53 Can you hear me

"Put...Put me down! Wh-What the heck you are playing at--" Eva whisper-shouted at him, as she seemed to be struggling hard in his strong arms, as it was quite awkward for her to endure being suddenly picked up by a strange unfamiliar person.

"Ugh, shut up if you don't want to cause unnecessary trouble." Czar sounded a bit vexed, intending to keep her quiet. 

Immediately, he gazed around themselves and took a huge powerful flight grasping her tightly in his arms. Utilizing the strength of his superhuman werewolf legs, he took a huge jump from the downstairs and landed straight on the hallway passage of the second floor where Zeus's room was located.

Eva was petrified in shock and surprise as she stared at him intensively, keeping her eyes wide open. Witnessing such a strange inhuman incident right before her eyes, she was spellbound. For a moment, she even forgot to breath properly.

As Czar descended on the second floor with his huge jump, cryptically, he took a glance at her who seemed to be a petite small being, being tugged in his sturdy arms and gaping at him in awe.

"We arrived at our destination, little duckling. Did I surprise you with my power?" He tossed a spooky grin at her, gripping his hand firmly around her waist.

For a few minutes, she couldn't utter a single word as it resembled, she was trying hard to get accustomed with the absurd reality. She gulped her saliva anxiously and inquired him back, "did...did you just...fly?"

"Do I seem like a bird to you? Why would I fly?"

"But...you took a huge flight and landed straight here from downstairs--"

"Ahh, you are so naive. I just took a high jump, that's all." He murmured his sentence with a small smirk lingering on his passionate soft lips, cryptically winking his eyes at her. "Judging from your surprised face, are you impressed with my powerful, attractive skills?" He continued to tease her.

Eva frowned her eyebrow ridge and fidgeted anxiously within his grasp. "Pu...Put me down, please." She responded.

Without opposing her decision, obediently, Czar unleased her from his grip by putting her down on the ground carefully. As soon as she get off his embrace, she glanced at him with a fretful expression. 

"Please take me to Zeus before anything happens again." Her pleading sounded much dense, and fretted.

"That's why we are here for. Look ahead, at that giant door. That room belongs to him." He pointed his index finger straight towards the gigantic metallic door of a room located at the ultimate end of the hall way. A humongous golden plated wolf-head was being crafted on the black colored metal door which clearly depicted the superiority of the person residing in that room. 

All impatient and eager, without wasting a further second, Eva started running towards the room with gallant footsteps. Her eyes looked all intense, she was breathing hard and from her gesticulations, she seemed unable to suppress her urges anymore to peek a glance at her awaited one...

"Wait! You can't go on your own...the door won't open!" Czar seemed a bit surprised to watch her dashing towards that giant door all of a sudden. With a baffled look on his face, he started rushing after her. However, she seemed to be extremely lucky as at that moment, the hallway was completely desolated. She somehow escaped from attracting any malicious attention.

Soon she dashed closer to the door and started panting heavily as the hallway passage was quite long to cover! All anxious, she started gazing towards the door but something felt a bit off!

There was not a single specific door knob placed on the gigantic door of his room. Eva desperately looked around everywhere being all perplexed, trying hard to come up with a clue.

"Hey, you can't enter inside without me!" Czar snarled at her again in an agitated voice, approaching her quickly.

In the spark of a moment, all of a sudden, Eva touched the giant gold-plated wolf-head with her trembling right palm, gulping down her saliva anxiously. Immediately, a miraculous event happened right before them!

An illuminant spark of golden-red light brightened up the entire humongous door. The flash of light was so sudden that she had to avert her gaze somewhere else, to protect herself from getting blinded by the light. As the light brightened up the surface, immediately the door unlocked and its two partitions opened up towards inside on their own. It was a miraculous moment to witness!

Czar was spellbound to notice the strange happenings right before his eyes and immediately he shifted his gaze towards her. "Hey... h-how did you open the door? You... You shouldn't be able to unlock it! How did you do it?" He frowned his eyebrows, inquiring her sternly.

Slowly, she uncovered her eyes and gasped a heavy breath out. "I...I just touched the crafted golden wolf-head design... I thought...maybe it's the access of this room." 

"How is this possible? Only the creatures having a pure wolf bloodline in their gene are capable of unlocking the doorway... How could she do it? How could a mere human be able to touch our divine spiritual wolf-head? Who the heck is she?" Lost in his thoughts, he was gawking at her intensively.

"You are really strange--"

"I am sorry, but I can't wait anymore. I am heading inside." She sounded very restless and all of a sudden, she rushed inside the door with a grimacing expression imprinted on her face.

With a heavy jolt, after dashing inside the room and glanced around everywhere, breathing out heavily. But her eyes stuck on the vision in front of her, and a huge sword of pain stabbed her wrecked heart deeply.

On the large, extremely sumptuous bed, Zeus was lying down all motionless and numb. His upper portion of the muscular, strong physique was naked, but the grave injuries near his abdomen along with the injuries in his arms were wrapped up in bandages. The injuries seemed so severe that they were wrapped up in several folds of gauzes and smeared with blood droplets. His breathing was intense but slow as if... it was even too difficult for him to inhale air for survival... He seemed tired and immersed in deep sleep, with his pale, numb face, emotionless face.

Sobbing down in tears, she rushed towards him and helplessly stared at his distressed condition for a few seconds. Abruptly, she lowered her face closer to his body and with the utmost affection, touched his cold, firm palm. 

"Zeus? Can... Can you hear me? Look...Look at me, Zeus. See, I have come for you... I...I came here just for you without even caring about my life... But, why are you like this? Why are you so stiff and numb? Are... Are you in so much pain? Can you hear me? Zeus, please don't be silent...My...My heart is bleeding to watch you like this...Please, just once... Please can you open your eyes... please? Please can you look at me...just once? I won't ask more...But please, just look at me once, please?" She caressed his arm, whispering close to his ears her along with tear droplets dripping down on his arm she was holding tight.
