Jealous Ethan

Ethan was waiting for Samantha to come out of the building. She has been avoiding him the whole day. He didn't knew why she acted like this all of a sudden. In morning when they came to office she did talked to him little, even after thier kiss. But after awhile she started acting different whenever he tried to talk to her and she started giving excuses.

Even during the lunch, she always preferred to sit next to him while eating, but today she went and sat next to Jacob. She was talking to him so freely and smiling everytime he cracked a joke. Watching her happy whenever she talked to him made him jealous inside. His heart was getting hurt everytime she avoided his gaze making him feel sad.

His heart knew he liked her, but was it only him that was having this feeling for her? Didn't she feel the spark when they kissed? why was it so hard for him to see her smiling whenever she talked to Jacob?. There were so many questions he had in his mind, he wanted her to clear it and give him the answer.

While waiting for her he leaned on the car that was parked nearby. She told him to go home as she had some work that she wanted to finish and would take sometime for her to leave the office. He didn't wanted to go home alone as he got use of her whenever they went home. He was happy whenever he was with her, her constant talking make him feel at home . The house he leaved was only a silent apartment, but after she came to stay there, it became a home in real sense where he could hear her non stop talking.

When Samantha came out of the building she stopped in her tracks. Jacob and Samantha where working on the same project so they had to stay for overtime. Looking straight to the person whom she was trying to avoid to talk was actually waiting down leaning on the car.

"Why did he wait?"she said in her mind. She wanted to keep distance from him so she could control her heart from falling for him. But his little sweet act of kindness was making her give up her strong portray.

Ethan looked at Samantha only to find her with Jacob which made him boil in anger. His heart again started to feel uneasy when he saw them both. Holding his office bag tightly he kept looking at them.

Biding goodbye to Jacob, Samantha started walking towards Ethan. She stopped in front of him when Ethan turn and started walking to the bus stop.

He didn't wanted to show his anger to her so he kept walking until they reached the bus stop. Samantha walked with him without talking anything thinking why he waited for her if he wanted walk alone.

Throughout their bus ride Ethan didn't talk anything. Reaching their apartment Samantha was about to go inside her room, when Ethan pulled her by holding her wrist and pinned her on the wall covering her whole body.

Samantha was started by his sudden act, she was confused on what had gotten into him.She gulped looking at his angry face, she wanted to talk but ,she couldn't speak anything as she could feel his body so close to her.

"Why are you avoiding me? " he said looking at her intently. Ethan was getting impatient as he wanted to reach home and ask her why was she behaving like this, he couldn't see her with anyone except him.

"I-i.... " she felt her knees weak as she was unable to speak anything.

"I told you....that i don't like you talk with anyone" he said and closed his eyes sighing. He was avoiding to burst at her.

Samantha frowned on his words, it was him who was avoiding her after thier kiss. And now he was asking her why she was not talking to him.

"It was you who was avoiding me..." she said and tried to free herself from his cage. Ethan was not in mood to leave her. Holding her arms he pulled her back pushing her on the wall.

"You were the one who was not talking with me, and why you are blaming me" he said in anger.

"Why are you so affected if i talk to anyone?" she questioned him, who was he asking her to not talk with guys.

"Can't you understand, why i am behaving like this" he frowned when she questioned him.

"Did our kiss disgust you? Didn't you feel the spark in your heart when my lips touched yours? Don't you feel something when I'm close to you? " Ethan kept firing questions on her making her shocked by his sudden outburst.

Ethan was looking helpless in front of her, he never want her to distance herself from him. She was the only one he had with whom he felt like a happy person. But why don't she understand that.

Samantha just kept looking at his vulnerable state, he just opened up his heart in front of her. She was doubting if he had any feeling for her, but he just spoke everything even without her asking. She felt anger on herself, why did she behaved like that when she knew he was not a person who shared his emotion with other's. He had considered her close to him.

Ethan sigh after talking so much, he closed his eyes and freed her from his grip taking few steps back. He was hurt to look at her confused face, he thought she didn't feel the same for him as he felt for her. He turned and was about to walk when Samantha ran and hugged him from behind. Burying her face in his back she cried.

"I'm sorry.... i'm sorry.... i didn't mean to hurt you... please don't stopped talking to me please" she said while crying.

Ethan stood like a statue unable to move, she was crying and that made him feel numb. Turning back he took her into a hug as she burried her face in his chest still crying.

"D-don't cry.... please don't cry Samantha" he wanted to make her stop crying, but he didn't knew how to do. So he stood there caressing her back waiting for her to calm down.

They stood like that until she stopped crying, Ethan scoped her in his arm and made her sit on the couch. She kept her head down not looking at him. Ethan was feeling happy listening to her words, even she didn't want him to stopped talking to her. Pulling her face up he made her looked at him. He wanted her to talk, he wanted her to answer him.

"Even you don't like when i avoid you...right?" he asked looking at her.

Samantha nodded in yes and again her tears started to fall. Ethan wiped them with his thumb and pulled her into a hug.

"I-i thought you didn't like our kiss" she sobbed holding him tight, "I thought you only took me ask friend and didn't want more than that" she continued.

"So not to make my feelings more obvious i tried to keep distance from you. I didn't wanted to get hurt, but I'm sorry i didn't knew by doing that i was hurting you too..." she said and again cried loud.

"Shh..... please dont cry... That kiss didn't disgust me" he said coaxing her. Both had misunderstood each other and were acting like this, but now that everything was solved he wanted to open up about his feelings to her. He can't wait any longer.

"I like you Sam" he said while hugging her, Samantha pulled back and looked up at his sudden confession.

"What..?you don't like me" he said when he saw again her confused face. He wanted to make her confess what she felt for him. So he decided to act.

"Ok.... if you don't feel the same then fine I'll find some- " he swallow his words when Samantha pulled him into a kiss.

Ethan eyes where wide open when he felt her lips on his, closing his eyes he responded her. The kiss lasted until both where out of breath

Pulling away both panted ,calming their beating heart. Samantha pulled him by his collar making him gasp and said, "Find someone and i will make that girls life miserable until she leave you".

Smiling at her he again kissed her"I don't need anybody if its not you"saying this his kissed her until he was satisfied.

Samantha finally understood that Ethan was also confused just like her. He also wanted to know how she felt for him and his ignorance, she took it in a wrong way. Finally confessing thier love to each other both went to their respective room to freshen up. They couldn't even last one day without talking to each other, and that silence made them accept their love for each other.
