Although reluctant, Sophia set up a carriage ride for me to go back. It was rather considerate of her, despite the steps along the way that it took to get to this part.

Despite the fact she would need to ride all the way back, Sophia decided to ride in the carriage with me. It was at this time that I felt that awkward carriage rides definitely beat out the awkward car rides.

In part because you had to either stare at each other or sit next to each other. Since this was a two-compartment carriage, as were the ones designed for nobility for whatever reason, it was much smaller, so sitting next to each other made it a bit cramped.

And perhaps what was quite obvious, was that she opted to sit next to me, as she always had.

Though this time, she didn't have anything to say, nor were there any questions.
