Jorgia's breakdown.

Rose and Jorgia woke up the next day, and they both began the day by washing themselves before departing on their short trip.

Rose was dressed in leggings and a gorgeous top, her hair was tied up with a nice red ribbon, and her eyes looked as though she had been given the gift of sight.

Jorgia enters from the room dressed in one of Rose's outfits, a black shirt and pants, with her hair pulled back into a tiny pony, her curls visible, and her hair tied up with a sparkling rubber band, which complemented the outfit well.

When Jorgia and Rose met their gazes, they exchanged a sweet grin.

Rose stuffed a large file with a slew of white papers inside it and asks "Jorgia, could you assist me with the food and tell me what you'd like to eat for lunch and in between the journey?."

"We'll have something dry as it's going to be a long journey," Jorgia replies, turning back to Rose.

"Great idea," Rose exclaims, "can you prepare anything for the picnic as the staff will be there? I'll quickly go and fetch some stuff from my office,"

Jorgia agrees as she puts on an apron and begins cooking.

Jorgia was still in the kitchen an hour later, closing a lunch box loaded with chicken and vegetables and a little box of butter with sauce.

She created seasoned salad and fruits, which she stuffed with small yoghurt bottles for refreshment, and she zoned out while cooking as Rose approached her and kept her hand on Jorgia's shoulder.

Jorgia shivers and mumbles, "umm.... I'm sorry, I need to use the restroom."

Rose nods as Jorgia moves away from her side.

Rose takes a deep breath as she packs the last of the rice and prawn curry into a clear container and slices cucumber atop it.

Strawberry and almond milk were added to the milk smoothie, giving it an unexpected flavour.

"Should we grab some sweets?" Jorgia asks as she returns from the restroom, seeing Rose packing all the containers into a large bag.

"What about your health?" Rose asks, shaking her head.

 "I'm alright," Jorgia says, flinching.

Rose sends her off with a nod as she prepares to go.

While Rose loads their belongings into the car, they both check every lock in the home before departing.

"Did you get a chance to see your mother?" Rose inquires as she unlocks the automobile door.

"No..... I'll go by the weekend," Jorgia says as she walks in.

"Why don't we visit her?" Rose says as she starts the car, adding, "By the way, I'll stop the car to purchase her some flowers and some fruits."

Jorgia nags Rose to not bend down, but Rose refuses.

Rose pulls over to the side of the road as she sees a flower store selling a bunch of lovely Daffodil flowers.

As Rose exits the vehicle and carries one of the bouquets, she secures the bouquet in the back of the vehicle and drives to the hospital,

while also bringing a bucket full of fruits and writing a nice letter to place on the fruits.

"Thank you," Jorgia says as they wait for the traffic light to turn green.

"Here's the hospital.....go ahead, I'll park the car," Rose says to Jorgia, who nods and exits the car, holding the flower bouquet and the fruit bucket in both hands.

"What?? It's snowing" While getting out of the car, Rose says something unexpected.

"Well, I do have two coats in my car, let me get those out," Rose mumbles as she checks the weather on her phone, which predicts snow but that it will be sunny after twelve o'clock.

Rose blasts a thick cloud of breath out of her mouth.

"Yes, these are the two coats I acquired after Christmas, and they should enough" Rose rushes over the hospital's gate to meet Jorgia's mother, clutching the two jackets in her hands and putting them over her arms.

"Good morning, ma'am," says Rose.

As she enters the room, Rose greets Jorgia's mother.

In anguish, Jorgia's mother smiles. "Isn't the hospital bill too much?" Jorgia's mother asks, chokingly. "I'm fine, take me home."

Jorgia leaps to her feet and murmurs, "Don't worry, I'll take care of everything."

"I have paid the hospital's cost," Rose adds as she throws Jorgia a coat and says, "so take your time, we're leaving when the snow slows down."

Jorgia nods as tears stream down her cheeks, and Rose steps outside the door to light a cigarette in memory of her mother, who has passed away.

"Can we leave now that I'm done?" Jorgia inquires as she stands next to Rose, who is smoking a cigarette in a melancholy manner.

Rose is astonished as she tosses the ciggerate down and crushes it with her shoes as she nods and asks, "Jorgia, don't you think you should be a housewife rather than a coffee shop servant?."

"I have a boyfriend," Jorgia admits hesitantly, "but he is not qualified to maintain a family, so we are deferring our relationship."

"It's excellent that you people understand the meaning of holding off," Rose says with a nod.

"Get in quickly," Rose urges as she starts the car.

They seemed delighted as they drove through the city, Jorgia's face shining with a smile as the weather turned sunny, providing a refreshing environment for everyone outside.

The older people were all in a pack of uncles who were living their lives to the fullest as they approached the rivers, leaving a beautiful display in Jorgia's eyes as they paused the journey and Rose pulled the car to their picnic spot, where Rose and Jorgia captured a plethora of photos on their phones.

Rose decides to eat lunch after an hour of work, and they both lay out the cloth for sitting on the fresh grass.

"Wow, I had no idea you were such a good cook?" As she takes a big taste of the chicken and seasoned salad with sauce, Rose exclaims.

"Thank you... I studied these recipes when I went to visit my mother when I was in college," Jorgia adds as she eats her fill.

"I see, I'm not a fantastic chef, so I'd rather have steak or salmon or any other pre-heated food on a daily basis, even if I eat too much and don't gain any weight," Rose chuckles.

"Well, thank you for paying the medical bill; I genuinely appreciate your compassion," Jorgia says, her voice breaking down.

"It's fine, but promise me you'll join me for lunch when I invite you?" Rose asks.
