Kaisar furrowed his brows even more as she innocently stared back at him, seemingly like a harmless cat sitting on the couch.

Sighing deeply, Kaisar decided to let this matter go. He should observe her for now until she will tell him everything.

He just can't buy her words that she lost her memories when her actions told him the opposite.

"Why are you staring at me again? Now, I'm embarrassed." Yang Mi cupped her face and blushed like a young high school girl.

With him staring, no, glaring at her like he was looking at an unidentified thing, she could only try to act silly.

Well, to be honest. Being stared at by such a premium grade hunk, Yang Mi couldn't deny feeling a tad shy even if she didn't want to.

It's just that his eyes were too deep and dark, invoking a certain hidden feeling of being a young girl again from deep within her.

After seeing her finish her cup of coffee, Kaisar stood up, "Follow me, I'll show you the room you will be temporarily staying at."

Since he was her guardian at the moment, Kaisar decided to ket her stay inside his house. Despite having no contact with any woman for yeats, he still had to endure this since he felt that he was also at fault here.

Yang Mi's eyes showed a bit of confusion as she remembered that there was only one room in the house. Since she never saw him with anyone else and a guest never showed up in the house, she was surprised at his words.

Kaisar walked in front of her and only stopped before a door that was across his room. He opened it and entered without much emotion. He then gestured for her to get inside.

"This will be your room. I'm not too sure about what you need but if you wish to change anything or if there's anything missing, just tell Aunt Wu."

"Aunt Wu?" She asked.

That's strange, she never seen or heard of this Aunt Wu. Did he get a sugar momma while she was in the hospital? Or was she related to him by blood?

"She's the old maid who will take care of your needs. Since you're currently recovering, I can't let you do anything harmful to your body." Kaisar didn't take notice of her strange thoughts and let her inspect the room.

After saying his piece, he intended to leave as he had other things to do.

"Just rest for now. I'll go out first." He said and stepped out.

But just as he passed by her, Yang Mi's fingers reached out to the corner of his sleeve and pulled him to a stop.

"What is it?" Kaisar's cold voice sounded patient but he looked at the fingers pulling his sleeve with a frown.

He never liked being in contact with any woman. Just being around them was enough to make him uncomfortable and wished they could get away from him.

And although, this female beside him was the same ghost that has been stalking him for weeks. He still couldn't get used to the fact that the female ghost has turned herself into a human being and now standing before him.

Hence, he still felt slightly uncomfortable with her around.

Smiling brightly, she asked, "Can't I just stay in your room?"

Kaisar: "…"

'How shameless.' Was what he initially wanted to say but he forced his lips to not say it. He also didn't know why he didn't say it and chose to quietly listen to her.

Seeing that he was willing to listen to her, Yang Mi continued, "I mean, you said you're going to take care of me."

"I did say that." Kaisar nodded, "However, we should always observe distance. There are things that we shouldn't be think of doing." After he said that, he left without even a glance and closed the door behind him.

Left with only herself inside the room and staring at the closed door, Yang Mi 'tsked' and rolled her eyes angrily.

Mission failed even before she could take a step to do her initial plan!

What distance! Are we in a quarantine!

Before she came with him, she's been thinking about her plans on how to seduce him to take action on her. After all, what kind of man wouldn't use this chance to get closer to a beautiful and fresh young lady!

But she underestimated his obstinate character. He even spent some money to renovate his house and make her own room!
