Ethan's mother

Samantha and Ethan had reached his hometown, they travelled by bus watching beautiful scenery that came along their travel. Samantha had never seen such a beautiful view in her life. Her father being a businessman never allowed her to travel through subways or buses. They had their limited edition cars in the garage and whenever she need to go out , her butler would always be her.

If she would not have lied to her father and stepped out of the house, she would have missed the life outside her big mansion.

Ethan and Samantha took a cab to reach his mother house that was to the westside of the city. His mother had a pastry shop that she used to manage with his dad, but after his father's sudden death due to cardiac arrest , she had been handling it on her own. It had been a long time ,since he visited his mom. She used to call him, but because what he faced back then, he didn't had the face to show his mother.

Their cab stopped at the row house, which had many plants outside the gate. Getting out they reach the gate only to find it locked.

"Guess mom went to the shop" Ethan said and called his mother telling her about their arrival. Yes he had told his mother that Samantha was also going to come but, he said that she is only his friend. He didn't wanted Samantha to feel any pressure of talking about their relationship, if she still wanted to take time. He knew that she was hiding from her father and haven't yet told him about the job. And now their relation, he wanted thing to go slow in their case.

After calling his mom , he went to his neighbour to take the house keys. Getting inside, Samantha was mesmerized by how the house was kept ,neat and clean. They had a small garden and looking at how beautifully she had taken care of it ,one could say that she loved planting. Going little further, they had a swing which was place next to the planted tress. Samantha left her luggage and ran towards the swing and kept swinging like a kid. She was feeling so nice and happy, that she told him to take her with him to his mother's place.

"Ethan....it's so nice and refreshing here, see how beautiful the garden look when you swing up" Samantha was giggling like a small child who was taken to the park after ages.

"You know....even we had a small swing in our mansion, but its not as homely as it is here" she slowed down a little, stopping her swing and breath the sweet and fruity smell of the flower.

Ethan who was watching her silently felt happy ,when he thought that she actually loved his place. He knew his mother was very much into planting and now, she would have another one who would help her in this. He was thinking about their future together, but he knew that was not as easy as he said, he would be needing her father to convince and his mother, even she needs to like her.

Ethan who was thinking all this stuff didn't knew when Samantha came and hugged him. She knew what he was thinking, but it was not the right time to stress for her as it was his time to spend with his mother and she didn't wanted him to keep this frown on his forehead.

" Ethan,when we will meet you mother? " she said pulling back.

Holding her waist he leaned forward and kissed her, maybe her kiss was like a soothing medicine which he needed every now and then. "We need to freshen up and I will take you to the pastry shop" he said and holding her hand he took her inside.

Elena's house

Elena had stayed at Maira's apartment the previous night and came back home in the morning. Her mother had called her to inform that, they had to go to meet her grandma as she was not well and had asked them to visit.

Even she wanted to go an meet her nana ,its have been three years she didn't go to her uncle's house. She use visit her uncle's house in the summer vacation and loved to spend her holidays with them. There were times, when they had to stay more than their valid time ,as her father kept posting to different cities changing the houses and adjusting in the new place.

Getting inside the house, she saw it empty, she had never lived alone in the house as her parents would always be with her to stay, not leaving her alone. But now since she had no other option ,she had to stay alone until her parents comeback. Even uncle Blake was out of town or else he would have come home.

With a sad face, she went upstairs to her room and slumped down on her bed. She turn to keep her mobile on the side table when she found a note stuck on it,' Baby girl mom and dad will be out for fours days, don't forget to eat on time and sleep properly. Mother have made you favorite food, its kept in the kitchen just go and have it....and....AND.....try to cook something for yourself rather eating junk food okay. Enjoy your home alone stay....muahhh" . Elena smiled at her mother note, "She is still like a child sometimes" she said smiling at the note in her hand.

Initially Elena was going to stay at Maira's place ,but she had gone out for some office work early morning and even Daneil was going to comeback in the evening and she didn't wanted watch their pda while staying their and disturbing their privacy.

Getting downstairs, she went to the kitchen and had the food her mom made. She got a text from her mother, after they reached her nana's place.

Elena was feeling bore staying alone at home, she even tried to go to sleep and tried to read some novels, but she couldn't concentrate.

After trying to read the book and trying to focused on the story, she turned around to find her phone buzz.

Ron had message her to go and take Lucas sign on the papers, which he mailed and it was needed urgently. He had send her the location of his penthouse , so she could not keep looking for the house or get lost.

Getting up from her bed lazily, she got ready to leave for his place. Today she took a cab instead of her baby, as she was not in mood to ride.

After texting to Elena, Ron turned to look at his boss, who was smiling like an idiot after making him lie to Elena about the emergency signature.

"Boss, she will come here I have already send her the location" Ron who had come to Lucas place for signing some papers and discuss some company related matters, was about to leave when, his boss stopped him as he was getting bore in the house alone and wanted to meet his sunshine.

"If he was missing her so much ,why didn't he himself go and meet her rather asking this poor soul to lie her" Ron who wanted to cry thinking what will she think of him if any day she finds out.

"Good job Ron... get your bonus day after tomorrow in office " Listening his boss word Ron's crying face bloomed like a flower.

Wiping his fake tears he said, "Thank you boss...thank you very much" after doing his work and getting his boss appreciation, Ron left the house.

Ethan and Samantha got ready and left his house.

Samantha was feeling nervous, as its her first time meeting his mother and didn't knew if she would like her or not.

Standing in front of the shop ,Ethan pushed the glass door for Samantha to get in first and was welcomed by the smell of freshly baked cookies.

Scanning around the shop, Ethan found his mother standing in the corner and taking the order. After that she left the place, to place the order on the counter.

Though now, she had many people working under her, she still loved to serve people.

Leaving Samantha's hand, he went to his mother hand gave her a back hug. Sensing her son presence, she turned around pulling his ear making his shout in pain.

"Ahh...mom "he screamed when he felt her twisting his ear too hard.

Susan was angry on her son, for not coming to meet her often. She knew the reason but still, he was her only child and she wanted to be there for her son when he needed her the most.

"Do you remember...now that you have a mother who misses you" she let go of his ear and started walking to her cash counter.

Ethan who follow his mother like a scared child went and hugged her again," Sorry it won't happen again.." he pulled back and hold his ears asking her to forgive him.

Susan could not be angry on his for so long, she got tears in her eyes when she saw her son looking like a innocent kid ,who was being avoid by his mother. Keeping her anger aside she got his hands down and hugged him, "I missed you son" she sobbed.
