1 Chapter 1: l Have Grown Up

It was a hot summer day. It could be seen that a little boy was crying while sitting under a tree at a riverside. His eyes had become red and traces of tears could be seen all over his cheeks. His appearance looked majestic as if he was from a rich family. He was looking at a river which was flowing at a distance. But it looked like the flow of the river could not be compared to the depth of the flow of his tears. He looked like a pitiful abandoned dog who had lost his home. At that moment, the boy heard a noise from the behind. He was startled at first but he turned his slowly and found that a girl similar to his age was standing behind him. Before he could say something the girl was the first to speak : Who are you ? What are you doing here ? Why are you crying ?

Seeing that there was no response from the other party the girl sat down and reached out her hand to his face to sweep the tears with her hand. The boy was only quietly watching at her as her little hands gently swept the tears.

" I am Fujiwara Ai. And you are ?" the girl said.

The boy was silent for the whole time finally said," My name is ...."

But before the boy the could finished the girl stood up and said to boy," Let's play."

After saying that, the girl began to run and indicated the boy to come over. The boy then chased after her but no matter how much he tried he was not able to catch up to her pace. He was sometimes screaming ,"Ai, wait for me."

After a while, the boy saw that the girl turned back and she was holding a big hammer. Seeing that, the boy froze and a chill went through his spine. He wanted to run away but it seemed like his legs became paralyzed. Then he saw that the girl leapt high in the air smashed the hammer on his head.

"Aaaaaah...." After a scream Ayazawa Reo woke up from dream and found that his world has become upside down. He was scared at first but after observing a little he found that he had fallen down from his bed but his legs were still touching the bed. It was truly embarrassing.

He moved his right hand and rubbed the back of his head which was paining after hitting the floor. After that ,he mockingly said to the floor," So, you are the culprit behind the hammer. I was just about to go and play with...."

But before he could finish the line his gaze fell upon a figure which was sitting on a tool beside his bed and his mouth stopped midway. The person was looking down at him like he was some kind of trash thrown on the road.

He remembered that he was in a very embarrassing position and quickly got up from the floor. He then 'coughed' a few times and was about to say something to her but he was interupted her.

"Master, have you caught a cold?"The person in front of him who was dressed in a maid costume asked him with sincerity.

Ayazawa Reo could not figure out if she was really worried or making fun of him. He answered awkwardly," It's nothing. I am fine."

"You should be worrying about my head, stupid idiot", Ayazawa Reo cursed in his mind.

"What are you doing in my room early in the morning, Niko?" Ayazawa Reo asked the maid.

This maid was Ayazawa Reo's personal maid. She had been serving him for almost seven years. She was one year older than him.

They had grown up together and their relationship could be considered very good. She sometimes treated him like her own friend and Ayazawa Reo didn't seem to mind that.

"Oh, I was actually waiting outside but I heard some noises from the room and l thought that you might have brought a girl in your room. So, l got in the room to kill.....l mean to check if everything is alright or not."she replied.

What the hell do you mean by kill?! Would you really have done that if l did it?!

Ayazawa Reo could could not help but thought in his mind. He sighed and once again looked at her who was looking at him with an expressionless face.

But in the next moment her face became red and it seemed like she was blushing. It even made Ayazawa Reo who was stupidly looking at her with nervousness.

"Master, please don't look at me with those eyes l might get pregnant." It was her reply to the nervous Ayazawa Reo that almost made him to cough up blood.

"Where did you learn that stupid logic?", Ayazawa Reo was screaming in his heart. But he didn't told her anything because he knew that explaining her something was equal to trying to teach a six month old child how to play guitar.

"You can come in now", Niko said to the three maids who were standing outside of the room. They came in greeted their master. They were triplets who were called Chiyo, Ema and Erika. They were the same age as Niko. They also had been serving Ayazawa Reo for seven years.

"Hurry up and change his dress", Niko ordered the three.

"Huh.." It was only thing that Ayazawa Reo could say before the three caught him and changed his dress.

Ayazawa Reo was silent for a long time and after that he screamed: "How many times have I told you that l have grown up and I can change my dress myself."

"Master, you have grown up, indeed." Niko replied while looking at his lower half.

"Yes, indeed," the triplets agreed.

Ayazawa Reo wanted to jump out of the window of his room.

He wanted to scold them again but before he could say anything the four of them popped up the party poopers in their hands who knows from where they got and cheered,"Happy Birthday, Master."
