My name is Kai Johnson. I am the CEO of Johnson Institute. At the moment, life is very complicated.

My ex-fiance is getting married to my dead beat brother. That means when father retires, Alex gets to be the chairman. To take that position first, I need to find a woman to marry.

And I need to find her fast.

Right now I am talking to my college friend, Taylor. "Bro, we should go to a strip club to pick one out," he suggested, leaning against the leather seats of the limousine.

I shook my head, going through my laptop. "No, I want a real woman. Let's go look at our small businesses. If not any fine woman, we might head to a bar or two."

"Let's go!" Taylor said, he rolled down the window that lead to the driver's end. "Kevin, head to Flower Delux!" And we were off.

The search had been horrible!

I've spent three hours in all my bars and cefés looking for the perfect girl. Hadn't found her. Taylor's found some girls... I wish I wasn't present for that.

We might need a woman's perspective on the whole situation. I pulled out my phone and shot Sophia a quick text, then I set my phone in my pocket.

That thought vanished from my head when my stomach growled. "Tay, wanna head for lunch? I'm famished."

"Scottie's?" Taylor asked.

"Scottie's," I confirmed. "Kevin, head to Scottie's, please!"

Kevin nodded and turned on the left turn signal.

The limousine came to a stop. Taylor jumped out and headed into the café. I followed, making the door beep as we walked in.

A short woman walked up to us, her hips swayed left to right, seeming dangerous and graceful. Her smile was amazing. Her lips looked so soft. And her burgundy hair curled all the way down to her shoulder blades. "Hola (hello)! I am Alicia Scott. I will be waitressing you two this afternoon as well as being the owner of this fine establishment. If you have any complaints or problems, come to me. Now, if you'll follow me, por favor (please)."

She led us to a booth. The leathery red seats were so plush and squishy that there was no way you couldn't be comfortable sitting in those booths. Taylor and I sat down, she tossed the menus where our seats were, and then pulled out a notepad and pencil. "Now, what would you two cabelleros (gentlemen) like to drink?"

"You would be just fine, Princess," Taylor said, giving her a smile and a wink.

"Sorry, Señor (Sir), but I don't go for jugadores (players)," Alicia said, shrugging.

"Huga-what...? Um...?" Taylor mumbled, not familiar with the foreign language.

Alicia just giggled. She then turned to me. "How about you, Señor? Anything to drink?"

"Ah, yes! I would like a cup of iced coffee with three pumps of caramel and one pump of chocolate," I said, still admiring her beauty.

"Sí (yes)! Now, jugador (player), anything real to drink?" Alicia asked, raising an eyebrow. Which brought my attention to the eyebrow piercing above her right eye.

Taylor sat in silence for a moment, debating whether he should test the waters. "As a substitute for you, I'll take a sweet tea."

"Good choice. I'll get your drinks and come back to get your orders," Alicia said, folding the notebook into her apron pocket. Which was barely below her breasts.

Heat flowed into my cheeks as they bounced while she pulled her hand from the pocket. She gave one last smile before walking to the back counter to the soda fountains.

"I think I'll get the bacon cheeseburger with fries. You?" Taylor asked, folding the menu onto the table.

"Today, I want to go for the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy," I hummed, hearing the door beep again and Alicia's chirpy Spanish accent.

"Hola! I am Alicia Scott, I will be your waitress for your time here. I am also the owner of this establishment so any concerns or complaints you have, come to me! Now if you'll follow me, Senorita (Miss/Ma/am)!"

"Actually, Miss Scott, I have friends who are already seated." That voice is way too familiar.

"Oh! Lo siento (sorry), Senorita (Miss/Ma'am)! Go ahead and sit with them!" Alicia's voice sweetened.

"It's alright, Miss. Gracias (thank you)!"

Heels clicking against the hard wood floors echoed as Taylor was shoved over and Sophia sat down where he had once been.

"Hola, Kai. You need me?" She asked, looking through Taylor's menu.

"Yes, so you know how I need to be married to take place as chairman in my father's company?" I asked, placing my own menu down.

Sophia folded the menu and looked at me. "Uh-huh. Now, what does this have to do with me? I'm your cousin, and I'm married. This isn't Alabama, Kai."

"Ew, ew, ew, Sophia. That is NOT why I texted you to meet me here," I said, throwing my hands up.

"Okay, then tell me more," Sophia pressed, folding her hands over the menu.

I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "I need to find a woman to be my wife for a few years. It doesn't have to mean anything, I just need to have a reliable one who can keep a secret."

"Look, I know when Jenny left you for Alex, that took your girlfriend of three years, and your spot for chairman. But you can't just find a woman willing to act as a wife. That can be hard, especially a girl who doesn't know a thing about business or fame!" Sophia explained.

"Sorry for the holdup on the drinks, cabelleros. Senorita (Miss/Ma'am), anything to drink? Any orders?" Alicia asked, setting our drinks down and pulling out her notepad and pencil.

Sophia spoke first. "Yes, Miss, I would like the hard beef taco wi extra cheese and a caramel latte, no creamer."

"Got it. And you, Señor?" Alicia turned towards me, full attention on me.

I smiled and gathered the menus. "Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. He will have the bacon cheeseburger with fries."

"Alrighty, gracias Señor-"

The door beeped once more and in walked in a man dressed in a dark black suit and a red tie walked in. Alicia rolled her eyes and bit her lip and kissed her teeth.

She gave a fake smile and turned around. "Hola, Harold. Nice to see you again!"
