1 Car Accident(1)

Jiang Daiyu parked her car at the roadside. Stepping out in simple yet expensive outfit, displaying her beauty and elegance. She smiled as she looked at the little pastry shop in front of her. It has been more than 4 years since she left Sun State. The place was crowded with different people, especially high school students. The shop was not too far from the high school Jiang Daiyu went to, Stars High. Carrying a graceful aura, she walked into the pastry shop. She seemed to have caught the attention of everyone.

"Whoa... who is that?"

"How can someone be this beautiful....oh heavens why?

"Heaven can be unfair sometimes"

"Ah.... I can't stop staring"

"Look at her outfit...she must be rich"

Mr Song, the owner of the pastry shop, was curious about who everyone was talking about. He lifted up his head and saw Jiang Daiyu. A beautiful smile appeared on his face as he saw one of his long time regular customers.

"Miss Jiang" he said happily as he walked towards her and hugged her. He smiled happily as he remembered when she was still in high school. She was very beautiful and also shy but now, she looked different. She looked like she could take on the entire world.

Jiang Daiyu hugged him back.

Mr Song asked his workers to take care of the customers while he and Jiang Daiyu went to the back of the shop.

At the back of the shop, there was a little bench. The both of them walked towards it and sat on it. They started chatting and talking about old times.

"Ah.... where is Mrs Song and little lady?" Jiang Daiyu asked as she smiled.

"Little lady must be all grown up" Jiang Daiyu continued as she noticed the old man's expression.

"What's wrong?" she asked as she looked at him curiously. It took a while before the old man answered.

"Miss Jiang doesn't know that my wife and granddaughter passed away two years ago" Mr Song said as his voice became hoarse. Jiang Daiyu looked at him speechlessly. Loosing a family member is bad enough not talk of two.

"How?....when?....wh.... what happened?" Jiang Daiyu asked as she became a little restless.

"Car accident" Mr Song answered as tears rolled down from his eyes.

" That afternoon, my wife went to pick up my granddaughter from school while I was in the shop. About half an hour later, I received a call that my wife and granddaughter were at the hospital. I left the shop and ran to the hospital. When I got there, the doctor told me my granddaughter died before she got to the hospital while my wife passed away in the hospital."

It was too much for the old man to bear that he busted into tears. Jiang Daiyu regretted asking him about his wife and granddaughter. She didn't expect to hear this bad news. She bit her lips and hugged him, trying to comfort him.
