289 The Wedding Night

*** Becca's POV 

My heart has been racing, and I hated it. 

Every once in a while, I think about Oden's words, and blush. It was something that I would never have thought to hear from an Elder's mouth, yet when he did, I felt my mind go blank. 

"Now he's yours. Enjoy the wedding night."  He whispered into my ear. 

Now that Elias and I are connected intensely through the bond, I'm sure he can hear my racing heartbeat that popped up occasionally throughout the day. 

It wasn't like I was worried about our wedding night; I knew he would take care of me, but there was no way to dispute this uneasiness. 

I tried to busy myself with paperwork, but when I arrived at my office there was none -probably because Elias ordered for me to have none. Since I didn't have any work, I picked up a book to distract my thoughts.
