My body felt different to the past as I stepped forward, rushing along the forest ground, crushing the small bushes and twigs with each stride as my breathing increased rapidly while my mind became extremely focused.
The second my Vampiric Reflexes kicked in, I transformed into a predator.

I couldn't see Rena or Yuzu because I was charging the fifteen goblins ahead.
Focusing my gaze on the enemy, I locked onto the three archers standing in the trees atop the branches as my legs tensed, pushing off the ground and hopping onto a thick tree, desperate to grab the thick trunk.

I groaned, feeling the sharp bark almost slicing my hand that grabbed it, tearing half the tree naked before landing on a thick branch, swaying before three arrows penetrated the air. I was standing a second before with three eye-opening thuds.
Pushing my hand forward, my bow appeared the crude longbow almost at the end of its life due to the constant fights recently.
As my body lowered, woosh, an arrow just missed my right cheek, tilted to the side, another slicing my armour while my fingers pulled out five iron arrows, which I stole from bandits.
The heaviness and feel of their smooth shafts and well-made tips were a world apart from my old arrows.

My fingers wrapped several arrows, with two knocked as I fully drew my bow, aiming at the goblin archers with a crimson swirl of mana at the tip of my arrows.

Once my focus reached the maximum, the world slowed by 0.4 seconds.
The goblins' movements and the drawing of their bows became sluggish as I shot my two sharp iron arrows, their long bodies dancing around each other like a serenade of death before penetrating two of the archers through their throats, bypassing their leather armour as green blood spurted from their falling corpses.
A huge number appeared in bright gold above their heads.

My body moved at almost normal speed thanks to the Vampiric Reflexes that boosted all my movement by 0.3 seconds, including my vision, hearing and movement.
Twisting my abdomen and lowering myself, my thighs tightened as the muscles began to swell before I leapt from the branch towards the final goblin, snapping the wood as two spears penetrated the air along my arc, slicing my thigh and abdomen.
Yet my body jumped more than fifteen yards to reach the small green monster and slammed my fist, holding three arrows into its face.
I could feel the flesh and bone breaking as my hand pushed into the goblin.
Three iron arrows sliced through the green skin, and my hand penetrated its skull before the force sent the goblin's head flying into the distance.

My side felt warm, the heat from the small cut burning me. Did they apply poison to their weapons? Was my first thought as I swapped to my lance, flicking it around my wrist before stepping off the branch and smashing down on the face of a goblin swordsman, crushing him with the power of my weight added to my strength.

I felt the slight strain on my eyes and muscles 1from overusing my Vampiric abilities to their limits, causing me to change my approach and relax my reflexes and vision to 0.2 seconds to ease the impact on my body as the two goblin swordsmen attacked me violently instantly after I killed the spearman that cut my stomach.

The strikes of the goblins were weak but skilled, and they were nothing like the ones we fought before the bandits. Another two attacks came from the spearmen beside them, and another swordsman attacked my flanks the moment I stepped back.

They tried to swarm me with their eleven-to-one advantage, but I wasn't the same as before. I blocked to strikes with the black shaft of my lance, using their momentum and force to push my body further back while sweeping the blade across the two attacking my flanks, cutting their throats with a swift twist of my body forced to step backstep rapidly to avoid their charge in retaliation.

Twirling my lance, I blocked two sword slashes, sparks flying through the air before the third stabbing spear just missed my cheek.
The goblin's yellow eyes were murky but filled with confidence as it let another smaller goblin step on its back and lunge through the air towards me with a stone mace!

There was no time for a fancy counter or dodge, so instead, I trusted my black goblin armour and rushed forward, hitting the goblin with my elbow as his blade sliced across my chest, causing a loud ching sound and sparks to fly while the loud cracking of its neck resounded in my ears.

The bastards didn't give me a second, and like hungry wolves, all of the remaining eight jumped at me, no longer the calm and collected goblins; their blades stabbed and twisted, trying to gut me.
I only saw bloodlust in their murky yellow eyes.

My body began to dance like an elegant noble to avoid each blade.
It wasn't my intention to do so, but spinning with the black and red lance while avoiding their attacks effortlessly... at least to the naked eye must have looked great.

A burst of flames suddenly melted two goblins into ash, the beautiful fingertips of Yuzu pointing towards them like a gun, which Rena seemed to have taught her.
While my tanned beauty, with her lovely black hair, smashed the last three goblins in one for a home run, her mace turned their heads into a paste with a brutal strike as her breasts swung from side to side due to her force.
