First Day
As soon as Chris reached GSM, he found people bustling from here and there. Thank God no one recognised him or he would have to face their superficial looks of respect. Obviously, such days would be numbered as he was soon going to take the role of the President. It was indeed a shock for himself too. It's due to the thing that happened not too long ago after he broke up with Eva. It's not that he ever wanted to do that but he was left with no choice. He had to go to the US for studying business administration due to his dad forcing him and he didn't want Eva to wait for him all these years. Hence, he had no choice but to break up with her. Little did he know, that Eva would still be single after the long span of five years. Not even a day passed by when he had not thought about her but now that he was back, he was not going to leave this opportunity. He'll make Eva his lawfully wedded wife and spend all the coming years with her until his last breath.
But right now he had to earn as much as he can so as to secure their future. He heads towards the President's office directly as today was his first day. Just a while later, he heard a knock and a bespectacled man in his early thirties walked in. He introduced himself as Chris's new assistant and that his name was Sebastian. The first thought that came in Chris's mind when he saw him was that he must be quite knowledgeable and hardworking. So to test his capability he assigned him to bring him all the files of the past decade in order. He thought that Sebastian would take at least 1 day to bring the files to him but he had brought it within 3 hours. Just impeccable!!
Chris soon began to deal with the profits and losses the company had encountered until now and had made a balance sheet out of it. He ordered Sebastian to hold a meeting in 1 hour in which he will personally deal with the coming plans and endorsements the company is going to undertake. This is going to be his first time appearing in front of the workers. He as well as the workers were both nervous as hell.
Soon 1 hour passed and he entered the meeting room. Everyone stood up and wished him which was quite unfamiliar but now he had to experience it every day. The meeting began and lasted for 4 hours straight without a break. Since Chris was usually a workaholic he didn't realise the expressions of the employers until Sebastian reminded him of his next meeting.
Chris came out of the meeting room and headed to the next meeting with his assistant to a hotel.
After the meeting was over, he drove back to the office with his assistant. On the way, his assistant asked him how he could work non-stop for such a long time.
He was not like this from the beginning. It all happened due to Eva. He couldn't sleep at night due to the thought of her that surrounded him. He began working so as to get his mind off her. He doesn't know when it became his habit.
Eva, just wait for me for sometime!
