Chapter 2

"So how will I get back?" Henry asks Harbek who is packing things.

"It's easy... I will open the gate and we will enter. I will teach you black magic and you will teach me courtship and get me a lady." He waves his hand and the black mushroom that is his house transfigured into stone and he put it in his robe's pocket.

"Why do I need to learn magic?" Henry asks as he doesn't see the point of learning it if he can go back and live a normal life.

'Why would I throw away my easy life?!'

"Ha! Humans! You know ignorance is bliss but when you already cross the bridge it's now a curse. Why? You now will see ghosts and apparition. Even demons will sometimes go on the surface to kidnap some humans to be their contractors." He said flying toward Henry's shoulders.

"I'm already safe in my remote province. Disappearing people happens only every 50 years. I'm already dead by then." Henry said confidently.

"You sure are weird. Every human that I see seeks power and immortality. You know why? The best reason to know magic? Elf and fairies!!!!" When Harbek said the taboo names. Henry's eyes pop in shock.

"Succubus!!! Karkarus! Ey... Sorry, werekins and nymphs!! Hahaha!! I remember one man that seeks pleasure above else." Harbek said while laughing at Henry's reaction.

"But I can't live with those beauties... I don't have money or even a proper house. Haaaa... Such a hard life." Henry dreams of a wonderful fantasy life but reality struck him hard and fall into depression and Harbek fall into a depression-like him.

"Okay, let's leave.... [Porta]" Harbek chanted as his hand push out black mist making the world in front of them part like a curtain of a window. Henry then stares at the still blue river that has red bony hands emerging from the depths while blue snake-like things swim.

"Uummmm... Now what?" Henry said shivering from the sight.

Harbek tossed a gold coin and later a boat made from bones floats up.

"Go on..." Harbek said to Henry and they boarded the boat. Hand sprouting from the water pushes the boat upward until they reach the top where green grasses cover the soil not like the yellow fall season like on the Netherworld.

"Ahh... At last, the Mortal World!!!!"

"Ssssshh... Don't act like some 50 cent villain," Henry said walking forward as Harbek open a gate again like a curtain and then appear at the door in the staircase.

"So... How did I get there while just passing this door?" Henry asks the great mystery.

"Easy, you just in the right place at the right time." Harbek jumps off Henry's shoulders and pulls the stone that became a mushroom house again in the corner.

"So what now?" Henry asks looking confused.

"You rest, learning takes time. Maybe, I can help you with your business. I have a strict diet you know." Harbek sternly said before entering his house.

Henry scratches his head and gets to his room. He tried to sleep but the weirdness that happens to his 1-hour life change him drastically.

"Shit my life....." He jumps off the bed and got to his kitchen. Henry washes his face and started to wake himself up. He knocks on the wooden floor before Harbek's mushouse.

"Hhmm... What? I'm sleeping you know?" Harbek got out rubbing his eyes wearing black pajamas with a hood.

"I can't sleep and this is strange, very very strange so give me some book for start-up or exercise," Henry complains waiting for his response with his arms crossed.

"Geezzzz... You human sure are impatient." Harbek said going back in and toss a small black pearl toward Henry.

"That is a black magic core. Swallow it and meditate to locate where it goes. When you know where it is try to leak some of the energy out just don't aim at others." Harbek reminded and enter again to sleep.

Henry got back to his bed and sit on the mattress. He stares at the black pearl before swallowing it with a glass of water.

"Hm. Just that? No pain or anything?" Henry ask in confusion and started to meditate. In just a few seconds he drifted to trace like he was being pulled inside his body. Henry then found himself floating around a glistering black sphere.

"Here you are... So I just need to know where is your position." Henry feels himself being push out and it seems like being in zoom out.

"Why throat? I'm not a maniac pirate that curse every sentence." He complains and started to feel again inside his throat with his eyes opens with a huge frown.

"There you goo... *fart...* Ohh... Wrong switch. Let's try it again.... *fart.....* uhhm. Newbie mistake....*fart.....* okay... Let's take some rest." Henry opens the window like nothing happens besides his covered nose and red tearing eyes. As burnt shit covers the whole room. He set up a fan to the window and run out of the room.

*Hurried steps*

"Hey!! Why am I farting every time I tried to use some of the black energy?" Henry yelled at Harbek's mushouse.

"WHAT NOW!!! Can't you let me sleep!!!" Harbek got out with red eyes huffing hard as he stares at Henry.

Henry stared at him then hurriedly got to the bookstore and opens the cabinet on the cashier. Reaching for one pink book he walks back and puts it in front of the angry gnome.

'AUNTY CAUGHT ME RED HANDED'

It was the title of the book in pink cursive font and illustration of a mature woman who has a wide smirk that makes a man have high blood pressure.

"*Cough.* so what do you want?" Harbek said shrinking the comic book and make it float like a scared text toward his house.

"Can I have some book for introduction for reference?" Henry asks and Harbek nodded and toss a tiny book out of his house that quickly enlarges once Henry caught it in the air.

'Did I hear my own ding? naaahhh... but Black Magic Book Acquired!'
