THE WINNER IS....

When the word 'Go' was screamed, all of them sprinted ahead. After like 30 to 40 seconds the nerve racking moment was over. Masahiko Hisashi was first and Kaito had managed to come third but Sosuke....

Hmmmmm....

The handsome and popular dude came LAST!

All the girls were too shocked, it was as if they were traumatized by the worst thing in the world. Hotaru and Yuqi just kept on looking at each other. Their mouths opened but nothing came out.

Sosuke hung his head low the whole time during price distribution. He was sincerely happy for Kaito but he lost to that jerk Hisashi. He was so mad right now, he could explode. When they approached the girls, both of the girls hugged Kaito and congratulated him.

It was a delightful moment for Kaito who was being hugged by Hotaru, his heart had never acted like this before.

"It's fine. You tried your best! Don't act all sad. I know it has not affected you badly emotionally. So forget about it.",Yuqi said with a cute smile. Sosuke could do nothing but smile back at her.

"Just a moment. I will be back.",she said and left them.

She went to congratulate Hisashi. He turned all smiley when Yuqi congratulated him. In Sosuke's eyes, he was looking for a chance to Yuqi but she was back to the three before that could happen.

"Seems my hurdling is next. I have a bad feeling, I will fall hard.",she whispered to Hotaru.

Hotaru patted her back lightly and said,"It's fine, if you fall then you fall. It's alright.".

With that she headed to the starting line where she could clearly hear Sosuke, Kaito and Hotaru cheering for her. Even Hisashi's voice was audible.

The race started on a good note for Yuqi but almost near the end... she fell. It was a bad fall. The leg that was supposed to touch the ground lost its balance. When she tried to stand up, the pain was terrible.
