Maya's POV

The rehearsal happened before dinner, and everyone is having fun, and I notice Adonis only steals glances at me. He never attempted to talk with me until the rehearsal was over. But I felt so conscious during snack time because Adonis sat beside me, and I am just glad I am seated next to Ariana on my left side. I think I will have a stiff neck because I am always looking at Ariana the entire time, and I tried my best to avoid him, the best thing I can. Lisa calls my name on my right side, and I am shocked when I almost kiss Adonis because he was about to whisper something on my ear, and I suddenly feel butterflies on my chest, and it feels like my entire body is on fire. I quickly drink my beverage with ice to lessen the hotness that I felt, and goosebumps covered my whole body.

When I couldn't take it anymore, I excused myself and went to the restroom immediately. I sprinkled some water on my face to keep myself sane.
