Fighting Azaernila

"Who are you and why you attacked me?" Azaernila sat up and licked her lips as she summoned a dagger in her palm.

"It's not necessary to know my identify, but isn't the second question self-evident?" I said it with a frigid expression, which startled her because her adversaries would generally be persuaded by now.

"Since you've come to kill me, I'll kill you first and figure out who you are later." As Azaernila's expression shifted to one of seriousness, she said.

She dashed forward and appeared in front of me in a near instant, stabbing at my rib cage with her dagger.

"She's to fast, system do you have a ability that can help me against her speed?" I thought as I narrowly escaped her lethal attack, which left a small gash on the side of my neck.

[At your level, Future Perception will give you the power to see a few seconds into the future; thus, use your Imagination Creation Ability, which is the last thing you can ask for, hmmph]. Alexa said, pouting.

"Thanks." I thought as I immediately imagined the skill, which was shortly proven to operate with the appearance of a holographic screen in my view, which did not obscure my vision in any way.

I immediately activated [Future Sight] after obtaining and I saw her dagger flip into a reverse grip before she slashed it back at me, which happened three seconds later as I ducked while pivoting my foot and constructing my own dagger.

I switched my dagger into a reverse grip as I pivoted myself, and used the momentum to aim my dagger towards her temple.

*Clang!

"It appears like I'm doing better against her, which is surprising considering our disparity in experience." I thought as she parried my dagger with another dagger she had constructed.

She entered stealth as she circled me looking for any openings, but was surprised as I just stood there in a defenseless stance with my eyes closed.

"Seems like she isn't as good as I initially thought with her rookie mistakes as especially with her in her defenseless position with her eyes closed, I guess I'll end it quickly." Azaernila sighed as she was truly hoping for someone to be her opponent.

This was expected the difference in experience decided the victor.

Azaernila dagger aimed at her exposed neck as she thrusted it at an insane speed, with a ton of force behind it.

*Clang!

Instead of the normal cutting flesh sound, the sound of two daggers colliding was heard shocking the Azaernila.

I quickly stabbed another dagger I constructed at the curse on her left arm, while activated [bleeding curse] without any resistance from Azaernila as she was stuck in confusion failing to noticed that her curse had been released.

"Aahhh."

She disappeared in a moment and reappeared in front of me, slashing her hand at me, which now had razor-sharp nails, but I was barely able to avoid the fatal blow, which left 5 wounds on my neck, even with [Future Vision] activated.

[Now I see why she was cursed; it was a seal that sealed away her other half, which appears to be that of a vampire, given her resemblance to one]. Alexa said, her voice solemn.

"You said that was a flaw, so how come she's stronger?" As I narrowly escaped another onslaught, I inquired of the system.

[You now have the option of infusing a life curse that is the polar opposite of her current self, or you can wait until your bleeding curse exhausts all of her blood.] Alexa said, her voice solemn.

"So the hardest is the shortest, while the easiest is the longest, which I can't do since her stamina and agility must've improved after I unsealed her vampire side." I thought as I averted another attack on my heart.

I chose the most difficult but shortest path by activating [Life Curse] and [Wound Curse] before attempting to attack, but I was stuck in defense since every time I tried to attack her, she kept attacking, preventing me from wounding her.

"Do you have any suggestions for how I can improve my reaction and attacking speed, System?" As I averted another fatal onslaught, I inquired.

[I'm not your servant; discover it for yourself.] Alexa said, her voice solemn.

"And this is what I get for being the daughter of the two most powerful goddesses: a useless system with a personality as if she were a living being." While evading another assault, I groaned and thought.

[Fine, I'll tell you if you apologize.] Alexa expressed her displeasure with the fact that I had labeled her useless.

"Alright, I'm sorry, can you tell me now?" I muttered this as I evaded another strike.

[You can expand the amount of time you can see into the future, but keep in mind that the further you go, the worse the drawback becomes.] Alexa said, her voice solemn.

"Thanks." I mentioned as I altered how far into the future I could see from 3 seconds to 5 seconds, as it seems to be my limit.

She slashed her hand at me, which I avoided with a foot pivot, before stabbing at her seal and shoulder joint as she blocked the attack towards her seal, allowing me to demolish her left shoulder, rendering her arm useless.

Her rage grew as her attacks became more aggressive. I was able to avoid them, but I couldn't find another opportunity to attack.

I could feel the fatigue on my body from using future sight, but I kept dodging her attacks until I eventually found an opening, and used her seal as a feint while actually aiming for her right shoulder to prevent her from using her nails to attack.

"Ahhh."

She screamed in agony as I stepped forward, constructing demonic spikes that punctured her feet, as I utilized [Life Curse] to give the fatal blow to her seal.
