3 The Dodgeball Match

I took Remi to each of the clubs, the principal's office, the different classes, the schoolyard, the pool, and the cafeteria. Lastly, I took Remi to the roof,"The final spot is the roof. Not many students come up her so, it's usually isolated." I said."Why don't students come up here? The view's beautiful" Remi said. There was a rumor that a ghost haunts the roof. Thanks to Rin, who forgot her bag and decided to go to school at night to get her bag back!"Many students believed that the roof is haunted," I said."H-haunted?!" Remi yelped. I can tell that she didn't want to be up here."Come in let's go back to class," I said with a sigh. Remi and I got back to class. We still had some time left during the lunch break."Did you bring your lunch?" I asked."H-heh I forgot it at home," Remi replied."You can have mine," I said."No, that's your lunch" Remi said quickly. Then, her stomach growled. I looked at her."Here you need to eat," I said."Thanks, I'll pay you back." Remi said. The lunch was nothing really special, it was a roasted lamb made by our families chef, fresh vegetables that are cooked decently, and by the side is rice. Then, I then walked to the student council office after giving Remi my lunch. Akane, Bunko, Chiharu, Daichi, and Ena. Looks like most of the student council members are here."Hello, president," Ena yelled."Calm down Ena, now I will assign where you are monitoring. We're going to be in pairs. Ena and Daichi, Bunko and Chiharu, Akane and I. Ena and Daichi will overlook the first and second floor. Bunko and Chiharu will overlook the schoolyard and the gymnasium. Akane and I are going to watch over the third floor and the roof," I announced. The other two groups seemed happy to not get assigned to watch the roof. They still seem to believe the rumor."Come on Akane," I said. Akane walked with me and we went everywhere on the third floor. There was nothing much, students, were running in the halls, confiscating items basically nothing of interest. Though a lot of students looked at me and Akane when she held my hand. Akane asked to hold my hand since we were walking together. I had no reason to not hold hands so, I agreed.

After lunch, we had PE(Physical Education). The problem is that it was really sunny outside. And Vampires don't really burn up in the sub-light but, their strength will slowly weaken. In their weakened form, Vampires are still stronger than humans. The girls and boys separated and went to the changing rooms. I took off my uniform, and everyone stared at me."Gin you look more beautiful," Akane whispered. Weird, is Akane trying to flirt? This doesn't seem like her usual self...."Class today you need to do long jumps after that is the PE Test, when we're done, dodgeball," sensei yelled. Everyone had one try to jump as far as the could. And again, Rin and I both got the highest."Oh my gosh, they are like twins," a girl said. Of course, we are twins, Rin and I aren't thought to be twins because we have different personalities."Run as much laps as you can students!" sensei yelled."Ready?Set.GO." sensei yelled. The first group, including Rin, Akane, Ena, me and some other people ran. Leading the way was me and Rin. Rin tried to push me to get me off balance. Instead, I slowed down and Rin fell back. And I take the lead again. Rin still catches up."Gina and Rin you both tied for first place!" Sensei said. Now, we had to play dodgeball. In any sports usually, Rin and I are always competitive. I didn't think I can last longer since the heat was kinda getting to me. But, I only need to play one more round of dodgeball and beat Rin. We were assigned, teams. Bunko was with me and so was Akane. Rin started off and threw the ball straight at me. The throw was a bit hard to stop. Now, I know that Rin is aiming at me. So, now I need to take out her teammates making her the only one left. Being the last one means that she is vulnerable on all sides. I then threw the ball to the girl next to Rin. It hit her face! She had to be sent to the infirmary ."Sorry sorry sorry," I repeated to the girl."It's fine," she replied. We went back to the game. We kept playing until it was 2vs2. It was Rin and Azumi, one of her friends versus me and Akane. Akane threw the ball and hit Azumi. Then, Rin got the ball and aimed at me. I was worn out by both exhaustion and the sunlight. I caught the ball. My vision started to blur. I had to just had to hit Rin to win. I threw the ball with the last ounce of strength I had. The ball pushed Rin back but, didn't hit her. I knew that Rin's going to win. Then, I fainted. The last thing I heard was Akane asking if I was okay.

When I woke up."Where am I?," I asked."You're at the infirmary. You had a heat stroke." Akane replied."A heat stroke?," I mumbled. No wonder my body felt like it's boiling up."Don't worry I'm here to take care of you," Akane said with a smile. Surprisingly Akane wasn't having problems with the heat but, I could tell that sooner or later she's also going to faint due tot eh heat. But, instead of questioning I just nodded."Now sleep," Akane whispered. I closed my eyes and my consciousness went away.

"Gin wake up, wake up schools over" I opened my eyes and saw Remi."Gin you woke up. I was so worried. Schools over and most students had left." Remi said."You were worried?" I said."Of course, you dummy." Remi said."Here is your uniform." She said. I got my clothes and got dressed. I went up to my classroom and got my bag."Thank you," I said to Remi."It's nothing, goodbye now. I got to go home." Remi replied. I got to the school gate. There was my ride, Rin was also there."You okay?" Rin asked."Since when do you care?" I said."Of course, I cared, you're my sister. Also here's your homework." Rin said. That reminded of the time when we were small. Rin was cold when she was a kid but, she became a bit childish after some time. Rin had once laughed at the fact I can't play properly and locked me in the closet. Making me claustrophobic. I turned cold because I thought that Rin is just useless. She focuses on sports while she barely passes her test. Getting 60,59,65,68 on her tests. Her highest score was 87, after having me help her on studying. Rin and I didn't talk the rest of the way home. When we got home, Rin tried to talk to me again. I ignored her and went to my room. By the side of the room was a photo of Rin and me when we were kids and got along for most of the time. But, that photo means nothing now. I took it out of the case and threw it in the garbage can. I layer on my bed and rested for a while. Then, I got up and got out my homework. I finished after 10 minutes. When I was done and had nothing to do. I decided to go to the garden.
