another woman. Even if it was the case, Rex hoped that he was still 15 years old. He first wants to become a pro before he could even offer something to girls. Not to mention, both Momo and Kyoka are aiming for becoming a pro. Relationships may halt their progression which Rex didn't want.

"She is a strong girl, mom. She will overcome and become strong." Rex said with a smile. Bisha sighed and nodded.

Personally, he wanted to spend some time with Momo but both Bisha and Rex knew that events of trouble will start soon.

For Rex, he wanted to explore his powers. Meta-Nanites, he wanted to know what they are capable of. If he was able to harness their full potential then he will be overpowered. He knew that these powers will give him some troubles as he has more potential than All Might's quirk.

He didn't want to make his way through punches as All Might did. He wants to have full control of the government and see things go from the shadows.

"I could have told you what happened in USJ. You don't need to use Relissa-san quirk." Rex said. Apparently, Bisha used Relissa's quirk to see the past.

"It is okay, Rex-sama. I will recover in one or two months." Relissa said with a smile.

Relissa's quirk is powerful but the charge up time is huge. She can perform quirk for just once. After that, she has to wait a month or two depending on how much power she used. It was still unclear about her quirk since it was complex. Even Rex's observation quirk didn't show any reason.

Soon they arrived at Rex's house. Rex came out of the car and took a sigh of relief. No place is better than your own home.

"Rex is that you…?" Rex and others heard a voice and saw a girl with short purple hair. She was none other than Kyoka in civilian dress.

"Yeah. Seems like me." Rex said with a smile but suddenly he was hugged by Kyoka. Rex smiled and also embraced her.

"You idiot…" Kyoka softly muttered with a soft tear.

"Whistle* Hop, hop, love birds. Let's do your thing in private." Bisha said with a whistle who was a little annoyed seeing her son so lovely-dovely.

Kyoka widened her eyes and separated from him with a crimson face.

"I-its not like that Bishamon-sama!" Kyoka said with an embarrassed face.

"Whatever, call me Bisha. I am not a hero anymore." Bisha said to Kyoka who nodded and then looked at Rex. "Rex, make something to eat. It has been a long time that I eat your or Yato's food. You can also join…"

"My name is Kyoka Jiro." Kyoka said.

"Yeah, join us. Rex can cook well." Bisha said.

"I just got discharged from hospital you know," Rex said with deadpan eyes but Bisha ignored Rex and went inside the house. "Come in. I will tell you how I got healed." Rex said holding Kyoka's hand. She nodded with a little blush and came inside.

Rex saw that their maid Ryoka was also there. He didn't need to worry about the secrecy of his laboratory since Jarvis kept them secret.

Rex then prepared lunch along with Kyoka while also explained her about nanites. Rex didn't want to portray himself as someone who doesn't trust anyone. He knew that one way or another, his quirk will be revealed. After all, pro heroes were popular for their quirks.

After the end of the day, Rex entered his room to sleep. He sat on his bed with his eyes close and start doing meditation. Blue aura soon surrounded him with ripples surrounding him.

He opened his eyes and looked at the time.

"Only an hour passed and I am feeling refreshed. Jarvis, show me the recording." Rex said.

[Yes, sir.]

Jarvis showed him his image but he found it weird since he was looking normal on the footage.

"Any activities while I was meditating?"

[Sir, your brain waves were working with full capacity without any side effects. Your heartbeat was also beating louder but I am confused. There were strange waves that were interrupting my sensors.]

Rex nodded then thought for a moment. He then read about Meta-Nantes. He didn't know what to do so start to concentrate to talk to Meta-Nanites like in the original series.

Suddenly, he was taken into a separate space. He was levitating when he saw a purple ball which had a ring around it and four more balls with different colors surrounding it.

[Welcome to the room of Meta-Nanite where you are the ruler.]
