Foiled Plans Part 1

After breakfast, they all gathered in the living room except Auntie Fiona, she went back to her room because she wasn't feeling like sitting with them.

"You need to rest Max, you look like a mess. Cancel your appointments for today, I'll talk to Sasha and I'll tell her to send your work here and you'll only touch them after you've gotten a good amount of sleep." Clarissa said,

"Did you just refer to him as a she?" Maxwell asked.

"Sasha prefers to be called she, she complains every time you disrespect her by calling her a guy, you should be used to her by now you know."

While everyone was talking and laughing in the living room, Auntie Fiona was in her room pacing back and forth, and she was furious. "How come? I did everything right, the evidence was foolproof, how come they are back together?"

"That bitch has been spoiling my plans from day one, she has been a wall between me and my goals. I have tried to make sure that Maxwell fails at doing his job so my son can take over but nothing works." She pulled her hair in frustration and gritted her teeth against each other.

"Should I get you drugged again and hook you up with another woman? What do you want me to do Maxwell so you'll just fail, so you crumble to dust and hit rock bottom?" Her eyes flared up with cage rage.

"The plan was to hook you up with Morgana so your father would be disappointed in you but he wasn't instead he got you two married, I thought you will fail because a Marriage done without love doesn't work out but you were able to do it and after the divorce, I expected you to fail at work because of the heartbreak but you instead became a workaholic, and now you are back together with that bitch."

Auntie Fiona has been the one behind everything, under that good Auntie act, she has been planning on how to make Maxwell fail but her plans always backfire.

... Flashback....

One year eight months ago.

Maxwell and his friends also known as the three most wealthy bachelors in New York City, were supposed to meet up at their favorite spot in the bar but something came up and they couldn't show up. He didn't want to go back home so he decided to have a few drinks since he was already there. He left the private room because he didn't want to be there alone, he went to the bartender took a seat and waited for him to give him one of his finest liquor.

Sitting next to him was Morgana, she was drinking non-stop and weeping, it looked like she was going through something major. Maxwell didn't bother to ask why she was crying and drinking in a bar all by herself but he could hear her cursing someone under her breath, a certain Boston.

Auntie Fiona entered a few minutes later, she wore ripped jeans and a crop top, and she had a cap on her head. She looked like someone in her early twenties, God bless her genes. Auntie Fiona searched the bar until her eyes met Maxwell who was drinking and texting, she saw the girl next to him who was already wasted and in tears.

She decided to sit and wait for the right opportunity to carry out her plans. She wanted to make a video of Maxwell drunk and post it on the internet to show how irresponsible he is but then something clicked in her mind 'Why settle for something small? Step up the game. Hook him up with the drunk girl, this is better than posting a video of him drunk.'

Maxwell left for the bathroom, Auntie Fiona rushed to the bartender, "Hey good evening, I have a job for you." The bartender stared at her waiting for her to continue.

"The guy who just left, I want you to spike his drink, when he is drunk you'll carry him to one of the private rooms and hook him up with this girl next to him." She whispered.

"And what do I get out of this?" The bartender asked. This is not the first time someone has asked him to spike the drink of one of his customers, he does it anyway as long as it pays him well.

"Five hundred bucks." She pulled out cash from her purse.

"Sorry ma'am but I can't do such a risky job for just five hundred bucks, make it a thousand and I'll do it."

Desperate to get what she wanted, she paid him a thousand dollars. She went back to her seat when she saw Maxwell coming back, he gulped the remaining content in his glass and asked for a refill. The bartender mixed his drink and while doing that he spiked it before giving it to him.

Maxwell gulped the entire liquid in one go, a few minutes later he started feeling dizzy, he tried to stand but he fell back down into his seat.

The bartender called someone to replace him for five minutes, Auntie Fiona rushed to them, "Help him and I'll carry her."

He carried Morgana, the poor girl didn't even know what was happening, she didn't know where she was. The bartender smirked when he saw Auntie Fiona struggling with Maxwell. They went into a private room placed and them on a bed and left.

"Thank you, please don't breathe a word out of what just happened to anyone, I'll come back to you if I ever need your help again but for now, I don't know who you are and you don't know me."

"Don't bother yourself, this is not the first time I've done this for a customer, I know how to act like I don't know anything. As long as you pay me well, I don't know you and you don't know me, I don't want to lose my job by exposing what we just did, I'm not stupid." He smiled and left, Auntie Fiona went back to the bar and waited.
