Why Is the US Death Rate Rising?

When you get your "mother and child" death rate down, you feel that you get out of the natural evolution. But we didn't, not yet. We need some advanced genetic engineering to make it.

Now comes the price. We are born with less and less average vitality - every generation. And we may end worse off (very much so), than in our starting position.

Same old thing with our antibiotics. We felt godlike in the beginning of the antibiotics era. Now, bacteria and viruses adopt faster than we manage to introduce new powerful drugs. And that's it. We are returning to the starting position here.
