Time to start

Lucas was following Elena to the office. He couldn't wait to see her from the time he got up. The feel of falling for her was so overwhelming that he could not wait to go and hold her and love her.

While getting ready, he kept looking in the mirror to check if he was looking good or not. He didn't knew he would start doing things which he thought were foolish. Lucas would never look at himself as he knew he was good looking enough for any girl to fall for him. But the girl who stole his heart was making him do that. He didn't thought he would be so self conscious in front of her.

Reaching the office, but instead of going through his private elevator he decided to take the public one. Walking behind Elena he stood there without letting her know.

All the employees were looking and greeting him, but the girl in front was unaware of his presence as she was checking the mail in her mobile.

Moving inside the elevator she took the corner side to stand. Lucas followed her and stood next to her. He was standing next to her for so long ,yet this girl didn't notice his presence. Getting annoyed he bend down and whispered in her ear.

"Miss Carter, are you willingly avoiding me?".

Elena stopped what she was doing, she knew who's voice it was. She gulped deciding whether to look up or not. She was still nervous of how to face him. Though she had made up her mind to act as if she didn't remember anything. But still her heart was beating fast because of his closeness.

Lucas was waiting for her to look up, but this girl was only standing there paused, gripping her mobile phone tightly. Seeking for her attention he put his hand around her waist pulling her lightly towards him.

Startled by his actions, Elena looked up only to find him smiling at her. They were so close that she could feel his body warmth. His ocean blue eyes were watching her with tenderness and his bright smile were giving her butterflies. She was so engrossed in him , that she didn't notice that many people started to enter the elevator squeezing both of them in the corner.

"You didn't answer me Miss Carter? " he asked her again, Lucas wanted to hear her voice. Her sweet voice was like a melody for his ears which he wanted to keep listening. He could still remember how she spoke with him and caressed his cheeks.

"I-i was-" before she could speak the elevator had stopped and everyone went out leaving the only two inside.

Elena was now more nervous as no one was around and she was only left with him. Lucas left her and went to the opposite corner and leaned on the wall. He kept looking at her, knowing that she was nervous he didn't wanted to scare her and moved back to give her space.

"How are you feeling Miss Carter, you enjoyed the party alot" he smirked remembering her dance.

Elena wanted to hide somewhere, she knew what she had done, making her more embarrass to face him.

Lucas was enjoying his tease, he was very well aware of girl's behavior and he could see that she was not looking at him and not answering anything.

Walking towards her, he covered her whole frame with his big body. He moved down to look face to face and asked her"Do you remember what you did SUNSHINE? ".

Elena was shocked when he called her with that name, and she knew he had given her that name. She was only praying for the lift to stop on their floor and she could run away from him. Lucas was very much tempting to her eyes that she could hardly control.

As her wish was granted, the lift stopped and as soon as the door opened she pushed him and ran as fast as she could. She didn't even wait to turn back to look if he was following or not.

Lucas looked at her retreating figure and laughed, he was sure that she remembered everything and was just avoiding him. Smiling at her he stepped out of the elevator making his way towards his cabin.

Entering his cabin he turn to look at Elena's cabin, but he could found her. Thinking she must have went to make him coffee, he took the seat and started his work.

Elena was tapping her finger's on the table waiting for the cup to get fill from the coffee machine. She didn't even dared to enter her cabin as she knew Lucas was behind her and would definitely search for her. So she had her way to make coffee for him.

Elena was trying to come up with some excuses just to avoid him from speaking about the previous night.But she didn't knew the more she would ignore the more he would ask.

Taking the coffee cup she made her way towards his cabin. Taking a deep breath she calmed her down and entered his cabin with the thought of lets face it.

As soon as she entered, she saw Lucas was busy with his work. Elena thought that its better to keep the cup on the table and leave. Walking towards the table she kept the coffee cup and was about to leave when she heard Lucas voice.

"Miss Carter, are you in hurry? " she stopped her steps and closed her eyes praying to let him leave her.

Elena turn back to answer him only to find him smirking at her. She wanted to punch that face of his. Controlling her erge, she put a fake smile and answered him"No sir".

"Okay, take this file kept on the table and go through it and find if there anything that needs to changed" he paused "Now... ".Lucas was trying his best to not laugh at her look that she was giving after what he said.

Elena blinked on his words thinking whether she heard him correct or not and asked him again " Now.. "waiting for him to speak.

" Yes... Take the chair and sit here in front of me" He said to her again and pulled his attention back to his laptop. Elena was dumbfounded and stood there for a few seconds where she heard him saying again.

" Miss Carter, are you going to stand there or start with your work? "She was brought back by his voice and without wasting time she took the seat and started reading the file.

Lucas stopped what he was doing as his eyes went to look at the person who was sitting in front of him. He was so enchanted by beauty that he forgot to blink. Elena was concentrating on the work that he has asked to do.

"How can a person be so beautiful" he said in his mind. Though he had met beautiful ladies in the past, but that beauty was just outside and this girl in front was beautiful from both inside and out.

He didn't knew when he got up and walked towards her. Elena who got alert with his movement and turn up head up only to find him standing in front of her.

He squat down on his one knee and hold the chair caging her in between his arm. He kept looking at her and spoke "You know that you are so beautiful"his hoarse voice echoed in her ears.

Elena was shocked by his words, does he think of her like a cheap person whom he can come and flirt as much as he want. But when she looked in his eye they were telling her something else. His word were matching with his eyes, they were not teasing her but were telling the truth.

"I like you " Lucas said looking into her eyes. He knew that his words would surprise her but he wanted to ask her permission before he officially courts her and he didn't wanted to play games with her. Now that he knew he had fallen for her he wanted to come clean.

Elena soft eyes frown on what he said, pushing his hands away she moved the chair and stood up. Lucas saw the anger in her eyes.

Elena didn't wanted to play anymore, she thought that he was making fun of her intoxicated state and was taking it in a wrong way.

"Sorry sir, but if you think of me as cheap girl who is waiting for your attention then I'm sorry" she looked straight into his eyes, they where shocked by her response.

"I was not in my right mind, and thank you for your help, Maira said it was you who brought me home" she paused and again continued

"And please forget everything thing that happened because i was not in my sense" she said and was about to leave when Lucas hold her waist and pinned her on the wall.

Lucas didn't expect that she would think of him in way, he knew that he was flirt and enjoyed his time with different women but that was the past Lucas and this new one was a changed man.Since the time he set his eye's on her, he knew what he wanted.
