6 King’s Game

I got to the school gates where Rin was waiting for me."Let me guess another confession?" Rin said."Yes," I said with a sigh."So, rejection or you're in a relationship." Rin asked with curiosity."If you know me, its a rejection." I said."Tomorrow is Saturday so, I want to ask you if you want to go to the beach," Rin asked."I have nothing to do so, sure. And who else did you invite?" I said."Let me think....you, Azumi, Aoi, Ena, Bunko, and Remi. We could go to the family vacation house." Rin replied."That's a lot of people but, okay." I said.

Today is Saturday and when we have the beach trip. Everyone gathered at our house. We went to the family house in the limousine. Luckily there was air-conditioning, or else I would've fainted again. Snacks and drinks were also prepared since the trip takes half a day."We're finally going to the beach!!!! Just imagine the bright sun and the salty ocean!!" Ena said with excitement."I-I prefer the shade and staying indoors," Bunko said. I agree with Bunko since the sun is a weakness of Vampires. When we got to the vacation house, I was so grateful. The house was dark and my natural environment."Awww I'm hungry now, can we eat before playing?" Aoi asked. Aoi was another one of Rin's friends."Don't worry we got that covered...Gin you know what I mean." Rin said with a smirk. I noticed that Rin didn't bring any maids, butlers, and chefs over."I'm not cooking for you if you want to eat do it yourself." I said."But, remember the last time I cooked I almost burned the house down so, please cook." Rin said with a puppy face. Aoi got next to Rin and also begged me to cook."I would actually like to taste your cooking," Remi said."Fine, I'll cook," I said. We got into the house and unpacked our bags. I looked through the fridge and found meat, asparagus, potatoes, and some other ingredients. I felt like it was set up, Rin got the ingredients so, I had to cook steak. After I finished cooking the food, on plates were steak with a side of asparagus, mashed potatoes. With a giant salad in the middle of the table. I started preparing the ingredients. After a while, I finished cooking. Though I accidentally cut my finger during the process."Let's eat!!!"Rin said as she went straight for the steak. I started walking to the storage room."Aren't you eating with us?" Remi asked."No, I'm fine. I just need to get something." I replied. I went into the storage room and got a bottle of blood from the mini fridge. I drank the blood quickly so, it won't be suspicious. Then, I locked the door to the storage room while making sure that no one is looking. Then, I walked upstairs to my room. The room was exactly how I left it. Everything was organized and nothing was moved around. I looked out the balcony from my room. The sunset was beautiful and I could stay there watching it for a long time. I heard a knock on the door."Come in, the doors not locked." I said."We're done with dinner so, I was wondering if we could use your room to play games in after a bath." Rin said."Why exactly my room?" I asked."Because your room has the most space out of every room in the house." Rin replied.

After a bath, everyone got into their pajamas. Rin was in charge of getting the pajamas and she chose onesies. Everyone had a different animal onesie. Aoi got a dolphin onesie, Ena got a fox onesie, Bunko got a bunny onesie, Azumi had a bear onesie, Remi had a panda onesie, Rin, of course, have a wolf onesie. For me, Rin got me a white car onesie, of all things a white cat! We sat in my room in a circle. I could feel my face burning red if embarrassment."Let's play the King's Game" Rin announced. I remembered the game, it was where you choose a stick and the stick shows your role. If your king then you take a card from the box, you will have a specific person or the person with that number to do a task. The game ends when every task is done."What's that game?" Remi asked. I explained the rules and how you're supposed to play the game to her. I went to my closet and got the items for the game out."Why do you have the game in your closet?" Aoi asked."Our family played the game last summer." I said. I got some pencils from the desk and handed one to everyone."Everyone write a task you want the others to do and no looking. When you are done fold the paper and put it in the box." Rin said loudly. I didn't know what task to write. Then, I thought of the task. I finished writing and folded the paper and put it in the box. After a while, everyone was done. We all picked a stick from the bottle."I got King!!!" Ena screamed. Everyone looked at their stick, I got number 3. Ena got a paper from the box. She reads the paper and says,"The king order number 3 to do number 5's makeup." I was number 3, and I just need to do someone's makeup which I know how to use."Who's number 3 and 5?" Ena asked."I'm number 3," I said."I'm number 5," Azumi said. Rin started to laugh."Why are you laughing Rin?" Azumi asked. Rin calmed down and said,"Gin can't do make-up so whoever gets number 4 will probably have makeup everywhere on their face. I didn't know you would get it." Azumi turned her attention to me."There isn't any make-up in the house so, the order can't be done." Azumi said scared."Well....actually there is make-up. It's in my mom's room." I said. Azumi gulped.

"Who even put that suggestion in the box?" Azumi asked. This reminded me of the last time we were in this house, Rin and I played this game with mother and father. So, some of the suggestions were written by them."I think it was from the time Rin and I were playing with our mother and father. The dates are probably made by them." I said."No wonder there are more suggestions then players." Aoi said."Come in now, time for a make-over~," Rin said as she came in the room with a box of makeup. The only thing I knew in the box was the lipstick and the eyeshadow pallet.

After I finished putting makeup on Ali's face, I can't help but giggle at the look Aoi had. She kinda looked like a clown but, funnier. Everyone laughed as the looked at Azumi's face."Stop looking at me and do the next suggestion." Azumi said with an annoyed tone. We all nodded and picked the stick from the box."I got king" Rin said. She got a slip from the box and announced it out loud," number 6 has to act like the onesie animal they have" Rin announced. This was the worst situation I could've been in. I looked down at the floor to avoid eye contact with Rin."Gin did you get number 6~?" She asked. I put the hood and mumbled,"Y-yes.","If you do then say nya~ please." Rin said in a teasing tone. I looked at the group and said"n-n-nya~" with hesitation. Everyone crowded around me,"Sooooo cute," Ena screamed."I didn't know that you're so timid." Aoi said."I agree that was really cute." Azumi said."Can you please do it again?" Remi asked. I covered my face with my hands. My face was red with embarrassment. I will get my revenge against Rin later on. We went to the next round, we all picked a stick."I got king," I said. Then I got a slip from the box, I read the paper and started to think it was a bad idea to play this game. Then I announced what it said,"Number 2 put on their swimsuit.","So, who's number 2?" I asked."I-I'm number 2," Remi said with a red face. Remi got up and got her swimsuit from her room. She then went into the bathroom that was in my room. A few minutes later she got out, Remi reminded of Ally. Ally was one of my cousins, she lived in America before. When we visited her once before, we visited the beach. The swimsuit Remi had kinda looked like Ally's.

We kept playing the game, then I notice it was 11 o'clock already."Alright, it's time to sleep. We're going to the beach tomorrow so, get some rest everyone." Rin said. Everyone got up and went back to their room. I went to the balcony and looked starting looking at the moon. It's a Crescent moon. Meaning soon, it will be a full moon, and I have to be locked the basement again. There was a swimming pool in the backyard and I wasn't really sleepy. I put on my swimsuit and went to the pool and started swimming. The coolness of the water washed away my thoughts. I sighed. I heard a footstep. When I turned around I found that Remi was there."Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you," Remi said with an embarrassed tone."It's fine, I usually come and swim near midnight. But, what are you out here for?" I asked." I just couldn't sleep so I decided to look around. I didn't know that the house was so, big." Remi said. There was a silence." Are you going to stand there or go back to the house?" I said."Um...I'll stay. So, it's nice to be on this trip with you guys. It's so nice to be surrounded by friends." Remi said, starting a conversation."Yeah.....friends." I murmured."Are you guys not friends?" Remi asked."Well, Rin is my twin. The rest, I don't really talk to them but, I guess we hang out sometimes." I said. Remi and I talked for a while, I wasn't sure what time was it but, it's probably midnight."I'm going to go back now, you coming?" I said as I got up."Yeah, I'm coming." Remi said. We started walking back to the house. I went upstairs and took another bath. Then, I got out a pair of pajamas, because I'm not wearing that cat onesie. I got into bed and it took me a while to sleep.
