I don’t know how the story got such a high rating but let me break it down for you. IT SUCKS. The fl can be described in one word ✨obedient✨ you’ll see this word a lot when referring to the female lead. And the word is practically synonymous with the word doormat because that’s what she is. She’s setting the women’s rights back at least a good 100 years. But don’t worry because her doormat self is put together with the most toddler like male lead. Yep I said toddler. Because he acts like a child all the time. Throwing tantrums and treating her like a toy that he doesn’t want to share with the other boys even though he threw it away and has a new shiny toy. Even when the woman (fl) delivers nothing but straight facts in an argument he just tells her “don’t say those things” like he doesn’t want to hear them so he shouts at her to shut up ✨real attractive✨. And despite initiating the divorce he refuses to do anything to get it done because he’s in ✨denial✨ In fact denial is another word that is perfectly synonymous with the male lead nothing is his fault everything is because he’s being forced by these two women 🙄. It’s Misogyny on paper 🙃. I read some bad web novels it comes with the territory but he’s got to be the number two worst male lead I’ve ever read. And to give you some context the number one spot belongs to a rapist abuser. So yeah if you like hurting yourself then please read this book if you want to be aggravated to death 🙃

This is based on 40 chapters & the review is only high because of the translation quality. From the title & synopsis, I knew this was going to be an annoying story. I do feel bad for FL loving ML for many years but it's so frustrating to see her give in to the white lotus time & time again. We have repeated scenes of the white lotus coming to FL asking her to divorce when it is ML who keeps putting it off. Speaking of ML, he's the wishy washy type of character that you will hate. He's the one who wanted to get divorced to marry white lotus but he finds any excuse to keep putting it off & even gets upset that FL is trying to follow his orders of divorcing. This isn't a story that is worth getting selected nor should readers spend time/money on it.

Spoiler not so spoiler ahead Okay so i was hoping for a sweet remorse regret story, but what I got was only the same plot from chapter one. So ml requests a divorce and then is so shameless to actually feel wronged when she does everything he asks for without complaint. Like: " i asked you for a divorce and you dare to actually give it to me without begging me not to divorce?! How heartless of you!!" then just because he is petty and crazy to think that his wife should fight for the husband who cheats on her, he refuses to divorce and reacts ridiculously to everything fl does while sending mixed signals and gaslighting fl. Ridiculous from beginning to end.

I’m not the type of person to make reviews but I hate this novel so much. Nothing happens. Like nothing happens. I don’t think the author understands his or her characters at all. The author was like “usually FL is rational, but…” yada yada, but I don’t see it at all. Where is rationality? Did it fly out the window once I started reading the novel? If you’re into the same discussion repeated over and over, be my guest. I’ve read novels with the same plot repeated over and over with different characters but this one just takes the cake. They’re literally still discussing the thing they discussed from chapter 1. I’m so close to isekaing and smacking these “geniuses” in the head.

I'm just curious why so many people criticize this story so I was forced to read it but now I regret it because I wasted my time. This is all I can say about the male lead, very stupid (easy to fool), and indeed brainless like what other readers said. Maybe the author is just a beginner.

ML Comes up with all kindS of excuses to divorce yet still says he wants to marry the other woman Out of some sense of guilt. He can’t even tell when he’s being played. FL lets the ML bully her all the time and also gets played by the other party. Worst characters ever. I cant stand female characters that let themselves get treated like 💩

Idk why this has a high rating as it is just a waste of time, I like the sypnosis and decided to read it but when I actually read the story it is not like what is on the sypnosis. I thought this would be like another strong divorced fl but NO, they will not be divorcing! Just a pure waste of time.

This is the worst novel on Webnovel by far. The male lead is dumb but the female lead is dumber for taking him back despite being terribly abused by an unrepenting wishy-washy jerk. I guess that makes me the dumbest for wasting my time and money on this. 🤦‍♀️ Don’t waste yours.
