Chapter 1Chapter 1 Cultivation World

In the year 2023, humanity experienced an unimaginable disaster. Another civilization from another universe attacked humanity, who referred to them as the 'Devils' These beings had red skin, horns, and sharp red eyes, but otherwise appeared similar to humans.

They showed no mercy, as they laugh seeing their despair as they destroyed and killed half of the world's population.

Just as all seemed lost, a massive battlecruiser arrived, with a fleet of a thousand vessels. A woman stood at the forefront, brandishing her sword towards the demons. As the red devils retreated, the leader of the battlecruiser stepped forward, her sharp eyes scanning the remaining humans with a calculating gaze.

As the woman approached, the sun glinted off her shining golden combat armor, captivating the eyes of everyone around her. The armor wasn't just for show, as it was clear that the person wearing it was a true force to be reckoned with. Her long, flowing hair matched the golden glow of the armor, and her piercing emerald eyes scanned the crowd, searching for the next threat.

But it wasn't just her armor that left people in awe. The woman herself was a sight to behold, with long pointy ears that suggested she was not entirely human. Her sculpted face was the epitome of beauty, and she moved with endless grace and coldness.

As she stood before the stunned humanity, her voice boomed out with an overwhelming power,

"Citizens of this planet, I stand before you as the Queen of Elarion located in another starry planet, dedicated to offer you protection and prosperity. Today, I bring you an extraordinary opportunity. We are prepared to teach 10 of you the secrets of the universe and the ways to transcend the limits of your bodies. However, there is one condition. To gain this knowledge and power, you must join our banner, the Divine Sentinels, committing yourselves to the noble cause of protecting the weak and fighting for peace. Together, we can shape a future where justice prevails, and our universe thrives in harmony. Will you rise to this challenge and embark on this journey with us?"

It was clear that this woman was not just a warrior, but a true leader. And as the people watched her disappear into the distance, they couldn't help but feel inspired and empowered by her presence.

As the woman backed away, a soldier of the Divine Sentinels stepped forward, his pointed ears betraying his otherworldly origin. He handed the humans a thick, leather-bound book with strange, otherworldly symbols etched onto its cover.

It was crucial information meant to reveal the true nature of the universe to them.

"Listen up, mortals," he said, his voice booming with authority.

"We'll be taking 10 of your finest and brave soldiers to be teach about cultivation in our world. With our guidance, you'll learn to harness the power of the universe and rise to heights beyond your wildest dreams. But be warned, this path is not for the weak-willed or faint-hearted. Are you ready to take on this challenge and claim your place among the stars?"

Then 10 people were chosen and was taken by the elven race, after a month humanity had its own cultivator. After a thousand years of training and hard work, humanity finally produced their own set of heroes, known as the Great Saviors. These ten individuals dedicated their lives to protecting humanity from the threats of otherworldly creatures and rogue humans alike.

Their exploits were the stuff of legend, and they inspired a new generation of warriors to follow in their footsteps. To ensure that humanity would endure, the Great Saviors founded a school to teach the art of cultivation.

The Academy quickly became the premier institution for training new warriors, and its students were sought after by governments and private organizations alike. As humanity continued to grow and prosper, they developed more advanced technology, including their own spaceships.

While they were still not quite on par with the Divine Sentinels, who could travel at the speed of light, humanity's ships were fast enough to explore nearby planets and make contact with other civilizations who also joined the divine sentinels.

But even with their advanced technology and powerful warriors, humanity never forgot the lessons they learned from the Great Saviors. The universe was filled with dangers, and they are only the weakest in this universe.

When they were on Elarion, they saw that the planet was massive, even three times larger than the sun. The ordinary citizens there were so powerful that they could cause huge problems for their world if they attacked.

In the year 3023, when humanity had finally achieved a good standing in the universe but still considered the lowest of the lowest, a man who looked about 17 years old woke up in his bed. He sat up, stretched, and yawned.

"Another day in this world. If I'm right, this makes it eight years since I transmigrated here," he mumbled, his gaze was sleepy as he yawned again.

This man was currently 18 years old with a handsome face, sharp brows, clear white skin, a tall bridge nose, and attractive grey eyes. Standing over 185 cm tall, he could easily be considered a model type of guy.

He was about to drift back to sleep when his door was swung open. A girl, around 15 years old, burst in. She had white hair cascading over her shoulders, a cute face with round eyes, puffed cheeks, and two dimples. She flashed a smile with her peerless white teeth as she looked at the guy on the bed.

"Brother, wake up! It's morning now," she said, jumping mid-air and landing on his stomach.

Kairos, who had been about to drift into a deep sleep, was suddenly wide awake, feeling dazed as if his soul was about to escape his body. His pale face didn't go unnoticed by his sister, who giggled mischievously as she sat on his hips.

She placed both hands on his abs, sliding them up to his chest, her body leaning in as she shifted her hips downward. With her face just inches from his, she flashed an evil smile.

"Brother, if you don't wake up, I'll make sure you sleep for a very long time," Sophia teased, a grin spreading across her face as she giggled softly.

Kairos, afraid of his mischievous sister, quickly grabbed her by the waist and pushed her back onto the bed making her gasp. He stood up, glancing at her as she lay there, looking at him seductively.

"Alright, let's go," he said, shaking his head as he pulled on some clothes, having been dressed only in his underwear.

The two of them descended the stairs together. When they reached the dining area, they saw a woman with white hair, clearly in her middle years, setting the table with an array of food. They sat down as she brought over a bowl of soup.

"Hurry up and eat now," Jovelle Evernight said in a low voice.

Kairos and Sophia didn't waste any time and began picking their sumptuous food from the table. Kairos grabbed some rice and a fried egg, while Sophia took a hotdog and ate it without any rice.

Their mother, Jovelle, sat down at the round table, looking at the two. She turned to Kairos and asked, "So, honey, how is your cultivation going? Did you have a breakthrough?"

Kairos, who was enjoying his meal, felt his emotions stir at the sudden question, "Hays, Mom, maybe I should stop and accept my fate. I don't really have any talent when it comes to cultivating," he said with a sigh, feeling downcast.

Jovelle, realizing her son was having a major breakdown again, couldn't help but smack her head, for asking such question.

"Honey, I'm sorry for asking, but you're still young. Maybe your talent hasn't fully awakened yet. Don't give up on your dreams so easily," she said in an encouraging tone.

Kairos just only sighed in disappointment, thinking that even if he was given more years, it would still be all for naught. Even those younger than him had already reached higher levels.

"Mom, thanks for the encouragement, but I think accepting this sooner might be for the best," Kairos said, his voice tinged with sadness.

"My dear son, what did I just say about not giving up? Give it a few days, months, or even years. Nothing will be lost if you just wait," Jovelle said, trying to lift his spirits.

Because no one understood better than her, how deeply her son wanted to become a cultivator. Telling him to give up was like clipping a bird's wings, condemning him to an ordinary life.

"Yeah, brother, Mom is right. You shouldn't give up. But if you do, leave your dreams to your little sister. Since I'll become a famous cultivator for the both of us," Sophia said while eating, not even glancing at them.

Kairos could not help but pursed his lips and did not say anything, since he knows that his sister was talented than him. She had already reached the 5th level of Body Refinement. While he was only at the 4th level in the Martial Warrior stage.

Although he was three years older than his sister, she had already surpassed his current level in cultivation. Instead of feeling disappointed, Kairos felt happy for her potential to become a great cultivator.

Kairos continued eating with a happy expression, noticing his mother seemed like she wanted to say something but was hesitant to talk.

"Mom, what's wrong? Is there something you want to say?" Kairos inquired, seeing the troubled look on her face.

Hearing his question, Jovelle hesitated but then spoke her mind, "Honey, can you manage the shop today? Your mother isn't feeling well," she said, her face blushing slightly.

Noticing her red face and the slight coquettish tone in her voice, Kairos raised his eyebrows. "Did Mom have a sudden ailment?" he asked with concern.

"Did you have a fever, Mom? A stomachache, perhaps? Or is it that time of the month?" Kairos inquired, feeling a bit worried.

Hearing his son's concerned voice, Jovelle couldn't help but feel warmth, "Actually, it's just that I'm tired from partying last night and need to rest a little," she said, her face growing even redder.

Kairos suddenly had an idea there was no party last night, but he remembered the sounds from his parents' room last night that only stopped in the early morning.

"I see, Mom. Don't worry, I'll manage the shop for now," Kairos replied.

"Thank you, honey," Jovelle said softly.

After finishing his meal, Kairos placed his plate in the dishwasher and left the house to open the family store.

Navigating through roads with multiple intersections, he finally arrived at 'Evernight Potion,' the shop run by his family. Their business wasn't widely known, as they mostly sold common-grade potions, with occasional rare stocks of refined-grade potions.

Entering the small shop, he flipped the sign from "closed" to "open" and did some slight renovations. Then, he stood at the cashier's counter, ready to handle payments.

Suddenly, a middle-aged man wearing a worn-out, low-grade armor entered the shop. He wandered around, eventually finding the potion he wanted on the shelf rack.

Selecting three potions, the customer brought them to the counter. "Two common healing potions will be 10,000 pesos, and the Aether regeneration potion will be 20,000 pesos," Kairos explained, detailing the prices.

"That will be around 30,000 pesos, sir," Kairos said.

The middle-aged man nodded and paid the bill. Kairos wrapped the potion in a tote bag and handed it to him as he left. Kairos waited for a while, and soon more customers came into the shop to buy potions and pills.
