Self-Preservation

With Ying's fight finished, Jayce and Yuko spent a few more hours patrolling before returning to their rooms. He also kept using his skill to inspect the crowd but did so in moderation to avoid the backlash of overusing it.

In his head, he was reviewing Ying's fight, attempting to come up with strategies that would allow him to win while not exhausting all of his resources. Yet, no matter how much he thought about it, he came to the same conclusion.

It was impossible.

He was not only lacking information but he was also an entire rank below Ying. Winning itself didn't seem unattainable, yet doing so would require him to use all of his stops, excluding Nightmare and Synchro.

'Failing this quest is also not an option.'
