35 Infuriating Qin Feng

Fang Ke as a woman, couldn't outrun Qin Feng and the bodyguards. She didn't run far before she was caught.

"Brother Qin Feng, it was this bad woman, Su Jing, who asked me to do this. Get her, and don't let her go!" As expected, Fang Ke was screaming that it was all Su Jing's doing.

Qin Feng frowned and gestured for the bodyguards to cover Fang Ke's mouth. Qin Feng's assistant, He Qi, covered his mouth and snickered at the sight of this.

Qin Feng looked at him coldly. "What are you laughing at?"

"President Qin has been saying that this matter has something to do with Miss Su, but deep down, you don't want to believe that it was her."

He Qi had been with Qin Feng for a long time and knew Qin Feng's personality very well.

Qin Feng frowned and said angrily, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

"President Qin, don't lie to yourself. Your attitude towards Miss Su has changed a lot. It's just that you've been refusing to admit it. Otherwise, why didn't you just send her to the police station earlier? Why did you have to make a bet with her like a child? It's been a long time since I've seen you act so childish."

He Qi's analysis was spot on. Qin Feng clenched his fists and loosened them. He involuntarily shifted his gaze towards the direction of Su Jing and Gu Jue.

"If you want to care about her, then go ahead. Don't be so arrogant. Girls nowadays don't fall for the bossy alpha male's tricks anymore. They like gentle and considerate men." He Qi, who hadn't been scolded for what he said so far, became even bolder. He just compared Qin Feng to Gu Jue and revealed the fact that Qin Feng wanted to care about Su Jing.

Qin Feng glared at He Qi and said in a cold voice, "I think you've been a little carried away. You should spend more time working. Maybe don't go on your annual leave next month?"

"Huh? I'm sorry, President Qin. My bad. I was just talking nonsense. Please approve my annual leave. I haven't taken any leave for three years in a row."

"Get over there and send Fang Ke to the police station immediately. Otherwise, don't even think about taking annual leave next year."

Qin Feng turned his back, but there was no anger on his face. If one looked carefully, one would see a faint smile at the corner of his mouth.

Gu Jue had just helped Su Jing up when Qin Feng walked over.

Qin Feng placed his hands behind his back and asked in a cold voice, "How are you? Are you going to die anytime soon?"

"Can you speak nicely?"

Gu Jue was so mad that he wanted to punch him, but Su Jing stopped him. She was already used to Qin Feng being mean.

"Thanks to President Qin, I'm not going to die yet. You've caught Fang Ke, right?" Su Jing asked the question that she was most concerned about.

Qin Feng nodded, "Hmm. Go to the hospital for a checkup. Don't try to sue the company later for your injury."

Qin Feng was obviously concerned about Su Jing, but whatever he said turned into sarcasm and mockery. 

"Ha, don't worry. The Su family can still afford the medical fees." Su Jing sneered as she pulled out her phone and played the recording of her conversation with Fang Ke.

Qin Feng's expression didn't change much. It seemed he had expected this outcome.

"I will hand this recording and the previous recording of my conversation with Fang Ke to the police to prove my innocence. I hope President Qin can fulfill your promise and apologize to me in front of everyone in the office tomorrow."

Su Jing put away her phone and reminded Qin Feng not to forget his promise.

Qin Feng's face darkened when he heard this. Instead of replying to Su Jing, he showed Gu Jue the message that Su Jing had sent him earlier.

Qin Feng's eyes were full of pride, "When she was in danger, the first thing she thought of was to inform me, not you. Do you still believe her nonsense about letting me go?"

Gu Jue's expression froze as he pursed his lips.

"I only informed you because you were close by, and I wanted to prove to you that Fang Ke and I are not accomplices. Please don't try to sow discord between Gu Jue and me."

Su Jing noticed that Gu Jue did not look happy and quickly explained.

Qin Feng walked over and lifted Su Jing's chin. His voice was deep and seductive, "The first person that comes to mind in times of danger is the person you care about the most. Su Jing, stop lying to yourself."

Gu Jue knocked Qin Feng's hand away and shielded Su Jing behind him. He didn't say anything, but his eyes betrayed his true feelings— he was furious!
