Chapter 1
There I laid, on my bed compensating whether or not I should even bother going to school, let alone even being alive anymore. "*sigh* I probably should go so Mingyu hyung doesn't have to drag me out of bed and be late for work again..." I then got out of bed and went to go and get ready for this hell known as school, it wasn't like I was getting bullied or anything, I just hated everyone there. Basically all the girls there were sluts and all the guys were all douche bags and the teachers and principal were all too blind and death to notice any actual problems going on. Like if you were getting beat up in the middle of class they wouldn't notice it but if your phone dropped out of your pocket and you went to go and pick it up they would give you detention or if a random piece of paper were to fall off your desk they would yell at you.
I finished getting ready and was about to go leave my room when I saw a picture of my parents and grandmother, I picked up the photo frame and stared at it for a while "I wish you were here granny..." I said to myself. My grandmother died about 1 month ago and ever since then my life has just been falling apart.
*FLASHBACK*
"We are here today to mourn to death of Park Jangmi, an 86-year-old woman. Park Jangmi was a mother, a wife, and a grandmother. Park Jangmi peacefully asleep in her bed when she passed away and......."
I didn't pay any attention to what the priest was saying, all I could pay attention to was my dear beloved grandmother's dead body laying down peacefully in that brown, wooden coffin about 5 metres away from me. The more I stared at her face the more I would feel like she is standing next to come, hugging me, covering me with her warmth whispering in my ear with her soft voice telling me "Don't worry my dear Jiwon, I'll always be with you. In your darkest times, I'll be there. in your brightest times, I'll be there. When things start getting tough, I'll be there. Stay strong my dear child as for your life will get better".
*END OF FLASHBACK*
At first, I believed her, but as the days go by I started to think that it was complete bullshit and that my mind is just going insane. But now I know that it was, as a matter of fact, absolutely complete bullshit.
While I was staring at the photo my bedroom door was then suddenly opened wide "Jiwon you better be u- oh great Jiwon you're up! Good to know that I didn't have to wake you up again like yesterday!" said my uncle Mingyu. "yeah your right" I replied "great, well hurry and come down and eat then go to school" he told me "yeah okay Hyung I'll be right there" I said then he closed my door and left. Mingyu is my uncle, or at least that's what I was told, I've never seen him in my entire life until 4 weeks ago when my parents had that accident.
*FLASHBACK*
I was walking home from school when my phone rang. "hello?" I said as I answered my phone "hello is this Park Jiwon?" asked what I assumed was a woman "yes this is, who is this?" I asked "this is the Central Seoul Hospital and I am calling you to tell you that your parents- Mr and Mrs Park have been in a car accident and that you need to go to the hospital now-" I hung up. That was all I needed to hear before I practically sprinted to the hospital and into the lobby. "which room is Mr Hansong and Mrs Jiwoo in?!" I asked the front lady completely out of breath. "are you Park Jiwon?" the lady asked and I replied yes as I recognized her voice as the lady over the phone. "they're in room 346 on the 3rd floor" she told me. I then thanked her and rushed to the elevator. When I reached the room that my parents were in a saw a doctor and two nurses and I asked the doctor what happened, the doctor then looked at me "who are you?" the doctor asked me "my name is Jiwon and I'm the son of those two" I replied pointing to my parents who were on two hospital beds in the room. The two nurses then exchanged sad looks and then left the room and closed the door. I looked at the doctor, puzzled "your parents were in a car accident... Your father is in a coma but... Your mother didn't make it… She died from the collision" I couldn't believe what the doctor was telling me right now. "N-no, you're L-lying!" I said hoping that is wasn't true "*sigh* I wish I was..." the doctor said, he then put his hand on my shoulder and said, "I'm very sorry for your loss" then left the room leaving me by myself...
Alone
After a week lawyer then introduced me to a man who was apparently my uncle, Kim Mingyu. The lawyer then left me with Mingyu and he talked to me for a while. He was very nice and friendly and he told me that he and my dad were brothers and told me funny and embarrassing stories when they were younger. "hahaha! Did appa really do that?!" I asked him "yup! It was even funnier watching it happen!" he replied 'wow I can't believe that this man is my uncle!... Come to think of it... I never saw him at granny's funeral?' I thought "hey hyung" "yeah, Jiwon?" "how come I never saw you at granny's funeral?" I asked him beginning to get suspicious of him "oh, I arrived really late" he told me, I examined his face trying to find any hint of him lying, but found nothing... "how come?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "while I was driving to the funeral the was a car accident and it held back traffic for like miles away" he told me acting completely fine and normal. I then have up and believed him that he was my uncle, besides, he's the only family I have left now... "by the way, you're going to be living with me now" he told me, I was surprised that he knew that I didn't have anywhere to live now, but yet again the lawyer probably told him. "OK, where do you live?" I asked him "oh, don't worry I live nearby from where your old house is so you don't have to change schools and you can easily move your stuff from your old house. There's 1 guest room but that can be your new room" he informed me "OK then..."

I then put back the photo frame and got all my stuff and went down to eat my breakfast.
