"Probably because it increases the power of the item, it should be the reason for its cost," he mumbled.

Thankfully, he got a bountiful haul. His current balance is 450. He would probably get a total of 500 Trade Points if he traded all the meat. But he had to keep some. Regardless, spending 150 for the [Smite] ability could still leave him with 300 points.
