An Awkward Question

Alan was having his breakfast along with Ashley and Victoria. They sat on each side beside him.

The girls were pestering him to eat more, he could feel his parents and everyone looking at him with a weird smile on their faces.

'Why are they looking at me?' Alan wondered as he glanced at everyone seated at the dining table.

It was not just the Carter family but the special guests, it was The Wilson and The Johnson family.

They were not having their breakfast instead they kept glaring at the Trouple.

Actually, the three women were discussing something and laughing among themselves until Alan and the girls entered.

The three women were Catherine, Lily and July Wilson.

July Wilson was Victoria's mom; she was a beautiful lady with a warming presence around her just like Victoria. She was a fire mage with four mana circles. She fell in love with Adam and married him.

'Maybe they were just curious?' Alan thought to himself as he ate the bread Victoria fed him.

But Victoria and Ashley seem to be in a good mood, no there are in a great mood since morning.

Alan could feel a change in the way they talk to each other, there seems to be no jealousy between them.

Victoria and Ashley didn't challenge who is going to feed Alan. They were chatting and laughing with each other more than Alan.

Actually, Alan was greeted with a surprise when he woke up. He tried to recall the scene when Victoria and Ashley came into his room wanting to wake him up, they were actually holding hands.

Alan suddenly shivered as he remembered the scene of them holding hands.

'Don't tell me they are lesb-'

His thought was interrupted by Catherine who broke the silence first.

"Alan did you have a wonderful time last night" she spoke with the same weird smile on her face which showed a hint of curiosity.

Sighed!

Anyone could tell what his mom was so curious about.

"Yes, Mom we had a peaceful sleep last night" Alan spoke as glanced at the girls and flashed a smile

"And if you want to know, more ask the girls".

All the women started giggling as they sat opposite the Trouple and sent their husbands to sit together.

After giggling and whispering among themselves for a while they looked at their daughters with an inquisitive smile.

They spammed their daughters with questions.

"How was your first experience?" "How are you walking today?" "Was it very painful?" "I should have given you some tips"

Victoria and Ashley looked puzzled, after pondering for some seconds Victoria answered with a pleasant smile" It was the best experience ever"

"Yes, it was very delicious, I loved it" Ashley spoke in a cheerful tone as she liked her lips.

An immediate silence fell.

Three men glared at Alan with a dry look on their faces.

The three women were giggling and whispering among themselves. They looked like they were celebrating something.

Alan was just enjoying the show.

Cough!

The three cleared the thought and asked in harmony with a curious face "How big was it?"

Alan facepalmed himself as soon as they asked this question, he knew they would ask something stupid but not this.

The three men were just in shock, they didn't know how to react to their wife's stupid question.

Both Victoria and Ashley were thinking hard about the question.

Alan could feel the air around him heating up he turned to the girls. Both Victoria and Ashley had their faces beat red, hot fumes seemed to be coming out of their head. He was able to hear their heartbeats so clearly.

'Oh, they have finally realized'

They didn't know how to answer this question.

Victoria has seen Alan naked once when they were seven-year-old. She felt his little brother looked big for a kid who was just seven.

'How big could it be now' Victoria felt more embarrassed as she questioned herself.

They won't be able to look into Alan's eyes now.

In this world women give their virginity to the man they love, some do it after they marry while some do it before.

If Alan wanted, he could have had both of them, but he had his own morals. he didn't want them to do it until they are confident in their decision.

He wanted to know more about each one. Each though both of them liked him, he still felt guilty for some reason.

He didn't want to have a relationship with one and hurt the other.

Alan quickly came to their rescue "We didn't do anything of that sort" said with a gentle smile on his face to the three women sitting in front of him.

Anna walked in "Alan, the blacksmith is here, I have asked him to wait in the hall"

Alan got up from his seat and walked out with Anna.

Alan walked to the main hall as anna followed closely behind him.

Alan quickly turned his hair black. he found out he was able to turn his hair colour back and forth anytime he wanted. He just nodded to pass his mana to his hair. It was that simple.

As soon as he entered the hall there was a dwarf woman who sat on the couch. She looked young.

She wore a normal shirt and pants with a knife holder on the side. She had a well-defined body revealing some of her features.

Dwarfs were the best when it came to making weapons, their products were always of the best quality even though they were high-priced.

Alan remembered anna explaining about the various species other than humans living in this world.

This world was split into seven continents. Each continent was ruled by different species.

There were humans, dragons, elves, Demons, Dwarfs, Atlanteans and Beast men.

Dwarfs lived in the smallest continent compared to others. Their population were less compared to the other species.

As soon as she saw Alan walk in, she looked surprised for a second and then greeted him.

"I am Gagola, I am happy to see Master Alan" she introduced herself with a gentle smile.

"I am Alan Carter, please sit" Alan sat in front of her after introducing himself.

"May I know what Master Alan wants from me" she continued "I have come to the human continent only because of the duke"

Gagola's family has sworn alliance with the Carter's house since William saved the dwarfs from the demons when they were attacked. No one came to their rescue except the duke. If not for William

Gagola's whole village would have been wiped out of existence.

Before all the species had a good relationship with each other except the demons and the dragons.

The dragons never tried to have a relationship with any species. They were very proud of themselves since they were very strong compared to the other species. Their magic was very powerful. They stayed within their territory.

But now all the species were hostile against each other, it began exactly a hundred years ago when the demons who remained in their territory started creating chaos on other continents.

They had spies on all the continents. Their magic was black and evil. that's how they were described.

The dwarfs were not allowed to interact or help any other species after they realized demons could change appearances. they wanted to just protect themselves. If any dwarves disobeyed this law they were framed as traitors and killed immediately.

Realizing the situation, she was in Alan tried to calm her.

"Thank you Gagola"

"I want you to make me a weapon, it should be well balanced and –"

"Master Alan" Gagola quickly interrupted him. She knew what Alan wanted before he could tell her. What else would a noble call a blacksmith for? A Weapon right?

Suddenly something came out of her ring and landed on her palm.

'Was it the dimensional storage anna mentioned'

Alan's eyes shined brightly with curiosity

Gagola opened her palm and there was I ring.

"Here Master Alan, please take this" Gagola handed the ring to Alan.

Alan looked closely at the ring. It was black with some inscriptions written on it.

"Please give it a drop of blood to make it your own"

Alan wore it on his right middle finger. without any questions borrowed a knife from Anna and left a drop of blood on the ring. The inscriptions on the ring glowed golden and went back to normal.

"Now you are the master of the ring" she continued "Imagine the weapon you want as your pass your mana through it" Gagola instructed.

Alan imagined a small knife. The ring immediately melted into a black liquid and moved towards Alan's hands.

It was reshaped into a small black knife with golden inscriptions on its sides.

It looked so sharp.

Alan now imagined a katana

Zing...

A long black katana

"Wow!"

"I love this" Alan spoke honestly.

'What about gloves?' Alan wondered with curiosity.

Alan imagined gloves on both hands, a part of the black liquid moved to his other hand and formed a black glove with sharp spikes on his knuckles as he imagined.

'Hehe'

Alan wanted to control his laughter but he couldn't

The hall rang with Alan's crazy laugh. He didn't want to show his crazy side to Gagola.

"It's awesome"

Gagola quickly got up from her seat.

"Then I guess my business here is finished," Gagola said in a professional tone.

"Where did you get this ring?" Alan asked curiously since dwarfs were only excellent at creating weapons. when it came to magic, they were very weak.

There was no way a dwarf could create a ring of this caliber.

"I actually found it in an underground dungeon near the dragon continent, I was there to mine iron ores when I accidentally found this in one of the ores"

It was an artifact. An artifact would never leave its master unless its master is dead or the artifact itself is destroyed.

"No, I guess you have a job" Alan spoke with a sly smile on his face.

Anna quickly handed him a rolled paper.

"Please take a look at this" Alan said as he handed over a paper to Gagola.

She looked shocked when she saw what was on the paper.

"What is this, it looks different"

"It's called a shotgun" Alan held the shotgun in his hand.

He wanted to make modern guns.

But…

He wanted to know if Gagola could be trusted, he wants to test Gagola with this small job. Even if her family had sworn their alliance to the Carter family. He didn't want to be betrayed again like his past life.

Alan wanted to gift the guns to Ashley and Victoria.

"These are called bullets," Alan said as he pointed towards them on the paper "Here I have described the process of making the gun powder"

Everything is written in detail in the paper which he gave Gagola.

"Ok, I will take the job" Gagola spoke in a confident tone and got up from her seat ""I Will finish it In a month" and she left with a maid sending her off.

Alan knew she would accept, dwarfs always loved creating something new and challenged themselves to make it to the best of their ability. This character was in their blood.

Alan relaxed and remembered the party they were having today.

Alan looked at anna " Today, it's going to be fun" He said with an excited smirk on his face.
