9 Final Touch

Henry quickly packs clean his wound without removing his mask. He didn't want to risk the police being chase by that fanatic man.

"Thanks," They rest on a secluded roadside. Henry stands before a fire. He burns all his clothes after changing into a new black jacket. He also removes the sit that has been stained by his blood.

"So who are you?" The young police name Norman asks.

"Just a traveler," Henry replied.

"Can you tell me what is happening? I think I'll go insane if I don't get the answer," he said as his hand trembles holding the cigarette.

"Those you see are real things but having you know more will just make you a target," Henry said preparing to leave.

"Why did you burn my patrols sit?" He asks confused.

"Blood, if you don't want to die without knowing. Keep all samples of DNA destroyed," Henry left the man and he waited for him to leave. Henry then goes further and buries the bag he is carrying after changing into another pair of clothes. From head to toe, he looks different from his height and figure.

Henry did a measure to fool people on his body figure. It was one of the things he learns from books. When you are being followed, they tend to just focus on your body identity. Adding a few clothes will bloat him and higher sole will mislead height identification.

Henry only left the forest when the night came and people start to travel. He hired a cab and got back home.

"Harbek!! I'm finished collecting 15 spirits! There is also a fanatic in this town! I met him this midnight almost killing me." Henry enters the kitchen and started to cook.

He left the grimoire secured by hiding it in the front door compartment. Henry then orders 3 chicken. He then created a makeshift barn in the basement. He will store all livestock he needed inside that place.

------

Nothing happened for the past week besides the circulating rumors about a fight between two people at the church at midnight with police being caught in the crossfire.

They said that both fighters have unimaginable powers as the ninja wears full black that seems to blend into the night with a blue shield on his left hand. A hooded man that summons a hound that almost killed the ninja.

Henry had a good laugh when he heard the story. Lucky for Po1 Norman, the fanatic didn't seem to want to chase after him.

Harbek has completed the ritual preparation. They were just waiting for the perfect time to use it.

"Haaa! You sure are unlucky. You almost die before you even explode. You made a good job on your task. I'm really happy to be your contractor. After this, I will have some vacation away from you," Harbek said and Henry remember something.

"I remember you said about The Tower? What about that fanatic? Won't he chase after me?" Henry asks with confusion on why Harbek seems to be unbothered by the unidentified assailant.

"The Tower is the society of magic that keeps us all monitored. They keep the security at a minimal level making sure no Demon King ever rises or a Devil enters Mortal World. They won't keep you alive but just put a knife above you for a contingency plan if you are ever gone insane. There are tonnes of bad things that happen when a warlock is born. Like Flu, Black Death, and Influenza. Those are made by insane warlocks. The Tower was made when the Black Death was created. It made the Dimension have a massive power imbalance. That Fanatic? He won't touch you but you need to pay him after this. Equal exchange, there is no good and bad magic just the people and their questionable usage of it," Harbek said leaving for his house to have a good rest.

------

Night has come.

As part of the ritual, Henry soaks in his bathtub with bath salt as part of cleansing. He washes for an hour preparing for the ritual. He already has a very pale skin that is only seen from the dead.

He has a faint blush from the hot shower that only gave him comfort. He goes out and Harbek stands out of the backyard. The grasses were all uprooted from the ground with only white powder running on the brown soil.

A huge circle was at the inside of it is 3 triangles. Two creating a hexagram and one at the center of the two interconnected.

"Stand at the very center. When I said to unseal the spirits do it quickly." Harbek said. Henry just stands at the very center as Harbek slowly navigate around the backyard putting the livestock on the ground stunned.

"Do I have you say anything later?" Henry asks feeling bored as the tension earlier left him after 15 minutes standing.

"Nothing, just stand there quietly and tell me if something bothers you," Harbek replied checking things for the third time as Henry reminded.

"How will it work?" Henry asks again.

"I will have set up the ritual program already. This circle on the ground is called Merkaba Circle. It will combine the three energies inside you to create a new type of magic core. I tried to think about separation but your weak body will be destroyed before it even happens. Just a perfect thing to do," Harbek said with a wide smirk.

"So if that ritual will kill me in explosion then this? Will almost kill me with increasing pain rather than instant. What will I get after this?" Harbek then stares at him like it's the answer is already there.

"So I will live?" Harbek nodded at him.

"So no benefits are known?" Harbek nodded again.

"Will I receive hidden benefits to being explored?" Harbek then nodded again with now a malevolent grin. Henry chooses to shut up after thinking.

The night clouds on the sky seem to be in full motion as the moon unhindered blessed Henry with its light.
