7 Your presence.....I hate it.

We went to my room and as I stood staring outside the glass window, Jace sat on my bed.

'Your bed is comfy!' He said distracting my thoughts. He pulled me and I sat next to him.. I knew what he wanted say. He wanted to try and forget all that happened, but I don't think he knows it takes time. He pulled the strand of my hair that covered my face behind my hair. I stared at his hazel eyes while he stared at my ruby eyes.

'Did you know your eyes are scary?' He teased.

'My eyes are scary?' I asked in gape, because he usually say my eyes were beautiful and it made me look more beautiful.

'Yes, you should one day get angry and look at someone straight in the eyes. Your eyes will burn with fury and a huge flame will flash your eyes and you will be scary!' He answered. I understood what he meant because I never gotten angry in my entire life. I know it sounds insane, but my dad and sister had never gotten angry before, so I took after them.

'You've gone nuts!' I said and slightly pushed him as I got up. He got a phone call and just to ruin my day it was Stacey. He answered and put it on loudspeaker because he was looking through the books on the bookshelf. Stacey was on the phone ranting, because he forgot to take her out. Jace calmed her down after a momentum of her shouting. He told her to come to his house so that he could make it up to her. I heard her giggle and she agreed and with that their conversation ended.

'Why is she coming here, Jace? You know we aren't on good terms!' I immediately spoke once she cut the call. His response made me break down 'because she is my girlfriend and I made her upset, so I must make it up to her.' 'Oh!' was my only response. Then he brought out a romance novel and showed it to me, it spelt 12 nights of temptation.

' You want me to read that. Read the words, Jace!'

'Quit being a baby, you are 20, so you have the right to read such books!' He insisted and handed the book to me and I hesitated a bit but collected it. I flipped through the pages and it seemed okay, so I took it.

As I read the book with my geek circular reading glasses on, I heard the horn of a car. I closed the book and carried it to the window and I saw it was Stacey's car. Jace entered my room and told me to follow him, I reluctantly agreed. As we reached the end of the stairs, Stacey entered and quickly jumped on Jace.

'I missed you baby!' She said as he hugged her.

'I missed you too!' He said back, causing jealousy to flood my face. Stacey was pretty and she had a cute short blonde hair. Then she saw me and fury burst in her eyes.

'What is this loser doing here?' She said and stared at me like I was a piece of trash lying around.

'She leaves here now and she is my childhood friend and not a loser!' Jace defended.

'You let her in. her presence will ruin the lightings around here!' She said. Oh! I was starting to lose my cool and I just clenched my fist with the book.

'Those geek glasses makes you look like a wretch!' She laughed and that was it, I taken it up to my neck. I have never gotten angry over trivial issues like this, but I think it was jealousy mixed with hatred.

'You better watch it blondie.' I said and they both looked surprise. I pulled off the glasses and stared straight into her brown eyes. I guess what Jace said was true, because Stacey was trembling with fear in her eyes.

'You see I was correct!' Jace finally spoke with a smile. I put the glasses on and Stacey dragged Jace towards the door.

'Your presence..... I hate it!' She said and I said the words 'Me tooo!' and chuckled before I approached them and she hissed at me and I went out the front door.
