Cool party

Not long after lunch, Jane came downstairs from her room, holding a textbook. She was heading towards the door, but got caught by her mother.

"Would you mind telling me where you are sneaking off to, missy?" Lauren asked the startled Jane.

"Why would you say that? I'm not sneaking. I uhm... I've classes at three." Jane replied without turning back to look at Lauren.

"Oh really? Why didn't you bother to say goodbye first?" She questioned Jane suspiciously.

"I'm running a bit late, so I didn't bother." Jane wanted to escape more questions. She intended to dash out before her mother could say a word, but she had only taken a step forward when Lauren continued talking.

"If that's the case then I'll have Kai drop you off at your school. He is my personal driver, so I trust him enough to take you to 'your school'." She stressed the last two words to pass across a message.

Jane who had not been looking at her mother, quickly turned around to face her. "That's not necessary. I could just go with Jon instead. Or why stress Jon when I could just board a cab? I love you, bye." She said in a rush and tried running, but Kai suddenly walked through the door.

"Perfect timing Kai, you are always there when I need you." Lauren said with relief, while Jane was shooting daggers at him through her deadly glare, which made Kai swallow.

He began to wonder what he had he done this time that the little demoness was looking at him like she would snap his head off from his body in seconds. He quickly avoided her gaze and looked at Lauren. "What do you need of me, madam?" he asked.

"I want you to drive Jane to her school."

"Okay madam."

Lauren's face suddenly turned serious. "Mind you, I said to drop her at her school not a mile away from her school. It must be directly at her school gate and you must watch her till she is in."

Kai nodded. "Yes madam."

"Okay then. Bye!" Jane said and hurriedly pulled Kai along with her to the garage. She stopped in front of an SUV and said "We are using this car." but Kai did nothing but stared at her, which made her run out of patience.

"And what are you waiting for? Bring out the damn key already! Remember my mom said to drop me off directly at my school's gate." She said while making air quotes as she said the last two words and smiled maniacally at him.

Kai immediately brought out the key to the SUV and unlocked the car. They both got into the car and he drove off.

On the way, Jane who sat at the back seat, took out her phone. She thought of something for a moment before she went through her contact list and tapped on the name 'Charlotte'.

She sent a text containing a detailed explanation of something to the number and after she went through what she had sent, she proudly smiled to herself.

Kai saw her facial expression through the rearview mirror. 'Oh lord, please save me.' He prayed inwardly as he immediately knew he was in for a surprise and when it comes to Jane, he knew the surprise could never be a good one.

They were still on the way for about twenty-five minutes or so, and the school wasn't far away anymore.

Suddenly a blue Camry TRD maneuvered and stopped right in front of the SUV making Kai almost get an heart attack. He quickly stepped on the brakes to avoid hitting the car. "What the hell." He angrily cursed under his breath.

A young girl of about Jane's age came out of the Camry and approached them. Kai angrily got off from the car with the intention of making the unruly girl know whose car she had just dared to stop.

"Hey! Who do you think you are to obstruct the road? Do you know whose car you just dared to stop?..." Kai was still talking when Jane got off from the car and he felt glad that Jane was going to teach the girl a lesson, but..

"Hey Charl" said Jane to the girl, making Kai utterly surprised.

"Looking cool, Jane." Charlotte replied while looking at Kai, rubbing the fact that they knew each other on his face.

Kai creased his brows "You both know each other?" He asked none of them in particular.

Charlotte ignored him and faced Jane. "I recognized your car immediately I saw it so I decided to stop to give you a lift."

Kai frowned on hearing Charlotte's reason for almost causing such a serious accident. He scoffed "As you can see, I'm already doing that and I'm not complaining. I was given orders to drop her off at her school's gate and that's what I'm gonna do."

Jane got irritated by his words. "Well since my friend and I happened to see each other, I would like to ride and catch up with her, so you can leave now." She said authoritatively.

"But Miss Wilson, your mom asked me to drop you off." He almost sounded like he was pleading.

"So? My friend and I do attend same school and she can take me there herself. Isn't that right?"

Charlotte nodded. "Absolutely right."

"But Miss..." He tried persuading her, but she glared at him and without saying a word to him, she went with Charlotte into the Camry. The Camry soon sped off and Kai couldn't do anything but to watch it.

"What was Mrs Wilson thinking when she asked me to deliver her precious daughter to school? She should know better than anyone else that only she can handle her daughter." He mumbled frustratedly to himself.

"That guy really had the nerves to try and stop you. It was surprising." said Charlotte.

Jane chuckled. "He is my mom's trusted driver, I guess he didn't want to disappoint her or worse, get fired."

"So that means you are safe then, cuz he wouldn't dare to breath a word of this to your mom, except he's tired of his job." Charlotte said as she giggled.

"Uh-huh. So where's the party holding up?" Jane asked.

"At the Anderson hotel. So many people from the school would be there and who knows, I might finally find my Prince Charming." Charlotte said with her eyes sparkling.

"Ugh! Must you always talk about boys?" Jane expressed her disgust.

"If I don't talk about boys, then what should I talk about? Girls?"

Jane rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

"I understand your hatred for guys and all. I also get that you are a tomboy or maybe you are just trying to be one, but you do need a guy in your life, especially that thing between their legs. Like really! I still can't believe you are still a virgin. I can't wait for the day when you get to meet that special guy that would let you out of your cage.."

Charlotte was still talking when Jane turned on the car's radio. It was very loud that Charlotte couldn't even hear herself talk, so she heaved a sigh and increased the speed at which she was driving.

A Lamborghini parked right in front of the gate of the Wilson's mansion and two men in black suits came out of it. One of the men opened the door to the backseat and a third guy came out.

He wore a white shirt and a black suit pants. His shirt was unbuttoned at the chest region, exposing his bare chest and he also had on dark sunglasses. He was dressed so simple, but he still looked like he was dressed with the intention to kill.

"Boss, how do you plan on getting her out of the house?" One of the men asked him.

"Simple." He replied without giving any detailed explanation. He waved his hand in the air and the other guy immediately passed his phone to him.

He sent a text to someone and when the reply came in, a smirk appeared on his face. "She will be out in a minute." He said and the men chuckled.

"There's no one more smarter than my boss." One of them complemented him.

Inside the house, Bella the servant was standing in front of Karen's room. She looked around to see if anyone was in sight before she knocked on the door.

In the room, Karen had been trying to concentrate on the movie she was watching, but she kept on dozing off.

Ever since she woke up in this strange world, all she did was to eat and then sleep, and she was getting so tired of it. She wanted to do something fun, but she didn't know what she finds to be fun.

Thankfully, a knock on the door made her sleepiness disappear. "Who is it?" she asked as she got up from the bed.

"It's me, Bella." Bella said almost in a whisper.

"Bella" Karen repeated it silently, then she remembered when her mother had introduced her to the servants.

"Please may I come in?" Bella asked, after not getting a reply.

"Come in." Karen said and Bella quickly entered her room.

"I didn't mean to disturb you miss, but someone is here to see you." Bella said while bowing her head slightly.

"Someone?" Karen asked.

Bella nodded. "Yes. It's uhm... it's Mr Hendrick." she stuttered a bit.

"Hendrick?" Karen sounding puzzled "but he just left." She added.

"Well, it turned out that he isn't gone yet and he wants to see you. Uhm... but he doesn't want the others to know about it, so he sent me to fetch you." She explained, while avoiding having to look Karen in the eyes.

"Okay, let's go." Karen sounded a little excited. She was starting to get fund of Hendrick.

He was actually the first person she saw when she woke up at the hospital, followed by Lauren who called herself her mother.

"Great." Bella said with relief as she had thought Karen would figure out that she was lying. "Follow me please." She opened the door and peeped to see if they could be seen by anyone.

Bella came out of the room and tiptoed down the stairs, while Karen was kinda having fun imitating what Bella was doing. Soon, they were finally outside the house and they went to the mighty gate.

Meanwhile, the man who had come to see Karen was still waiting for her under the scorching sun. "Why don't you wait in the car, boss? You've been standing for too long." One of the guys said with concern, but he was ignored by his boss.

The gate slowly opened and the two ladies came out. On seeing them, a smile crept on the man's handsome face. "Wow, wow, and wow." He said as he looked Karen from her head downwards.
