My Hero Academia: Blue Burn Dabi

A story of a hopeful boy, Toya Todoroki. Who against all odds wanted to be a hero. This is his journey into being a Hero. . Author's Note: This is a system fanfic, but the system will be introduced much later. Also don't expect an overpowered MC, he will eventually get there, but it's the journey that matters. The story will start in an alternate world, where Toya didn't snap and become a villain. But a vigilante/hero, and also Endeavor is a real shitbag here, not a sissy shitbag like in the manga. Another thing, in the mange Toya is around eight to ten years older then Shoto, but not here. Here Toya is only 6 years older then him. If you have any suggestions please post a review or a comment. I will try to get back ASAP. Also in future, I will add villains or heroes from Marvel, DC or even the Boys. And later on, I will add powers from other animes. But don't worry, I will balance them out. That is the reason for the tags.

Extended Prologue | Part 14

[A/N: Hey, I have to warn you guys about something. Don't overestimate Dabi's capabilities. Yes, he can with his wittiness & cunningness can take down villains, but he only took down as in was able to hold Giantomatchia for a few minutes because of his smart thinking and All-Might was there to finish the job. He still isn't the level of a pro-ranked hero, yet. His power level is lower than when he was first introduced into the MHA verse.

And even Ginatomatchia in this story got his gigantification quirk from OFA a few months ago. So he isn't strong like in the manga. But you guys don't have to think about it that much, just enjoy the story.]

Dabi ran with all the strength he had. He needed to move faster, faster than anyone. Today he would give anything, even his quirk to run a bit faster.

'Why couldn't things be just easy,' he wondered. He was almost out of breath, supporting himself with a nearby wall he started limping. But he didn't stop, he couldn't stop. He looked down to see the little girl on his lap, tightening her grip on his jacket.

Bandages could be seen wrapped around her arms and legs. 'Those fucking bastards, how could they do this to a little girl.'

Dabi gritted his teeth, holding her close to his chest. His left leg hurt real bad. And blood was still pouring down from the wound. Dragging along the uneven road.

He got around a corner, before crouching down. Placing the girl on a box. "Close your eyes," Dabi said to the little girl. The girl was shaken up and was pretty terrified, so she complied.

With a bit of difficulty, he looked down on his leg. There was a gaping hole a few inches below his ankle, to large for a bullet. He ripped off the bleeding part of his pants off, to see the wound, it didn't look good. He gritted his teeth, before wrapping the wound with his two hands before smoke started coming off.

A painful grunt escaped his throat. Why did he still have skin on his legs, he wondered. It would have been far less painful if it wasn't there.

The bleeding is stopped, but the damage is too much. With how bad it hurt, he was sure the bone was fractured. He looked around for something.

They were in a small alleyway, and this area was mostly abandoned. And it was also nighttime. The police would get here a bit too late. So he needed to buy some time. And for best results, get out from here. He looked around for anything the could be useful.

A few trashcans, broken bottles, and garbages that was all he could see. There was also a metal stair that led to the roof, and that caught his eye.

Thinking of something, he grabbed the rusty metal bars attached to the stairs, pulling them off with his hands, ripping it off the concrete. He took three bars that were still attached together.

And he placed them horizontally on his left leg, bending them around his leg, to make a makeshift support for his leg. It was a bit of awkward walking with this, but it lessened his pain. And he ripped a part of his jacket from the bottom, wrapping it around the metal bars to hold them in place. That should do for now.

He heard a gasp, moving his head towards the girl, who looked at his wound with horror. Even with the moonlight, one could see the blood on the floor. "A-Are you okay?"

Dabi forced a smile, "I-I am fine. But we still need to move. So, please hold on to me, tightly. Okay?" He said, "And whatever happens don't let go.

The girl nodded, as Dabi forced himself up, gently picking up the girl. His leg hurt like, hell, but he bared it. The bleeding was stopped and he almost had a makeshift support for his leg, that would do for now.

Before moving he ripped another portion of his jacket off, tieing it around the girl —who was clinging on his chest— so that she wouldn't fall off.

Before he could think about anything else, the ground shook. And that was his cue. He held the girl tight near his chest, before running out of the alleyway.

Just as he did, the building behind him, twisted in weird ways as spikes came out of it, and it started following them. He needed to get away from those things, previously one of them was able to penetrate his legs. And that was the reason behind his wound.

Dabi clicked his tongue, spinning around, crouching down, his hands already on the floor. The ground in front erupted in blue flames, just before the spikes could hit him. It melted the concrete spikes before they could get near. Burning most things to ashes.

But just to be safe, he jumped back. His breathing was ragged. He was almost out of energy. So he needed to act fast. But for now, he moved his legs, running.
