14 A Challenge

As Tony walked into the kitchen, he washed the pot thoroughly and placed them on the stove. He barely had any experience in cooking but he forced himself to recall how to cook the curry Theresa always prepared. Right beside him, Selena wore a pink apron she tied it behind her neck.

Alex nodded.

Tony clenched his teeth. His eyes were still as he stared at her. Damn it! He would b totally screwed if Theresa were to knew about this. And he was hesitant to answer, he stuttered from nervousness. "Uh su-su-sure."

Serena then looked away with an annoyed snort. "As I thought."

Alex butted in between them. "Big Sis, what are you two talking about? Can I join?"

Serena's belligerent look turned casual and friendly, she chuckled with a light tone. "Nothing, we are talking about casual sibling stuff."

Tony grinned, being thankful he was born in Alabama of all the places. But this was still a challenge that he needed to overcome. There were many things at stake here after all that he couldn't afford to lose.

When the food was done cooking they then ate around the table. As he consumed his food he was thinking about how he could win against her. Since this would be bad if he ever lost. He wasn't sure how long he could nut before he would drop dead. Even if he survived, Theresa would dig him a grave somewhere.

"What should I do?" He scratched his head.
