2 Chapter 1: Unknown Cave

Ace woke up early in the morning as usual, do his usual business like pushups, sit ups and a 12 km run everyday before going to school. After his exercises he took a shower in his small apartment provided to him by the government. He will soon leave this place because he will try to enlist in the military and has already inquired about it yesterday. He went out of his apartment and walked to school, this is his last day at school and today will also be his graduation. Even though he doesn't poses any ability or magic and doesn't even have an elemental attunement, he still persevered and worked hard that's why he is able to graduate. But the truth is, the teachers of his school doesn't know what to do with him so he might be better off serving in the military. The headmaster of his school already talked about it with the military and General Mclainne agreed to take him in. The general was curious about Ace so he decided to personally train him and also be his guardian. The general and headmaster agreed that the military will take Ace in a week's time. As he was walking, he met boys the same age as him, he recognized them because they were the top of the class and has strong magic. Especially, the boy at the center who is a prodigy and has double elemental attunement. He can control fire and frost at the same but it takes him a lot of mana. He is also the headmaster's son and he learned that the general took a liking at him. These boys started to look for him when they heard that the general will be taking responsibility for him. Ace planned to walk past them and just ignore them since they always bully him at school but suddenly the two boys take hold of his arms and when he was about to retaliate he felt a pain in his neck and was suddenly knocked out. "Carry him to that cave we just discovered Chase, we'll give the beating later. As for now i have to heed father's instructions to have more precise mana control. We mustn't garner any suspicion" said Aamon Grey the headmaster's son. Soon the two boys picked him up and put him on a sack then they carried him to the forest. After almost 2 hours of walking they soon got to their destination, Ace got hit so bad in the nape he was severely injured that's why even though 2 hours have already go by he's still not waking up. The two boys entered a small cave entrance and wiggled their way inside, after about 5 minutes of walking in a cramped space, they finally reached a huge space inside. The two boys carrying the sack tossed it to the side, "Open it Chase! Jack go get some water" said Aamon. Chase then opened the sack while Jack took the bucket on the side he brought earlier and went to a nearby river. Aamon stepped closer to Ace and held his collar "This is what you get for having undeserved attention, a trash and weakling like you should just rot in hell" he snorted scornfully. A minute later Jack came back with a bucket of water, he then splashed it to Ace. A little moment after that Ace regained consciousness and has a confused expression. 'Where the heck am i?' he thought and then he remembered what happened earlier. "You bastards, what did i ever do to you!?" he angrily said. "Ohhh so the shithead now has the audacity to talk just because the general took a liking on him. What a joke!" said Chase. "I didn't even do anything wrong to you guys from the start, why are you always doing this to me!?" Ace said. "Look at his face boss, looks like he's about to cry like shit" said Jack. "Don't blame us for you being tortured and bullied everyday, blame yourself for being such a weakling shithead!" said Aamon. "Why would the general took a liking to such a trash with no magic, you can't even feel mana around you!" he added. Then they started beating him to a pulp, even though he wanted to retaliate, the fight is 1 vs 3 and he also doesn't have magic so he just endured the pain. The three boys soon had their fits and beated him to a bloody mess and then they left. Ace is in such a pitiful condition, his nose is bleeding, his eyes were swollen, 3 ribs are broken and the bone of his limbs is also broken, on top of that he had so many bruises and gashes all over his body. "Is this the end?" he thought, he remembered what his parents' told him when he was young, "You have the power to change the world at your will son, take that to heart even though you have no magic, persevere and work hard to train your body to grow more stronger, never back down and continue to be stronger" he thought that his father meant that he will be stronger if he has a strong physic but right now he can't even beat those three. "I guess this is my end" he said, he sighed and just accepted his fate, but suddenly his father's voice rang in his mind 'You surrendered already? How can you become stronger if you stop at one point! Even though you're tired of everything, don't just surrender because trying till the end helps one to succeed', that is what his father always told him before his father and mother died in the war. Suddenly he tensed and tried to get up but failed to do so, he saw the bucket and tried to hold on it to stand, he managed to sit but he felt very weak he fall off and his chest hit the bucket. He spat out mouthfuls of blood, then dropped to the ground. Suddenly he heard a loud booming noise and a voice rang out

'What? What is this?' Ace thought. 'I've never heard of something like this before' he was confused, but he felt so weak at moment so he can't do anything about it.

Suddenly Ace felt something warm inside of him but the intensity got stronger and stronger, he thought he might feel burned inside but when the intensity of heat reached max he felt pleasure with it. After about 5 minutes of this feeling he felt strong again. He looked at his body and noticed that he was completely healed. Then he remembered the voice earlier, "Hello? is anyone in here?" he asked.

'Greetings host, I am Azazel and i have converted my conciousnes into a system that can bring back my past glory, in exchange i will grant you immense power that no one can stand up against you. Would you accept?' after hearing this Ace got confused. "You said you converted yourself to a system? What kind of being are you before?" he asked a little curious about the system. "I am one of the 12 great Celestial dragon gods that ruled over the Celestial realm, the 12 of us ruled happily and in content or so i thought but when i became a little stronger than my comrades they turned against me and sealed me on a sword. For millions of years here in the mortal realm I have been a sword passed over many emperors. Then one day, the sword broke into pieces because I've been weakening my seal, my wielder just trashed me and I've been abandoned. Then your father picked every single piece of the sword and try to restore it. But before he could do that, the seal was broken but the mortal realm can't withstand my presence and the barrier that the ancient gods created keeps the beings of higher planes out so the forces of barrier tried to eradicate me that's how i lost my physical body. I thought maybe i will just be a wandering spirit but i saw your mother which is pregnant with you so i put my spirit inside your body and converted my conciousnes into a system for you to easily evolve" the long explanation of the system answered all the questions in Ace's mind. "That's so cool! By the way I am Ace, what should i call you?" said Ace. "As i am also part of you now there will be no need for formalities just call me Azazel" the system replied. "You said you will give me immense power? Why do i still feel very weak?" asked Ace. "I have to test you first if you really deserve to be my descendant, you will have to gain my powers little by little and evolve everytime you hit a breakthrough in levels" Azazel explained. Ace was truly awes by this, in fact he was very excited " I will do my best not to disappoint you" he exclaimed. "How do i know my level?" Ace asked. "You only needed to think about your stats and it will show up" Azazel said. Ace tried to think about his stats and a window appeared in front of him.

"How do i evolve?" asked Ace. Azazel just smiled and in an instant Ace was covered by golden light. "This will be your first evolution, it all depends on you to have immense power. If you successfully survive this evolution then you will have a basic dragon body" Azazel explained.
