23 Aftermath II

It has been a day when Henry finally can leave the ward but they hold it before a meeting and it will be inside the ward. One thing they discover. Ward is a sacred place and no one will try to do anything here as making a ruckus will surely be blacklisted by all healers.

"Elder Camilla, can we hold a meeting here? I don't think it will be safe for us until we can get sufficient power. They will surely attack us again if we try to hold a meeting in any place," Navea begs Elder Camilla. She was caressing her leaf before nodding at them and leave.

"I'll call everyone we can get," Jin left quickly.

"What is your plan?" Henry looks at Navea.

"I'm planning on creating a party system. It's becoming dangerous and someone from our class already dead with three attempts," Navea sadly said. She starts to makes spaces by rearranging other beds.

"Well, well, well... Look who is here. A rat and a cockroach," a red-robed man with blonde hair and long ears of an elf.

"Hello, how is your day?" Henry said with a smile and the Elf frown at him.

"Do you need anything? I'd help if I can," Henry added stopping him from replying.

"Tsk... Let's go."

They left without any more words making the ward quiet again.

"Hmm..."

Navea just nods at Henry as she sits on the side.

In a few minutes, someone enters the ward and this continues until 15 black apprentices arrive inside.

"Jin who was it outside?" Navea ask.

"Yeah, bad... They look like we are meat. Someone tried to attack us but all we can do is defend as the Instructor walking around the Tower is watching us. They seem to wait for us to counter..." Jin replied sitting on the ground beside Henry. He gave a fist bump to him and they just stay silent.

"Why did you call us?" Kellen asks with another nodding.

"I'm suggesting to create a party system. I'm asking if you all can help me and yourself to remain safe here," Navea quickly said. Making others think.

"But why do we need to risk being here if we can leave the Tower and ask for someone to teach us?" A big orc with a tusk coming out of the side of his mouth replied. He stood about 2 meters high wearing a large black leather coat. Beside him is also an orc but more feminine with her non-existing tusk and soft chin face.

"No Oghar, we can't leave... I already tried to file a vacation and leave but it was denied. When you get out for resources hunting, we will be tracked by a spell and our earnings will also be taxed by 70%..." Replied the feminine orc beside him.

"What!? You tried to leave without me!!?" Oghar shouted in anger but he stops when everyone stares at him.

"Do your argument later. We have a formal meeting here," Kellen said.

"Haaaa... Apology, So I believe we are stuck here," Oghar finally accepted.

"Yes, except when someone coming from the outside will help us," Navea added and everyone looks at each other until they shook their heads.

"Harbek... Yeah, my contractor will come here in a year," Henry said and their eyes glow in hope.

"Can he help us leave here?" Kellen asks with anticipation.

"I don't know... I'm only with him for 2 weeks but I know he is powerful. Everyone who's the goal of being a husband of a fairy Queen will surely be powerful right?" Henry ask. He has a suggestive tone but everyone just looks at him like an idiot.

"No, he is right... I remember now... Harbek is one of the title bearers of Grand Black. I heard about rumors of him trying to court the Fairy Queen but was denied by the council," the female fairy that sits behind Henry join the conversation.

"That's great... We have a chance but one problem is how do we get out? They will surely target us. I'm sure those fanatics will create more trouble," Kellen said with disgust.

"Who?" Navea asks with a frown.

"Those that didn't come with us. The 9 fanatics, yeah... They worship a God which I don't know. They wanted to fight and oppose their leader Migavo. Now, they think Migavo is at God's Embrace. Stupid fanatics! Hehehe..." Kellen replied making everyone know that he clearly hates fanatics and also gave information that a group will make it hard for them.

"So what now?" Jin asks weakly.

"I suggest we divide ourselves into two-party. Each party will have two residential rooms with 4 per room. We will forsake our privacy for safety. Can we do that?" Navea asks doing the role of a leader.

"Nothing for me..." Jin replied and everyone follows.

"Great... We will pick a stick," Kellen said pulling out sticks from his bag. They look at him weirdly.

"What!? I expected this to happen," Kellen said making the tense atmosphere relax.

Henry got a short stick, Jin has long and Navea pull out a short one.

"Met your groups," Kellen happily goes toward Orc Couple. Henry and Jin shared a look with Henry having a wide smirk. Jin then got shocked as he looks at Kellen's long stick.

"Fuck....."

Henry got a good laugh as he looks at his state. Navea walk toward him and raised her short stick. The total Black Apprentice inside the ward is 17 with the Long stick group having a plus one. The group consists of two humans, Henry, and a fully covered silent unknown gender human. Henry feels bad for him/her wearing such hot clothing. Navea being the sole Nymph, Balto, a gnome with a super weird thing. He proclaims he is a goblin shaman. An Identical Twin Gnome, Taz, and Gaz introduced themselves that love to pranks others. Jiggle, a black smile, and finally Vinz, the exiled Elf.

"So who's room are we gonna occupy?" Navea asks with Henry raising his hand with another two being Taz and Gaz but everyone ignores the twin filtering them from the start.

"Let's go first," Navea suggested and the group left.
