Introduction

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom, a kingdom where everything is possible. I lived in a village that was in the woods. "Everyday is a beautiful sight!" I said to myself in the mirror. Then, my father called me and said "Charlotte! The shop isn't opening itself!" then I said, "Yes father, I'll be there in a moment!" then I wore my traditional work clothes and rode to the Bakeshop near the castle. I opened the store and then just like any other day, I worked and sold bread, cakes and desserts. But then, the Prince's Birthday is near. The Prince was no mortal, he may look and act like a human, but he isn't one. This year, it is an open event, so many people will arrive. His parents thought that they should let him taste a cake, he's been eating nothing but carrots, as he likes the colour and the crunch of the vegetable. There were no other closer bakeshops in the castle and no other popular ones than ours. So then, a guard from the Royal Guard came in and told me that the King and Queen wanted to talk to me. I agreed but asked, "Could I see them after I close? My father will be mad if I close early." Then the guard nodded and left. 5 hours later, I closed the store and got to the castle. The guard escorted me to the King and Queen, who lovely asked me to sit down, which I did, then I asked the Queen, "Your Majesty, why have you called me here? I haven't broke any rules and paid my taxes on time." Then she said "Please call me Maria. We've called you here because you know our sons birthday is near. And we wanted to suprise him with a cake from your bakeshop." Then in my mind I went, "OH MY GOD! THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE!" But then I said to the King, "Why me, Your Majesty?" he said, "Call me Victor. Why you? Because we've tasted your cakes and it was extraordinary!" then I thanked them. Then the Queen asked "So, would you li--". But then, the Prince arrived! THE PRINCE! I then looked at the Prince in his blue eyes that was shining and I smiled. His hair is a beautiful blond colour. He was wearing his suit, as usual, then he asked "What is going on here?" Then his parents lied and said "Nothing, we're just asking this girl if she could find us something." then he said "Then why is she the girl from the bakeshop that I love? Is it about my birthday again? What is so special about it?" His parents said "It is not about your birthday, we just wanted her to help the cooks bake a baguette for us to eat." he then said "You know I only eat carrots, right? Because human food is like eating a sock that's been worn for 3 years without being washed." then he said after that "By the way, hello Charlotte, yes I know your name because you were drunk once in the shop and shouted your name. I love your shop because it is the only place that sells carrots for free. Everyone can eat because of you, so thanks for that." then I said "Thank you very much for liking it! My father has a farm of carrots and brings the extra ones in the shop for free." then he left. I accepted the job and went to the house. I've told my father of what happened and he told me that we should make a carrot cake, but not any ordinary one. We'll use the recipe our grandfather made who died in the war, as we are told. Then we cleaned the house and slept.
