a lesson of crimes:

third person pov: the second event for the provisional hero licenses exam has finally ended, now the students are waiting for the results to be given along with the licenses to see who passed

readers pov:

ochako: y/n-chan are you nervous about the results

y/n: now that i think of it.. (smiles) i am but at the same time i'm not. the people that i helped gave me nice feedback during the exam and some tips so i'm confident about the results

ochako: really, so that means you're likely to get a license

y/n: (smiles while blushing a bit) you can say that but i'm sure you will too, with that cheery personality of yours you're likely to get one plus your quirk

ochako: (smiles widely) thanks y/n-chan

y/n: no problem ocha-chan

readers thoughts: but the provisional licenses exam was a bit like the practice rescue we did a few weeks ago before the villain attack

(then it was time for the results...)

flashback to a few weeks ago: "extra classes during the break"...............

readers pov:

mr. aizawa: we'll be running this course multiple times with small groups from your class today it'll be the seven of you, just so you know this will be harder than a regular class. prepare yourselves

readers thoughts: (curious) is it some type of rescue practice like the other lessons we have

continue mr. aizawa; in this master class you'll be tasked with innocent bystanders and capturing a villain

y/n: so it's some type of rescue mission but with a villain involved sir

mr. aizawa: yes

ochako and izuku: we're not just studying but we're playing heroes (yells excitedly)

mr. aizawa: this should be obvious but villains commit many different types of crime. you seven will dispatch to a scene and we'll need to determine what happened there, whether or not a villain was actually at fault whether or not you should fight. we will be judging your ability to asses the situation as well as how well you defuse it. welcome your instructors

(then the door opens... revealing)

all might: i am here sneaking in through the back door

izuku: all mights teaching us

ochako: you're looking extra muscley today yeah

y/n: (smiles cheerfully) if he's teaching us then that means we'll be doing something really interesting today

time skip to crime scene.........

readers pov:

izuku: i see cardboard police cutouts

lida: this must be where the crime is taking place

y/n: how should we search the crime scene

mr. aizawa: i'll brief you on the situation. there's been an attacking in this jewelry store the employees and the customers have been taken hostage and are barricaded inside. the number of villains and bystanders is unknown

y/n: (frowns due to confusion) unknown. that's tricky

mr. aizawa: as pro heroes you've been asked by the police to intervene and resolve this incident to the best of your abilities. with that let the capture training begin.

lida: ok what's our first move

izuku: that's easy first we need to figure out how many villains and hostages are there inside

bakugou: uraraka and kim you both go

y/n and ochako: huh

y/n: all by ourselves

bakugou: if we all run in then the villains will notice us but you and y/n can float to the top window and if kim has any tricks she'll be there for extra assistance

y/n: hmm you do have a point

ochako: then it's settle y/n and i will go

y/n: yeah (determined)

tsuyu: isn't that dangerous

todoroki: it is but we can distract the villains (then todoroki dials a number on his phone)

all might: who is this the fuzz

todoroki: all mights pretending to be the villain. i'm a pro hero and you are

author note: i liked this part because todoroki was so serious and hot

all might: too smooth i'm not impress

izuku: tell us how many villains are on the left and tell us how many hostages are on the right

y/n and ochako: ok.

y/n: be careful ochako and tell me if you need help

ochako: (smiles) ok

third person pov: y/n touched the heels of her boots along with her hands and flew up in the air with ochako following behind. once they landed on the building they quickly kneeled to the ground to not get caught while investigating the scene

y/n: (whispers to ochako) so there's one villain and....

ochako: (whispers) three hostages

y/n: ok, show izuku the numbers ochako-chan

lida: nice uraraka and kim stay there wait for us (whispers)

(ochako and y/n then spot the villain so they quickly motioned for them to hide which they did before they were caught)

izuku: it's all might.. i mean the bad guy

todoroki: he's checking to make sure that everyone's gone

tsuyu: in that case we need to stay hidden, we can't put those hostages in danger

lida: how can we help them, is there maybe a back way inside

bakugou: (frustrated) ugh this is stupid

izuku: kacchan

lida: bakugou calm down

todoroki: you're planning to charge straight in

bakugou: obviously

readers pov:

y/n: (sighs while leaning against the wall) it seems like bakugou going to blow our cover ochako

ochako: (chuckles a bit) yeah.. but at least we're working together

y/n: (nods) right. but we need to keep watch on them.. it seems like the criminal outside searching for us

ochako: yeah, we should interfere when things get a little intense

BAaaaM

(the girls get cut off by an explosion go off causing them to lose their balance but they keep their composure)

y/n: (helps ochako stand up) i think that's our que to go into the building, it seems that bakugou charged in without a single plan to carry on

ochako: (nods) yeah

y/n: i'll open the window so we can go through

third person pov: once she did that they both went in and made it to the others..

ochako: is it because of bakugou blast

bakugou: no way it wasn't even that strong weren't you watching

mr. aizawa: there's a murder weapon with a knife covered in blood

lida: the building was surrounded by police so we know that no one went in or out.

y/n: (frowns) wait. there's a cliffhanger to this situation, the hostages are still here but then that means..

lida: whoever killed the villain must be inside

izuku: huh maybe but it's still too soon to know that for sure we should listen to what they have to say first

y/n: yeah, then we can put those clues together to solve the whole murder mystery but there has to be at least a few things left behind besides the knife.

tsuyu: (ribbit)

cementos: i'm but a humble employee of this store, a villain suddenly appeared and threatened me. i handed over the jewels and he tied me up

midnight: i dropped by to pick up a few new pieces then the villain was already here, he caught me while i was too surprised too resist him

readers thoughts: (frowns) hmmm too surprised to resist him... there's a clue to the situation

present mic: yo yo my bros what it do, i came to find a farm ass piece of frosting with my hearty

y/n: (dumbfounded) i know for a fact he had nothing to do with this situation besides being on standby

tsuyu and ochako: yeah

todoroki: when the villain first arrived was this man already in the store

cementos: yes he was browsing, the beast knocked him unconscious but he was asleep for quite a long time

y/n: (fist bumps ochako and tsuyu): we were right, he had no part taken in this incident

todoroki: and when you came into the shop ma'am did you see both of these men

midnight: i didn't get a good look when i walked in but when he was tying me up i noticed these two men had been in different parts of the store

todoroki: seems like all there stories seem to fit

y/n: but still there has to be more to this than there stories, how about we search them incase they have anything that could be used for this situation

izuku: we need to take a quick look at your wallets and bags, anything interesting in there

ochako: she has a lot of credit cards and cash

izuku: same with present mic, they both had enough money on them to buy jewelry

ochako: yeah

bakugou: one of you killed this stupid villain just come out and tell us or else

y/n: bakugou i think- (get cut off by todoroki speaking up to bakugou while stepping beside her )

todoroki: what's the motive

bakugou: the stolen jewelry and plus they're just bad guys

y/n: even if that were the case isn't that a little too reckless to kill the villain when you're locked in a store..

tsuyu: you'd definitely be a suspect

todoroki: besides the criminal dropped the jewelry, yet no one took the bag

tsuyu: if that wasn't the motive then maybe

y/n: another conflict

izuku: yeah if there were to villains in here and during the attack on how they argued about how to split up the loot that could be the motive

tsuyu: if that was the case then the hostages would've heard there conversation

present mic: yo i did not hear anything

cementos: nor did i

midnight: me neither

todoroki: then you think the villain was working alone

cementos: yes

time skip to figuring out the crime.............

readers pov:

y/n: how do you know so much midoriya this is so sad... such a sad love story (crying while hugging todoroki)

tsuyu: she did that so she could help the criminal because she cared so much about him

lida: and the robber was trying to save midnight because deep in his villainous heart he loved her as well

todoroki: (pulls y/n close to his chest) they were both trying to look after each other that's ironic isn't it

izuku: i believe this is the truth behind the attack in the jewelry store

mr. aizawa: ok that's enough

readers thoughts: but i'm still mad that we received zero points during that crime scene just for missing the fact that the villain wasn't dead, they literally played with our emotions and the love story wasn't even real it was just a way for the villain to escape

announcer: here are the results of the practical exams....
