Is Everyone Around Me Like That

"What the hell is happening?" A sudden proposal. This is insane.

"Daniel Daniel listen to me! I can understand you but I am not in the mood to get married to someone at the moment. Can you not understand me?

After all the things I went through, do you think I can just get married to someone? After all, you are my best friend. I did love you but as a friend. I never had any sort of romantic feelings towards you and I am dangerous. Anything can happen to you if you stay with me."

My past started to reappear in my mind. Every time he protected me, every time he defended me against the other guys. How nice he was towards me, and how nice were his parents towards me.

'They were together with me until the day they died. If it weren't for that accident that happened 15 years ago. That dark night with the thunderstorm. How the car we were on slipped out of the road and fell down the hill.

It was just me and him who survived. His parents both passed away. I cannot just betray him though, he is the one who protected me all the time.

'Okay then, wait till I grab us something to drink. He disappeared. Maybe I should follow him cause he has always acted strange whenever something sad happened to him. As guessed without getting the drinks, I saw him going out from the back door.

I slowly followed him because I didn't want him to notice me following me. I kept following him slowly and quietly when he entered a dark alley where there was no one.

It was a dead end. He kneeled down as if he was going to pray for something. He bent down and looked behind. I guess he didn't see me because of the dark. And started mumbling but since I was far away I could barely hear anything but when the wall started to glow in red I was about to faint.'

"What the hell is happening?!

From the red glowing wall, a man or a woman dressed totally in black appeared. He or she had a pair of black wings which was exactly similar to Samaels'.

"You weren't able to complete your task? And you summoned me knowing that you will be killed on spot after reporting it to me?" The words were clear like crystals.

"What should I do I can't just keep looking at Daniel getting killed?" I am sure about the fact that I have some power but it never has appeared when I wanted it. Even if it's not going to appear, it's okay.

'He was the only one who believed me, the one who was always there with me, and the one who severely loved me. I will save him no matter what.'

My heart started to beat fast when she pulled out a sword. Even though it was dark, it shinned with darkness. She bends down touching his face lifting it up.

Making me more surprised, as she touched him two wings appeared to him. He didn't move a little and let her take control over him. Poor soul, she said. Stop right there, I shouted…

I came out from the dark. The shining moon made me visible to them.

"Look at what I am seeing. What I want is exactly in front of me," she said, and within a blink, she was in front of my eyes.

"Time to die!" she pushed the sword through me. I didn't feel anything but I took a step back.

I was scared that Daniel would get hurt when I saw him running towards me. My light pink wings appeared from me and even though it was bleeding I looked straight into her eyes.

"This can't be happening, how are you still alive!! You were killed before you obtained the power of the crimson rose.

"I can't be killed that easily, I pulled out the sword which ran through my heart. And is this what you are talking about, I showed her my wrist."

"So you really did obtain it and you were killed after you obtained it. Even before I acted up, my hand grabbed her neck and raised her up in the sky. The rose in my hand was shining bright and I never felt bad for holding her by the neck.

The last sentence which came out of my mouth wasn't my words. I never meant to say that and she started turning into ash. She was burned alive on my hand and I fell unconscious on the ground.

When I woke up my friend Daniel was still holding me in his arms. He was crying his heart out. Saying sorry towards me.

It's alright, I said completely opening my eyes. You never did something wrong. You were just a victim of her and I can understand that.

Let's go to a hospital, that was the only word that came out of his mouth.

Don't worry I don't need to go to a hospital see I am completely fine, I said standing up. Let's go inside.

We were just about to come out of the alley, by the way, what should I do to my wings? I asked Daniel. Just ask them to disappear.
