JUST JEALOUS

When they reached home, he made sure to carefully put Yuqi down and supported her until they were at the door. Then he bid goodbye and went home too.

Yuqi's parents were pretty concerned about her ankle and when Sosuke had told his parents, they rushed to their neighbours to check on Yuqi.

Yuqi healed overtime and a month passed pleasantly. Yuqi and Masahiko were still just friends and Hotaru and Kaito didn't make much progress either. Besides there were only 2 months left for the final exams to begin.

A month and a half to exams and Masahiko still came to their class to spend time with Yuqi in the break time. One day before Msahiko had come, Sosuke went to use the washroom.

As he was coming back he noticed Yuqi and Masahiko talking in the garden in front of Masahiko's class.

Out of curiosity or should we put it as, just out of jealousy he stood behind the pillar in such a way that he won't be seen but would be able to hear their conversation.

"Why are you and Sosuke so close? Didn't you say he doesn't like you back? Then why is he always by your side? Yuqi I am sorry but I don't like you being with him!",Masahiko said with frustration.

"I don't think you are in any position to say this to me! Let me remind you, I still haven't accepted your proposal. If you are going to bad mouth him, don't do it in front of me. He is still my friend, a cherished one. I can't change his feelings towards me, so I have decided to accept them as it is. I have been wanting to tell you this... I think I still like him. I am trying to shift my heart to you but its taking time, you do make my hurt flutter but for a very short time.",she said in a serious tone.

This however made Sosuke, who was shamelessly eavesdropping, smile. And a big smile at that.

Hev was relieved! He was overjoyed! But thinking for a moment, why was he happy? Did that mean he finally did start liking her? This was not good. After rejecting her, was he finally regretting.
