"Yeah, I am sure. Just change it before I change my mind." He said, 'At least, it's better than being a villain.' Toya thought, he was still in his hospital bed. He would leave today. He wasn't sure how he would get stronger, but as the system said, he needed to clear dungeons. But even a C rank dungeon was at least 1000$. That kind of money would need time to gather in a legal way. Time that he didn't have.

After defeating Muscular, Toya gained leveled up and then he had a total of 3 points that could be used to level up his skills. The system recommended to level up his Appraisal with one and Heat Resistance with his points. Surprisingly adding two points to Heat-Resistance made it jump up to three levels.

And having LV. 7 Heat Resistance was no joke. He could barely feel any pain from his flames. Heck, he was damn sure, he could use some of his strongest moves without any setbacks.

Toya knew just him being able to use his fires without the heating issue would make him several times stronger, so he was happy with the results. But it also meant he would soon need to change his fighting style.

Because of his flames, which burned him if used unwisely, he was more of a long-range fighter and he was lacking the close-quarters department. The only reason he won with Muscular was a mix between Luck and that man's stupidity. His fire was a natural weakness for Muscular's quirk. But Toya's future enemies would be strong and smart, so they would likely try to exploit his certain weakness.

[Congratulations, on choosing your profession. Now that you have chosen a path, you need to get officially recognized.] A new green window popped up.

'Wow, that's a lot of Exp. So that's what you meant it would be easier to get stronger, if I chose a different path than a hero.' Toya said, but looking at the time limit and penalties, he knew it would be hard. 'But at least, I won't be shackled by those stupid hero rules. Also, this way, I would earn points for defeating both Heroes and Villains alike.'

'Yes that's true.' The system said, 'While there is nothing wrong with you being a hero. But the system wouldn't be upgraded until you got your hero license, and become an official hero. And even when you got your license, you would have to look out for hero politics, making it harder for your to get stronger.

'And to be a villain, anti-hero, or a vigilante. You don't need official recognition. And it's much easier since, no so-called self-righteous rules that you would have to follow.'

'Well, you don't have to be a hero to save people.' Toya said, saying the words that he almost forgot.

'I agree.' It said, 'You know what they say, With greater power comes great responsibilities. If people lived by that rule, the world would be a better place.'

Hearing those old words made a smile come to Toya's face. When he was a kid, his mother used to read along those old comics, it was one of his favorite lines from Spider-man. Thinking about his mother made him homesick, so he avoided it.

'System, you said clearing out dungeon is the best way to level up. Aren't there any other ways? I mean, defeating Muscular gave me a good amount of experience.'

'It isn't that easy, finding villains like Muscular would be almost impossible for you in this short span of time.' System said, 'Unless of course, you want to attack a prison to fight them.'

'Please say that was sarcasm.'

'…'

'…'

'Moving on, if you go for powerful foes, right of the bat, not only will the Villains hunt for you, the Heroes will as well. There is a reason why vigilantism is a crime.'

'But, I can barely buy a C-Rank dungeon, with the money I have.' Toya said, even though for his current abilities C-Rank dungeons were quite the hassle, the problem was with the money problem, above C-Rank was all way to pricey.'

'One step at a time host. One step at a time.'

Toya rolled his eyes, with how the system acted, he wouldn't be surprised if it told him to rob the central bank to get money. Heck, it could even give a quest for that.

'Come on dude, have some faith in me.' The system said, 'I won't do that… not now at least.' It said the last part which was barely audible to Toya.

'I will act as if I didn't hear that.' Toya then stood up from his bed. It was already midnight. From the room window, he could see the full-moon clearly. It gave a blue hue, it was beautiful.

'Well, get your ass moving.' The system said, 'Night is the best time to beat up lingering villains and gain some extra Exp.'

'Well, time to be a hero… no an Anti-Hero.'

Toya decided to buy the C-Rank Dungeon key in the morning. The reason was simple. He was a couple of dollars short, and beating up villains was an easy way to gain money.

He won't be retuning to the hospital anymore. No need to live in the shadows anymore. It was the right thing to do. And of course, it would be hard. But nobody said, it would be easy.
