86 New Life In Hong Kong

Maya lowered her head and scoffed at her own stupidity. Yesterday night, when she landed in Hong Kong, she had seriously thought for a moment that she could put everything behind and start a new life here.

She even saw a familiar artwork on the way to the hotel; a painting titled, 'Hope', by her favorite street artist, L7. When she saw the bright dancing colors on the permanent installation, she seriously felt hopeful.

But now that she was standing there, watching Delilah and Lucas about to exchange rings, she realized how naive she had been. How could she start a new life in a place where these two would become a permanent part of her life? By staying in Hong Kong, she would be seeing Delilah more often, which in turn meant she would see Lucas as well! Worst of all, she would be seeing them together...

This was not a new life. This was a nightmare.
