Glossary of Terms(?)

This would be where I put some terms that I plan on using for the novel~

.

.

.

Spiritual Plane - The dimensional plane that acts like Remnant's inner world. This is where the 3 other continents are, Asgard, the spirit continent, Tartarus, the devil continent, and Hell, the demon continent.

Mortal Plane - Refers to the Remnant that everyone knows and loves(or hates).

Asgard - It is where the spirits' main civilization is located at.

Tartarus - it is where the devil's main civilization is located at.

Hell - It is where the demon's first "spawning point" is located at.

Spirits - The beings that are formed by nature. They are elementals that gained form. Through the Aurelius family, they have "regressed" and most now have "human" bodies. Although rare, there are spirits that are still apparitions through natural elemental evolution. Classified through their connection to the elements.

Devils - The beings that are formed by the gods as the experimental "humans". The prototype race, or the royalties, are the kind that looks like humans with bat wings. Classified through their obsession with contracts.

Demons - Otherworldly beings that invaded the Spiritual Plane when the brother Gods left Remnant. Classified through their demonic aura and malicious behavior. The way they formed is unknown.

Beastmen - The original faunus. Instead of 1 animal trait, they possess 2, sometimes 3 depending on their race(Animal ears, tails, horns, etc.). They can be classified either as Spirits or Demons depending on where they were born(similar to nationality).

Bloodline Activation- Is the activation of an individuals bloodline ability. Devils and Beastmen can use this to strengthen themselves and be more in tune with nature. Devils gain another pair of wings and strengthened magic perception, efficiency, and speed of forming magic circles;Beastmen transform into their clan's beast type that can be bipedal or not depending on their race(Turning into furries); with easier use of Aura regarding it's efficiency and "fluidity". For beastmen, it is a rare even for them to have a full bloodline transformation, as most can only do partial transformations like enhanced strength on certain body parts and/or slight body hair/scaly skin growth, while those who can do full transformations will morph with unique abilities i.e. wolves with full transformation can become werewolves, with enhanced animal abilities, as well as the body and Aura strength, is enhanced during nights, especially in the time of a full moon.

Mana - If aura is the manifestation of the soul, then mana is the manifestation of nature. The reason why the humans and faunus of the Mortal Plane can't use it is because they can no longer be in tune with nature's powers, except for the maidens(the reason why Ozpin still has magic is because it is stored in his soul for his reincarnations and usage, until there is none left).

Ki Aura - It is the manipulation of Aura to enhance the body and imbue other inanimate objects at hand to perform minor magic-like "gimmicks"(according to mages) like Weapon Qi Aura Techniques used to make an invisible wind blade projectile.

Magic - The manipulation of Mana to manifest phenomenon. Mostly used to make spells or used to form runes for crafting, blacksmithing, or formations.

Magic Circle - The structure or construct of a spell that can be altered to bring about the desired effect of casting said spell.

Runes - The process of engraving symbols to imbue magic to a certain object or make formations.
