15 Chapter 15 Recommendation Exam 1

U.A. is the #1 ranked high school for heroics and is considered as the top Hero Academy in Japan. Although it is located in Musutafu City near Shizuoka Prefecture, it was conducting its recommendation exam in main a building near the main Tokyo city.

Sebas looked at the mirror to see the figure eating ramen early in the morning.

"Nothing beats tea after dinner and ramen while being late for school~," Rex said finishing ramen. He then put down the bowl and stretching his arms.

"Sebas-san, you should find a girl and make a family. I know you may look old but ladies like strong men even if he is older."

"Thank you for the praise, Rex-sama but I am fine serving the Kinzoku family. I have dedicated my life to serve you and your family for the rest of my life." Sebas said driving the car.

"Boo! You are no fun. Say… you still have your hero license right?" Rex said changing the topic.

"Yes, though it is expired, I can renew it whenever you want, Rex-sama," Sebas said.

"Then renew it and make sure to guard mom. I also want you to acquire some information related to areas where the crime rate is high. Can you do that for me?" Rex asked.

"I will proceed as soon as possible, Rex-sama," Sebas said as he stopped the car.

"No need to hurry. There are still 4 months before the start of high school. Make sure to do this job before the U.A. festival. Also, it would be appreciated if you give me names and places of those informants."

"I will do as you say." Sebas gave a smile before driving away.

Rex looked at the hall where many teens were walking in. there 200 students who applied for the Recommended Examination all across Japan and only 4 to five will pass judging from the effectiveness of the quirk.

"Man this is great," Rex said then started to walk to the examination hall. When he was walking, he became the center of attention. Everyone was looking at Rex like he was a freak. Why? Because he was wearing a long white lab coat, below knee loose short trousers, and a loose red t-shirt underneath his lab coat. He was also wearing big nerd glasses.

"Man, I am famous wherever I go." Patting his own shoulders, he entered the examination hall and saw many people staring at him.

He shrugged his shoulder and sat down on a seat. There was still time for the written exam so he closed his eyes to meditate. He didn't require much sleep since his nanites provide sleep resistance, so he just meditates to make nanites stable.

[Everyone. The written exam will start soon. Please be prepared.]

After the announcement, he opened his eyes and focused on the question paper that was given shortly after.

'Hmm, most of the questions are childish but 3 of them are based on scenarios with a single mark? I see let's do this!'

He then answered those 3 questions and left the rest of the questions blank.

'If he fails me, I can just apply with regulars.'

After that, he closed his eyes again. He felt someone was constantly was staring at him but he couldn't care less about anyone. He was already used to being stared at.

After the written examination, all students have divided into four quarts 50 students each. They entered a big area and seated down.

"I am your examiner. My name is Ajax." A bald man with a handsome looking face said.

"This is your physical exam. We will test your speed, power, and potential of your quirks while also reading your techniques. We will divide you into a group of five."

Ajax then started to call names one by one. Rex was placed with a pretty girl in a ponytail who was staring at him from the start.

He walked towards her and asked, "Excuse me."

"Excused?" The girl stared at Rex and said.

"Is there a joke written on my back or face?" Rex asked.

"N-no." The girl hesitantly answered. She realized that Rex figured out she has been staring at him constantly.

"Is that so? Well when I ask this question to others, they say that my life itself a joke, haha-" Rex said and start laughing softly but saw the girl looking at him confusedly. "-haha… you didn't take the joke, did you?"

The girl confusedly shook her head.

Rex sighed and took his position at the starting line of the race.

"Is he the son of Yato?" A mouse looking creature asked. He was the principal of U.A. academy, Nezu.

"Yes. I suppose he is. Second son of Bisha and Yato and the prime victim of 'mechanical giant incident.'" Answered a skinny man with blond hair. He was Toshinori Yagi, also known as All Might.

"Thank goodness he decided to join for heroics. If the situation got out of control that day, it could have been worse." Nezu said.

"Yes. It affected Bisha who resigned after that incident and we lost one of the best heroes in Japan." Toshinori said with a sigh.

"Well, she is still a hero by joining the government and serving japan. You still have a sore relationship with her?"

"No, that matter was old. I still talk with her about matters regarding Pro Heroes Association."

"Great. Enemy of her is an enemy of the nation. I hoped that he didn't acquire a devilish mind." Nezu said then looked at Rex's figure who sneezed. "Judging from his attire, I think he is second Yato."

Achoo*

They looked at a distant figure of Aizawa who shuddered to hear Yato's name. They knew that Shota Aizawa had a history with Yato so they didn't discuss Yato further.

Their attention was alerted by the start of the marathon race and what happened in front of them widened their eyes.
