The old man looked at Mu Xujiu was he seeing correctly did he just sign and say she could work with them were they serious he was always shunned by family and friends because of his granddaughter she had a disability he only had his granddaughter left after her parents died in a car collision.
They lost all their wealth after that they were just basically surviving because of the shares he owned that was given to him by Mu Zain after he helped him out at the time he didn't think much of it until they lost everything and this became their lifeline.
The old man teared up Anna came over with tissue and handed it to him:" Uncle don't worry my children are good they will take good care of your granddaughter I seen everything she will achieve great things given the chance to let her come on Monday" she looks at the Elder.
Elder looked at his granddaughter smiled, her best smile she sighed and then nodded.
Anna turned to Mani Lilly and signed:" see you on Monday okay" she patted the girls head and walked out.
Leaving a girl that jumping for the joy she hugged her grandfather he smiled gently to see her so happy. He couldn't believe that the Mu's of all people would help them he felt that is luck was finally changing he felt if he died tomorrow his precious granddaughter would be taken care of he was truly happy today.
Anna was feeling extra tired today she thought it was her body of say have a brake and have rest Anna thought she would go home and rest for a bit before she plans her next search for Mu Yazhe. As they all headed out They were tired come Monday they would be taking the whole responsibility of the companies although Mu Musin had everybody behind him he still felt overwhelmed he admired his father the way he handled the board members where he could control them and keep them in check. But he was lucky because his grandfathers stepped in and got rid of some of the troublemakers.
Anthony was driving Anna was next to him:" Uncle I want to travel to a small island on the outskirts of Italy to take a look okay there they have a small hotel so that will give us an excuse to look around okay:" she looked at the floor while talking.
Anthony ruffled the top of her hair:" okay baby girl we will go where ever you want" he smiled hoping to see his baby girl smile he hadn't see her laugh in a long time.
As they all parked their cars and walked in Anna phone rung it was Amelia:" hey blue Rose how are you what are you doing" she chuckled hoping her sister would chuckle too.
Anna:" hey Jade I am fine and we just back from the board meeting it was interesting, to say the least" she was relieved that everything went so smoothly.
They talked about this and that then ended the call Amelia had been ringing regularly to make sure Anna was alright. Amelia, know Anna only too well she knows she would bottle her feelings and they burst out unexpectedly she was worried also she was exhausting herself out but Anna being Anna she wouldn't listen to anyone.
Anna got out of the car walked in the house as she changed her shoes she felt extremely dizzy Anna thought I need to hit the sack a good rest is what I need as she walked she made to the stairs Anthony was walking towards her she turned to look at him but her dizziness was too much she put her hand out to grab on to him she lost consciousness luckily Anthony was close he caught her before she hit the ground he lifted her and yelled for them to call the doctor he was heading out with her in his arms the rest that where downstairs followed him and Adrain rung the doctors to say them they were bringing her in.
They arrived and the doctor has expected them they took her straight in after all the checks were done Anna moved to a room. The doctor looked at all of them outside waiting he was used to this crazy family was Mu Yazhe friend as well and knew want had happened he called Anthony over and walked him to the office as they closed the door they sat down.
Doctor:" okay Uncles you need to take good care of Anna more now not let her exert her self too much she needs plenty of rest and no snack foods she needs lots of fruit and vegetables I will be recommending some extra vitamins and folic acid her irons a very low as well for her she needs to come in for regular checks and most of all not let her get more depressed it a not good"
Anthony spoke:" hey doc that's all very well but what's wrong with my baby girl"
The doctor chuckled:" your baby girl is going have babies of her owns okay it's a shame Mu Yazhe isn't here to see this he would be shocked at best" he looked at the all.
Anthony was gobsmacked he looked at Adrian who looked at James who looked at Ed he looked at the doctor they all said:" what she is what" they looked like they're been struck by lighting.
Doc to:" sorry I thought you guys would be happy you are going to be grandpa's she expecting twins I heart two heartbeats" he smiled awkwardly.
Anthony:" We are that's a bit of a shock it would be very happy if Yazhe was here so we don't know how Anna is going to react as well she is unpredictable these days oh my God that's she has been so off the is pregnant the midnight snacking in the fridge the puking in the morning and running from the kitchen when making mincemeat my baby girls are having babies holy moly?
They all walked in a daze all the others stood outside looking on at them. Little tiger came over and signed:" want did the doctor say, Grandpa"
Anthony looked at them all:" well the thing is Anna is pregnant she is expecting twins" he smiled widely maybe this was the miracle they needed to sort this all out it would keep Anna grounded for the next couple of months.
They all looked at each other and then cheered they were loud really loud the nurse and to cause them out of the hospital.
But as they were all kicked out they soon realised there was nobody beside Anna who was still unconscious. Anthony ran back in and told the nurse that Anna was alone she needed him so she only let him the others had to go home. They weren't happy but left anyway they could celebrate when Anna got back.
As Anna came round she looked to see the smiley face of her Uncle Anthony Anna thought he is usually chirpy but what was the extra smile about he got himself a girlfriend, at last, this is good very good.
Anna:" so Uncle when I meet her" she looked at him sheepishly.
Anthony:" meet who? What are you talking about did you already know and not tell us, baby girl! " he looked at Anna with a sad face.
Anna:" what? are you talking about now did know what you are not making any sense at all? Anna looked confused.
Anthony smiled awkwardly:" sorry baby girl just exited in becoming a grandpa that's all" he gave her a big smile.
Anna looked at him:" what? Who? When? Where? she looked at him questionably.
Anthony looked at her so many questions in one go:" well we found out today as for who it's you and when the doc said six months ago so I am assuming it was before Yazhe left and where only you know care to share the details, baby girl? He was only teasing he didn't want to know.
Anna:" what I am pregnant OMG" Anna was surprised happy sad and confused at the same time she didn't know what to feel at this moment she needed to process this all.
Anthony:" are you okay baby girl you're shocked it's all okay when you digested all the information then we will celebrate okay" he didn't know want else to say he knew she would miss Mu Yazhe the most right now but it's best to just be there for her what else could they do.
Anna:" Uncle I am tired and hungry could you get me the chicken soup from the xxxxxxx restaurant it's nice" she looked at her uncle as, please.
Anthony:" okay is an I will baby girl" he smiled and left.
Anna wanted him to go she wanted to be alone she needed to think things through how could she be pregnant she was sure she took her medication so what was going on it wasn't the right time she still needed to find Mu Yahze she had the business they had taken over was God testing her patients to see when she would crack she thought I don't have the luxury of cracking when so many people were relying on her the burden was too great but she was ready to accept any challenge.
For her, she was treating this as one of her missions was the best way to cope because if she gives her self time to stop and think and grieve she would surely breakdown not being able to find Mu Yazhe is slowly breaking her inside but to everyone she puts on a solid front. Anna thought it through and picked her phone up she dialled a number.
Anna:" hey how are you when are you coming back," she asked from curiosity.
The caller:" hey you too you good we should be back tomorrow anything up" the person asked worriedly.
Anna:" no nothing bad it's good news for you when you both come back to come and see me I need to talk to okay" she places the phone down then looked at her belly and sighed:" sorry little ones someone needs you more than mummy and they are the best people to take care of you okay that doesn't mean mummy doesn't love you she loves you very much" she sighed again.
Anthony walked back in the room with the soup and saw Anna had gone back to sleep he didn't disturb her he sat quietly with his laptop finishing off his pending work. From time to time he would glance at Anna he thought this baby girl of mine has had more downs than ups every time she thought about leaving the underworld behind something or another would drag them all back. He sighed at thought of his baby girls sad face she tried her best to cover the misery she is feeling but they all know what turmoil was going inside of her. He wished he had a wand and magically take all the pain and hurt away from his previous baby girl Alas if it was only possible.
Anna woke up to see her Uncle sat there staring out of the window she looked and thought what is he thinking:" erhm Uncle I am hungry:" she sounded a little kid.
The door open and Adrain walked in with food from home he walked over and kissed Anna forehead:" how you feeling Missy did you manage to get rest" he smiled as he stroked the top of Anna's head.
Anna grabbed his hand and pulled him for a hug she needed somebody to hug she needed the warmth of her Uncles fatherly hug she had made the biggest session of her life by her self and she was weakening in the side because she didn't it was the right one she didn't speak just held on tightly to her Uncle.
Anthony was brought back to earth crashing by her voice he smiled:" hey baby girl you are wake I will pour so e soup you go and wash up okay he patted her head" he smiled to see her hugging Adrain then he saw his tightly she held on and thought she is up to something and he is also scared does it have so etching to do with the babies he only hoped it wasn't what he was thinking.
