"What a blunder!"

A random person picked himself up and said in a distant voice, "U-u-um, what?"

The battle that just happened does not match the strength that people should have since they weren't even Magic Knights yet.

"Intermediate Magic Knights?" Yami muttered, "Are they, spies?"

'Who are they?' Charlotte thought, 'One has dark magic? Similar to Yami's but there is something different about it that I can't tell. Another has strong fire magic that seems mysterious, one has gravity and the other has lightning. The one I am wary of most is the one that used that white beam and destroyed obliterated a part of the stadium.'

All of the captains have the same thoughts as Charlotte and the one question was banging in their heads,

'They are also all friends and came together?!'

Despite all of their surprising questions about the group down below, they were also wondering if they could possibly be spies from another kingdom.

Baal and Levi put away their grimoires in their grimoire holder and went back to their group.

"Don't you guys think you went overboard?" Hanabi scolded.

I waved my hand, "No. We only used basic attacks. It's fine."

"Um, guys. You do know everyone is staring at us." Hori weakly chuckled.

"Baal and Levi are really strong and they were surprised that they had so much power," Yato said sternly unbefitting of his character.

"I am going to fight." Yato declared.

Yato picked a random person, and everyone felt bad for this poor guy getting picked by Yato.

"Is Yato okay? He seems a bit weird." I asked wondering why Yato was acting a bit different.

"I heard him say something to himself about this reminding him of his past," Hanabi answered.

I put my finger on my chin, "Come to think of it, Yato never really told us his past, did he?"

We all looked at Yato who is about to fight.

"U-um, please go easy on me." A man with messy brown hair and brown eyes said weakly.

Yato didn't say anything and stared at the man.

The man gets a little frightened by Yato's stare and started up a spell. "[Earth Spikes]"

Brown spikes started popping out from the ground attacking Yato. Yato turned his body a little to dodge the first spike coming at him then jumped on the second.

Another spike attacks Yato and Yato used the earth spike to jump higher into the air.

Yato's grimoire started flipping like crazy in the air and he just stared at the man with his blue eyes.

Yato's grimoire was unlike every single one that has been seen. It was transparent, like glass with some blue X marks on it. It has a light gray aura with some blue specks in it.

The time Yato was in the air felt like a very long time to the man. Yato put his hands in the air and made a finger gun and muttered,

"[Particle Bullet]"

A small bullet that was light gray with some blue and was 2 inches long shot out straight at the man. The bullet was too fast for the man to see but fortunately, the bullet only scraped the man's cheek.

The man stood still for 5 seconds and then fell back gasping, "I almost died. I almost died." He repeated over and over again.

Yato landed on the ground and came out of his weird mood, "Oh man." Yato scratched his head and walked toward the collapsed man, "Sorry, are you alright?" He said apologetically and showed a bright smile.

The man scurried back a little and got up. He ran out of the stadium crying. Yato just looked at that sight with shocked eyes and then it turned into a sorry look.

He walked back to the group chat members with his head dropped down as if he was ashamed that he showed such a sight.

"It's alright Yato. We all have our moments." I said with a smile.

Everyone just crossed their arms and nodded.

A couple more fights passed but none had the same intensity as mine and Levi's fight and none was as overbearing as Yato's fight.

Now it was Hanabi's turn. Seeing that she was a part of our group, everyone just turned their head away hoping they would not have to fight her.

While most people have picked the person they were fighting, people that were not picked are able to challenge anyone.

Hanabi picked a man named Jeff. Jeff had Reinforcement magic and wielded a greatsword.

Jeff looked like he was a noble and he had green hair that was combed to the side with blue eyes.

"Ho ho. You picked the great noble me. I might not be able to defeat you seeing that you are from that weird group, this noble man can for sure give you a challenge the people from the boonies wouldn't."

Hanabi just looked at him with deadpan eyes. 'My luck. I just had to pick a fool like him.'

The man pointed his greatsword at Hanabi and got in his stance. Likewise, Hanabi also got into her fighting stance.

Hanabi's grimoire looked like a new grimoire that was just made. The grimoire was maroon color, but the outline of the grimoire had cyan color zig zags. The grimoire also has a cyan aura surrounding her grimoire.

Jeff muttered, "[Weapon Reinforcement]"

Jeff rushed at Hanabi and swung the greatsword horizontally. The power that as in the strike was powerful enough to create a huge gust of wind.

Hanabi backed up a little and used gravity magic to lighten herself and attacked.

"[Weightless]"

Jeff swung his greatsword at her, but Hanabi jumped up and stepped on the greatsword. She stretched out her hand toward Jeff's face and smashed it to the ground.

"Ugh" Jeff's head hit the ground hard, and Hanabi's hand was still on his face. Jeff, having a genius idea to get out of this situation licked Hanabi's hand.

"UGH!" Hanabi immediately took her hands off his face and backed away.

"HO HO. This noble man thinks you are not really that strong." Jeff laughed and licked his lips. It doesn't seem he remembered he just got his ass handed to him a second ago.

Hanabi glared at jeff with disgust, she raised her hand up and said, "[World Gravity Times 2]"

Jeff felt a huge amount of pressure on him, "[Leg Strength Boost]"

He reinforced himself to lighten up the pressure on him.

Hanabi, not letting up, "[World Gravity Times 3]"

Jeff trying to still stay strong, slowly walked to Hanabi.

"[World Gravity Times 4]" Jeff felt immense pressure on him and his legs gave up. He got pressured on the floor while his body was starting to bleed from the pressure.

"I-I-I sur----render." After saying that, Hanabi took out the gravity pressure and Jeff passed out.

After that battle, Hanabi went back to the group chat members.

"Good job Hanabi!" Hori cheered.

"Yeah, you destroyed him." Yato laughed a bit.

"You did good Hanabi." I congratulated.

"Good job," Levi said.

Hanabi smiled and thanked everybody, "Thank you, everybody."

"I guess I'll go," Hori said.

"Good luck." I wished her.

Everyone wished her good luck and Hori went on to fight.

"I will fight you!" A woman with blue hair and black eyes announced. The woman was said to be quite beautiful.

Everyone was surprised since Hori was part of the monster group and they wondered what this crazy woman was thinking.

"I am Clinica." She introduced.

"I am Hori Kyouko. Nice to meet you." Hori said in a cheerful tone and stretched out her hand.

The woman named Clinica looked at the hand and smacked it. "How dare you want to shake my hand," Clinica said arrogantly. "I am a noblewoman."

Hori seemed a bit taken aback by this impoliteness and just nodded her head and took a step back to get in her fighting position.

Clinica did the same. 'I picked her since she looked the youngest and most innocent. I also saw her magic is fire magic and since I have water magic, I can counter her and win easily. If I can defeat a member of that monster group, I will get more famous!'

They took out their grimoires and the grimoires floated up and started flipping.

The fight has started!

Hori muttered, "[Sun Spear]"

A huge flaming spear appeared on top of Hori's head and shot out toward Clinica.

Clinica shouted, "[Water Spring of Protection]"

A huge water flat circle appeared to stop Hori's spear.

"[Ocean's Last Call]!" A big water ball accumulated in the air and shot toward Hori.

"[Dash of Fire]" Hori's feet got on fire and Hori dodged the huge water ball and ran toward Clinica.

Clinica panicked and shouted, "[Water Spring of Protection]"

Hori saw the huge flat circle made of water and slid on the outside and didn't touch the circle. Hori got in front of Clinica, and a ball of fire appeared in her hand and struck her right in the stomach.

"NOOOO!" Clinica shouted in despair.

PSSSSS

Clinica got sent flying back unconscious with a burn mark on her stomach.

"Oh! I-I'm sorry." Hori, realizing that she hurt another person really bad that she went unconscious made her worried.

'I was too used to fighting Baal and the rest and going all out. What a blunder!' Hori scolded herself.

Sorry if I couldn't make the fight more enjoyable as I am still very very inexperienced in writing fights, but I tried my best Haha. Hopefully, I would get better as I continue to write.
